I notice the professionalism of the man himself, but once he passes you to his other people everything seem to start getting done just to please him and is no longer about what you want or need which is why your there. I needed immigration work done and I brought most of the necessary paperwork needed and Kenya Danduro wanted to take the payment in advance and she is like "we don't reimburse anything" so I am like "I just have half of it right know I will bring you the rest on my next visit" she accepted I gave her half of their fees and at this point I'm thinking to myself that I run into one of those law firms that make money off their customers just by complicate things so we get the notion that they are working on things extremely complicated. Right after I gave her the documents she pretty much discarded most of the documents and she told me to find a bunch of other documents and to go to the FBI etc. Etc. On my next visit I just told them I didn't want them to represent me. Now my current lawyer asked for a quarter of what they ask for as fees but most importantly, he did a great job with just the initial documents I took to Moreno, he didn't even mention FBI And all the other bullshit that the assistant was asking for. Moreno and associates is a great law firm!!!!! I can honestly say that all my family and friends have gone to have their legal matters resolved with them. My husband got his papers within 1 year. During the process we did speak with the assistant which is Patricia but she always was a very nice lady and never answered in a rude manner. She always took our calls and answered every question I had. When we started the immigration process they gave us a fair price and never charged us more than what was agreed. (I had gone to check out other pricing for the same matter with different lawyers and prices where the same) I didn't have to pay for the appointment . Please if you are looking for a lawyer, please avoid this place. First, the attorneys are terrible you will never see them except when is your first appointment other than that you will be seeing the assistant Patricia that can be rude to you as well. I really, regret having trusted this firm of unprofessional "attorneys" if you this is what you call attorneys. Once you paid, they will never call you back to review your case, at least you keep on calling them, and the secretary will get annoying if you keep on calling to know about your case. So depress, and sad. I chose them because a friend of mine recommended them to me but now my friend changed attorneys and he his case is over, and my case has not even started and is on the loop. Please if you are looking for real help with immigration this is not the right place. This is a real review with the best intentions to help people, I would like to avoid you a bad experience, and I would like to help you to save money. If you think that because they speak Spanish or are Hispanics are better that other lawyers WRONG they are the same as any other attorneys. Ed & Emma's reviews seem exactly on point in regards to this business. They represented me in a case from 2010-2013 and the whole time it was one big headache! Most of the staff speaks in a condescending manner and has an attitude. They were late on submitting some things and it delayed the case. I always had to harass them for updates, one lawyer in specific was always a a** and treated me like sh*t unless my husband was with me. Baker I believe his name was. Anyway they were able to have me keep my papers but I'm positive someone else could have done the job in a more professional manner. Fast forward to today, I am trying to get my citizenship and my new lawyer is asking for all the work that was done back then and they don't have it but told me they would have my file in a week. I show up and they said "it's not in the office," they need to go out and find it. Which was what I told they were supposed to be doing all in that week.. My family was recommended to this place by a person we know from our home town. I am so disappointed that these people do not take their work seriously. You call to make an appointment and you show up on time and yet you still have to wait to see the attorney. When I first went to a consultation, they make the petition seem like such a big deal and really difficult, I guess it is just to justify their pricing. If you ask a question most of the time they make you feel dumb, and I say "they", because I have met with more than one attorney at that office. They do not call to inform you how your case is going, and when you call they have an attitude. Once you make an appointment, they rush you through and you waited more in the waiting room than you have in the actual appointment. If they ask you to pay a certain amount to keep you more informed dont do it! My mom paid $500 to supposedly keep us up to date with our case and it was the same as before, no calls. We decided to go to another attorney and to our surprise we werent qualified for 245i like they had been telling us. Now I'm not surprised why they didnt know, its because they dont even take time to get to know your case. They just ask a few simple questions and collect your money. They dont really bother to get to know your case. If you are looking for an attorney that will actually do all their work dont go here.
