I was involved in a rear-end car accident while stopped at a light. I went to the hospital afterward, had X-rays done, and was told I sustained some permanent damage from the accident. I then began chiropractic care and also attended physical therapy for 10-12 weeks. After the accident, I contacted Morgan & Morgan. Following my initial phone consultation, I had a few follow-up questions. When I called their Brooklyn office, it took three days for someone to get back to me. When I finally spoke with the attorney, he had an attitude and told me it normally takes 24-48 hours to respond. Personally, I found that excessive especially since it actually took longer. Looking back, that probably should've been my sign not to move forward with them, but I stayed. Over the next year, the only real communication I received from them was occasional check-ins about how my chiropractic treatment was going. There were no meaningful updates on my case. As we approached the two-year mark, I got a call from their office saying my chiropractor was being "combative." When I spoke to my chiropractor, he showed me that he had already sent my records twice, both times confirmed as received and signed for by their office--yet they somehow lost the paperwork both times and were requesting it again. During this entire period, I consistently attended physical therapy for weeks and continued chiropractic care as well. Then, just a little over two weeks before the two year anniversary of my accident, I received an email stating they would not be moving forward with my case. I called multiple times and never got a response. I even contacted their customer service line, and although they said they would notify the attorney to call me back, I never heard from anyone. I followed up with two emails--still nothing. Their lack of communication and overall customer service was extremely frustrating. I would not recommend them to anyone. They're too big, and in my experience, they simply don't care about their clients. If you're considering them, I'd strongly suggest going with a different attorney. read more

Contacted them tp help with my SSDI appeal. Told them all the info I had and they wanted more from Social Security. I made an appointment and got that info and then the next time I talked with Morgan and Morgan Inothing was talked about the new paperwork I received and they said I did not meet the work requirements because the person didnt seem to understand it was an appeal and it goes back to the date I originally applied. I tried to info her and she kept saying the same thing. "I can email you info from social security and that will explain it to you" even though I said I've talked to social security and they said I still meet the requirements. My mother had a trip and fall in public place. She was taken to the ER and has been suffering from the injuries she sustained from the fall.M&M started off good. They send an investigator who confirmed the place where she fell was unsafe due to lack of maintenance. However, her case kept being transferred to several attorneys. The last attorney said he was going to send her to be medically evaluated, however, instead she received a FedEx notifying her they were dropping her case and she has 3 yrs to pursue it with another law firm. After seven months of working with them (or rather, trying to work with them), they decided to drop my case without so much as an explanation. Communication? Nonexistent. I repeatedly tried to reach out for updates, clarification, anything, but my calls and emails went unanswered. To make matters worse, they continually mixed up details about my account and case. How can you trust a firm that can't even keep basic facts straight? It felt like I was just another number in their system--not the "For the People" service they advertise. I have records, and recordings of every conversation including the "review" and the threat. The co-defendent was in a situation were with the loss of his leg and 3 years of almost no income, he had to do what he was forced to do, and that was take the state minimum for getting rearended by a rental car! This man almost lost his life, and Morgan and Morgan protected the doctor. Morgan and Morgan forced him into a corner using their knowledge to protect their own. If that wasn't enough, then they took more than the percentage they quoted, for work that was never done. In the end, his accident that cost him his leg was worth less than 10k. Dont think about it, just DO NOT call these attorneys. PLEASE STOP! PLEASE KNOW THEY WILL TAKE COMPLETE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. She said that I had a lien on my insurance because of that I never got the partial payment due to that at that time.
