In all the years we have lived in riverside, we have never been to this mall before. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced as it is uneven and has so many potholes. The mall itself was like a ghost town, it was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon and I see that a lot of stores are closed down. They did have a bunch of cool stores that we visited after a day at Round 1 such as Bath & Bodyworks, the Nerd Nook and Box Lunch. Totally gave me Carlsbad mall graveyard vibes when it was getting revamped. I would visit again, but only if I was in the area. read more

So back in the day this place was always jumping. Now I have to admit it's a little sad. Because I'm a big believer in supporting local business I will still go. Bath N Body, Victoria's Secret, Miniso, LensCrafters, and a few other stores are the reason I come. I know the city has plans for a huge remodel and all I can say is it's not coming fast enough. I've been popping in here for years . The mall has started to revive itself as a place to check out . This mall is big on entertainment. There is an arcade entertainment center , a kids play gym, those stuffed animal riders, a movie theater , there is also a public library. This is all before the hair salon, food court, and of course shops. It looks like they have a few places coming soon. I initially stopped in to return an online purchase, but decided to see what the mall had inside. I didn't get to check out everything so I'll go back. read more

POPULAR & WACKY! Moreno Valley Mall is such a crazy mall, it's got some ghetto vibes, but I always find myself coming back to it. I used to live in Moreno Valley so I know this mall like the back of my hand. It's got a movie theater, Round 1, kiosks, several department stores, and locally-owned businesses. There's plenty of parking surrounding the mall and a large food court on the second floor. I've also spotted a gaming lounge and several amenities for families. The mall has some stores with reasonable value. The mall could be a little cleaner, sometimes the restrooms are a hot mess, but I do spot people cleaning the food court regularly. Service is fine, the mall employees keep to themselves. read more

I drove to Moreno Valley Mall the other day to pick up an online order from JCPenney. Just like any other mall, it has tons of parking. Lots were clean. Different entry points into the mall are available. Just check beforehand as to which part of the mall you plan to hang out most at so you may park closer to that section or you may take advantage of your visit and park the farthest and enjoy your walk. My focus was JCPenney only so I didn't get a chance to walk around and check out the rest of the mall. I would love to come back here one day to see what it has to offer. read more

This mall is clean and well maintained, though it doesn't have a wide variety of stores. It does feature a nice Harkins movie theater, a few jewelry shops, and some major retailers like Macy's and JCPenney. There's also a Round 1, although I haven't checked it out yet. I do wish they had a bookstore and a more inviting food court. Overall, it's an okay place to visit, nothing too exciting, but decent for a quick stop. read more

Come on guys!!! Do better!!! This mall looks hella abandoned and the landscape around it needs attention! We weren't sure if it was an actual real mall that was opened or not! ‍ Please give it life and Spruce it up! Plant flowers or add something that makes it look OPENED The location is perfect as this City is a nice one, to stay on when visiting. I loved the area since they have lots of stores and restaurants. Very convenient!!! There's plenty of parking and lots of stores inside, even though it doesn't appear to have. I'll return to shop here because we found great deals, for it to be considered a high priced State! I love that ...although, it's not kept up outside that the technology inside was on point! You guys are living in 2037 There's plenty of parking onsite and it's worth going in to shop! We had a great time! Btw... to the guy cleaning the bathroom... he did an amazing job and thanks for letting me in! The only thing is you forgot to install toilet tissue in all stalls but thankfully another lady was in there next to me, who handed me a roll under the door and thankfully I carry my own wipes everywhere. Went in excepting a dead mall from the other reviews I have read and was totally blown away! Yes, there is a section of the 2nd floor where the stores are mostly closed but other than that, the rest of the mall has some great stores and had quite a bit of foot traffic on a Monday afternoon! I have been exploring almost the malls on and off during Covid, and just recently visited this mall. I actually found this mall very satisfying from the amount of shops and the variety of shops, as well as the architecture and colors. I enjoyed my visit and also got to meet the director of management who was super nice. This mall spans two floors and has a huge food court. They have a Macy's and a JC Penny's as the main department stores and also have the usual mall stores like Victoria's Secret, Van's, Hot Topic, Torrid, etc., however they have a lot of unique stores which you don't find that often in some of the malls. Harkins Movie Theatre, Round 1 Bowling, Crunch Fitness, Fye, Toys 4 U, and Kelly's Coffe and Fudge. They probably have around 130 shops and most were open. They do have a few new stores as well. It's possible they replaced some of the ones closed, but I plan to work with management and find the actual address of these stores which are not yet listed on either Yelp or Google maps. Old mall with a lot of missing stores inside. Some decent stores, but at least they have an arcade Round 1 over there.

PROS: -Has a decent Round 1 -They have a theater here -A nicely stocked Miniso -Strangely lots of stores with anime goods (FYE, Fancy Way, Box Lunch, Comics & Anime -though it's mostly just Funko Pops, and some of the other random stores and kiosks). CONS: -Very inconsistent AC. I was BOILING on the second floor, no matter what store I was in. Bottom floor actually felt cool. -This mall is FILTHY. I'm not sure if they have enough custodial staff? The floor's covered in trash and food in random places. Dirt streaks from people walking into spilled drinks on the ground. -After hours here, the same trash was still all over the ground near the exit. -Trash cans were overflowing. -The escalators had so much dust, grime, chewed gum, hair, etc in all the grooves. -Good chunk of the mall is dead with closed businesses (this has become common and to be honest, not as bad as the Puente Hills Mall). Alright if you're here to check out the Round 1 or something, but definitely not if you're here to have a "chill" mall day. I would not go to this mall in sandals LOL. read more

