We also had to have our nearly 17 year old jack russell "Jake" put to sleep and once again they did it with kindness and dignity. We would recommend them very very highly. I used this surgery all through my childhood/ teenage years and my family still do. They have given my mum huge help through difficult illnesses with her pets. On boxing day before we moved back to the area, our dog ripped her face open in the woods and we used the out of hours emergency service at Swayne and Partners. The vet was absolutely lovely and you wouldn't have known that our dumb mutt had ripped him away from his family! Highly recommended.

He had to have surgery and stay in for a few days and well, he didn't want to come home! They are well cared for and loved by all the staff there. They use their name to make them feel at home. I was given an initial quote which seems very reasonable although after the surgery they said they had complications which then increased my bill which is understandable. It is quite a busy little pratice but they do make room for you if you call for an appointment. There are emergency consultations too. A great vets and the only one I ever go to now.

Appalled at the whole service including complaints management which has still not said why my dog was bruised and appeared traumitized on his return. They said that x-rays were necessary for my puppy though I have now talked to another vet who says recommending them was probably so they could collect the £££ which by the way is pretty high compared to other local vets. Don't waste your time and money!

Lovely team of vets, nurses and support staff. A nicely stocked surgery so you can pick up pet food and sundry pet items when you visit. The medical care they've given to both my dogs is first class. I'd particuarly recommend their 'puppy parties' - great for socialisation of young dogs and for becoming familiar with the vets. This is a new (opened Jan 2008) vets which has opened between Needham Market and Stowmarket…read more I spotted the signs for this vet and told a friend about it and she was unfortunate enough to need it when her daughters cat was run over. She told me they were fantastic and didn't charge the earth. A couple of months later my dog was having breathing problems and I thought I would give them a try as I don't much care for the vet I normally use. Cedarwoods vets were fantastic nothing was too much trouble they respected my decision not to have her exrayed with her breathing being so bad (they would have had to put her to sleep to do this). We was going on holiday the following week if the dog was better and they managed to fit me in on the Monday morning to check her over before we went. I can't praise this Vets practice enough. Overall I had 8 visits with treatment on all but one visit and blood tests this was just short of £250-00 which I thought was excellent value. Well worth a visit if you need a friendly vet who doesn't charge the earth and is willing to spend time explaining things to you.
