On Friday morning when it was not any better we called her usual Chiropractor but she was or of town. She recommended Dr. Angela who was gracious enough to work Chara in. Dr. Angela is an extremely thorough chiropractor and she takes her time in getting to know what is going on and does not rush her way through adjusting her patient. Chara loved how gentle she was and how she explained what was going on and how she was working to correct it. While Chara was being adjusted, Don, her assistant gave me a tour of heir beautiful office and stupid me forgot to take photos - but I will next time. It is so pretty and so serene. I curled up in the massage chair and could have slept their all afternoon. They have a masso therapist and a reflexologist who take appointments as well as a nutritionist! I am so excited. The people treat you like family and know their patients by name. Dr. K is very professional but also good about making sure the person is cared for holistically, and makes it a point to find out what is going on in your life, contributing to the stress on your joints and muscles. I have used chiropractic as a supplement to of course my primary care physicians and specialists all through the years. In this case, however, I found myself in pain due to the truck in front of me dumping half of his bumper in the road, which immediately flew underneath my little car. I slammed on the brakes in order to not destroy my car, but alas, my car was totaled from this kind of an impact. Right now, I am battling with the insurance company and mourning the loss of my little convertible that I treasured and kept in impeccable condition. That said, three days after this unfortunate occurrence I noticed that my neck was very tight and I was having symptoms. I decided I needed to go to be evaluated by chiropractic. My primary care physician wanted me to go to the emergency room, but I knew that would become an unnecessary expenditure of money. I do not have a chiropractor in this area so I sought the help of yelp! This was an outstanding visit in which I left feeling so much better! My doctor (Dr Hoback) had a wonderful sense of humor, was kind and very gentle with me, knowing that I was in good deal of discomfort. I will agree with every single person on Yelp that between the office, the phone call, the ease of filling out forms and the doctor herself, that this is an outstanding little practice.