Moreno Valley Mall is not too far from March ARB and just off the 215 and 60 Freeways. The Mall anchors are Macy's, Sears, JC Penney's and a Harkins's Theatre. Clearly the pandemic has hurt a great many stores inside the mall. The Food Court also has some openings, with signs saying: "Something Great is Coming Here!" We came here looking for some stocking-stuffers at MimiSo store. They had a great selection of Marvel gear, see photos. Nextdoor is Towngate Promenade which is located on the western perimeter outside. It has a variety of places to eat, like Portillo's, Pieology, BWW, Bakers and they're all within walking distance of each other and Costco. read more

The only impressive aspect of this mall is the architecture. It is actually among some of the most quintessential 90s vibes that still exist. The shops are all selling the same crap, so nothing special or unique. Too much anime, Funko Pop, overpriced pop culture t shirts. The food court was surprisingly expensive, like airport food. There are many empty suites. We went on February 25th and there were Xmas garlands hanging up in the rafters. The only reason to visit would be for a 90s style photo shoot or to get your daily step count. It is large. read more

I work in the mall and our AC, along with the 2 stores next door have been BROKEN for a YEAR. The owners haven't done anything until now. They gave us the runaround saying they ordered the parts blah blah. In reality they were looking for the cheapest option to fix the AC. They decided to install a Splitter that goes on the wall and that has been delayed as well. Something about the mall owner not paying the AC guy. But hey, let's see the renovations they're gonna do when they can't even bother to fix our AC. UPDATE: The guy installing the AC units isn't even HVAC trained or certified. He's an electrician. Oh dear! This mall is in very dire shape. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and I have never seen this mall in such bad shape. The floors are filthy, tables in the food hall not cleaned, so many stores have closed down. Such a shame that this mall has been left to rot. Other than Harkins, I don't see any appeal or need to come here anymore. Unfortunately have to travel to Tyler mall or one of the Outlets. read more

I love Moreno Valley Mall. I love the food court. Recently, there has been a woman pushing stroller with baby in it, 2 little girls following her, begging for money from people walking. And then she goes to the food court and go table to table begging for money from visitors enjoying their meals. I would appreciate it if the management takes care of the issue as soon as they can. Getting there: Located on the south side of the 60 fwy, follow the directions of your navigation system and you should be ok. Just note that there are more than one entrance to the mall, so be sure to find out which entrance you need to get to. Experience: I needed to come here to get my booster as this is one of Kaiser's vaccination sites; I now see why. Going to this mall was like a glimpse into a post apocalyptic world. The mall was almost completely deserted. There were not directions on where to go so we went to the back main entrance. The mall opens at 11am but the doors were locked. So we went to one of the side entrances and luckily we found signs to tell us where to go. From there, everything went smoothly. I was in and out in about 30-45 minutes. read more

The one star review is only for the round one. I literally have no other reason to come to this mall besides that and I would only do so when asked by others to go there. I'd rather go to the round 1 in puente hills mall. That mall is also small but at least the round one staff are nice and alert, always fixing the machines and adjusting the cranes. Otherwise there just isn't much here. No major department stores besides Macy's. Bath and body works. A tiny express outlet. Food court is sad and really dirty, with little selection. Drive to Tyler, Ontario mills, or Victoria gardens if you really want to shop. read more

The glory days of this so-called mall are very long gone, yes they announced a new development for this place. But retail is a bloated dying business that is no longer relevant to any consumers that can easily have merchandise delivered to your front door. The owners of this place don't give a crap about this mall and are letting it fall apart. The ac doesn't work and it's hot as hell in there. A public park restroom is a lot cleaner than their restrooms. They have way too many swap meet stores. You need to bring a flashlight inside the mall with you because their lighting is terrible. Let's not even talk about the "Lord of the flies" atmosphere they have with the local kids. Amazon is your hero, save yourself the grief and just order online. read more

I did not come here with high expectations. We were only there because we had to meet with someone at the food court. Food options are just underwhelming. Stores in here feel like you're in an indoor swap meet. The second floor was scorching hot. Probably because the food court is located up there. Not to mention the lack of general and basic cleaning and maintenance of the buildings. You're lucky to find a bathroom stall that offers doors that lock properly. Don't waste your time here. Try the Tyler mall, Ontario Mills, Victoria Gardens, Cabazon Outlets instead. Skip this one as fast as you can. read more

New and improved !! I deleted my previous review for good reason The "rent a cop" force has been replaced by "In house" security that is a VAST IMPROVEMENT. The security director is former law enforcement and appears as tough as nails with a fair but no nonsense attitude. The cleaning crew has been restored to its former self and the mall is sparkling again. New businesses are moving in. An Arcadia Museum for kids and a Michoacán Ice Cream store are both coming soon. Champions Barber Shop has moved next to Macy's still In the upper level. Worth a visit in my opinion !! read more

2.5 stars. First timer here on an early Monday afternoon. I originally came because I was told the retailer Miniso was larger here than at the Galleria at Tyler in Riverside and I wanted to check it out. I like the wide open airiness of this mall and the way it's arranged. Also, it's not a bad size. I walked the entire mall thoroughly while I was here and it's actually not quite as bad as I thought it would be by reading other Yelp reviews. I've never seen a mall that contains a library, movie theatre, bowling alley/arcade center, AND a gym! This was probably a very nice mall back in its day. Many stores have a makeshift setup of their merchandise, such as in crates, old shelving, etc., but this isn't a ritzy area. However, I've never been in a store in which there were garbage bags full of items out on the sales floor. I like that they had a bookstore in which the most expensive book I saw was $3. There's also a few other stores here that most other malls don't have such as a cap store with the most caps I've ever seen in a store and a music store selling old music CDs, audio cassette tapes, and records. The food court seemed OK, but I didn't eat anything there. So far, I might return about once a year, who knows....mainly because my fiance' loves this one store here. read more
