We also had to have our nearly 17 year old jack russell "Jake" put to sleep and once again they did it with kindness and dignity. We would recommend them very very highly. Thank you so very much to you all kind Regards Mr & Mrs Sutton, Teddy and Benson too

I used this surgery all through my childhood/ teenage years and my family still do. They have given my mum huge help through difficult illnesses with her pets. On boxing day before we moved back to the area, our dog ripped her face open in the woods and we used the out of hours emergency service at Swayne and Partners. The vet was absolutely lovely and you wouldn't have known that our dumb mutt had ripped him away from his family! Highly recommended.

He had to have surgery and stay in for a few days and well, he didn't want to come home! They are well cared for and loved by all the staff there. They use their name to make them feel at home. I was given an initial quote which seems very reasonable although after the surgery they said they had complications which then increased my bill which is understandable. It is quite a busy little pratice but they do make room for you if you call for an appointment. There are emergency consultations too. A great vets and the only one I ever go to now.

Despite the website stating direct claims with insurance companies can be agreed I was told no and payment is required every 24 hours. I challenged the lie we were told by the clinical director and she ignored it. A complaint was raised and I received what appears to be a copy and paste mission statement. Despite being with the vets for 14 years and paying thousands of pounds in bills on time they simply don't care. Money is the one and only focus of this practice and not the pet's immediate care. We have thankfully found a family run practice with the best interests of our pets at heart. To say I'm disgusted is an understatement.

She told me they were fantastic and didn't charge the earth. A couple of months later my dog was having breathing problems and I thought I would give them a try as I don't much care for the vet I normally use. Cedarwoods vets were fantastic nothing was too much trouble they respected my decision not to have her exrayed with her breathing being so bad (they would have had to put her to sleep to do this). We was going on holiday the following week if the dog was better and they managed to fit me in on the Monday morning to check her over before we went. I can't praise this Vets practice enough. Overall I had 8 visits with treatment on all but one visit and blood tests this was just short of £250-00 which I thought was excellent value. Well worth a visit if you need a friendly vet who doesn't charge the earth and is willing to spend time explaining things to you.

My beautiful dog was put to sleep in October. This was because she had a womb infection - Pyometra,…read morewhich had become too advanced to treat. Her uterus was full of pus which was slowly leaking into her tummy. She was taken to our vets (Kessingland branch of Three Rivers) 2 days running and misdiagnosed on both occasions with 2 different reasons as to what was wrong, and this was by 2 different vets. One of whom was the senior vet and one of these appointments was an emergency appointment at night. As a result of their incompetence her last days would have been agony for her. On the 3rd day I went in without her to discuss her symptons with a 3rd different vet. She was going downhill fast. On the 4th day running she was taken to a totally different vets practice who instantly picked up what was wrong and scanned her to confirm it. By then it was so advanced that the kindest thing to do was to put her to sleep. It has nearly destroyed myself, husband and the kids. My baby suffered needlessly because of the incompetence at the hands of one branch of vets and as a result had to be put to sleep. Had this have been picked up on her 1st visit to that vet things may have been very different now. I have complained to Three Rivers vets and been told by the exceptionally rude clinical director - that the vets there did nothing wrong and diagnosed her correctly on each occasion. The diagnosis on the 1st visit was Arthritis. On the 2nd visit apparantly she had reacted to the painkiller from the day before, and the 3rd visit they decided she had worms. Not once despite now discovering she had classic textbook sypmtons did they pick the Pyometra up, or offer to scan, xray her or do blood tests. I had never had Coco spayed as instead had my boy dogs neutered. This was based on their advice also!! So if anyone uses or is considering using Three rivers vets please please think carefully and remember our story.

Their out of hours care is borderline terrible. Our family had the vet out during the night when it was very clear that our dog was in a great deal of distress and had come to the end of the line. The vet refused to do the humane thing and pumped painkillers into it, requesting that we wait until the following day for euthanasia. One hour later and the painkillers were not working, the dog was in agony and the vet refused to come back to put it to sleep. We were forced to drive to their other surgery which was almost an hour away to finally give our dog peace. When we arrived, the vet insisted we wait for the nurse to arrive before he put the dog to sleep, so we had to wait for over 10 minutes whilst the dog bellowed and howled in agony on the table, until the right thing was finally done. Some of the vets here are very good, this vet was not.
