I've been a patient of Dr. Camp's for a few years. I started out investigating indigestion and work related stress (too many years of all nighters at startups in the valley, eating poorly etc.) Dr. Camp was the first doctor who took a Sherlock Holmes approach to figuring out what the real problems were rather than just giving me a Tagamet and telling me cut down on my work hours. Digestive system analysis found lack of beneficial bacteria in the gut, leading to poor digestion and nutrition. With targeted nutritional supplements and dietary change my ulcer-like symptoms disappeared and even my cholesterol drastically improved. He's a great doctor to deal with in that he can handle followup consultations via Skype video conferencing if it doesn't really require a personal appearance to discuss test results. I'd strongly recommend him if you want some "out of the box" thinking on your health. I started going to Dr. Camp's office in March of this year. I saw the Nurse Practitioner, Marya and sat down for my first appointment. During my appointment, I explained all of my concerns and for the first time in a long time someone understood what I was going through and did not tell me that " you are fine" which I had heard from other doctors. Since, then I have taken tests and have had a couple of appointments and we figured out what was going on with me. I have been very impressed by her dedication and professionalism. Anytime that I would call or email with a question she was there with an instant response. I also appreciate her ability to think "outside of the box" which when you have hormonal issues, hypothyroidism, and extreme adrenal fatigue that is very important because there isn't one prescription for everyone. Currently, I am doing everything that she has advised for me to do and I am feeling better. Based on her advise, I have started to live a healthier life. She has helped me to see how important good nutrition is and she helped me to get on a regular program with my vitamins and supplements. Dr. Camp is a savant with regard to looking at a person's baseline metrics from blood and other tests to see, at a systemic level, how to get and keep you healthy. I appreciate his holistic approach. I prefer his style of integrative medicine, combining the best of western and traditional medicine. Here are the unvarnished FACTS: Treatment involved purchase of numerous supplements (no substitutes) sold by the doctor's office. Costly and did not help gut problems. My experience. Guess others have other experiences Also: 2 years ago their office was burglarized and "patients' personal data was stolen including credit card information," per the office newsletter. Was advised to cancel the credit card. No advice given about the personal information or the nature of the personal information except it was not medical. (The "good news," presented in a very chipper fashion, was that the office had instituted new super secure procedures so as not to interrupt the purchase of aforementioned supplements. Burglars must have left some mold spores behind because I was told recently that--since they could not be found--my medical records were 'probably' thrown away two years ago when, among patient records, there was a mold infestation ' '". Guess they could not find a an un-infested pencil to write down the names of the patients whose files were tossed. I am very grateful to Dr. Camp and his amazing staff. He and his team have helped me to over come some major health challenges in the past few years. Two years ago I was struggling both mentally and physically to get through each day, downing cups of coffee thinking I was just a "little run down," when Dr. Camp diagnosed me with Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. Marya, his exceptional nurse practitioner, guided me through treatment options and life style changes to help me reclaim my formally energetic self. Worst "doctor" I have ever met. Lazy , greedy and extremely rude. He seems to think everyone who has a health problem has a moldy home.He runs a lot of expensive tests and then seems to be perplexed as to how to cure any issue you might have. (his in office test kits from some unknown lab in Georgia ,BEWARE, showed I had several serious issues but when I got tested by Marin General their lab showed no such issues)He referred me to multiple friends of his to see if they would have any ideas. He cancels and changes every appointment and his staff call you with a take it or leave it attitude . If you are having anything that feels like an emergancy you are out of luck. If you call this guy you will get his office staff who seem to be under strict orders to not let anyones health issues interupt Morgans day.He called me today and offered to refund my money if I would sign something saying I would not review him. I wasted a lot of time and money ($600 a visit) on this guy , he never as much as took my temperature he just sits there doodling , checking the time and never makes eye contact . If you are really sick this guy is the worst person you could meet . Dr. Camp is great at explaining the science behind various complicated things going on in your body, and coming up with a logical plan to address them. This sort of stuff can be frustrating because there is a lot medicine doesn't know, so you have to understand that a little trial-and-error may be needed to get the right result. I like that Dr. Camp takes a focused and logical approach to it all; his calm manner is very welcome when things otherwise seem very un-even in your life. Highly recommend him. Bonus that his staff is super friendly and helpful - I appreciate them even more because they remember me and help me get what I need with a minimal amount of effort on my part. Dr. Morgan Camp has given me back my good health...and thus my life! He came highly recommended by a friend, and I have found his practice of medicine to be effective, his knowledge thorough and his demeanor compassionate. The hallmarks of an outstanding doctor. I began seeing Dr. Camp in Jan 2013, to treat an array of symptoms caused by exposure to black mold. I had seen numerous doctors over the previous 14 months, none of whom were able to alleviate any of my symptoms with any staying power. My quest to be healthier started years ago by doing yoga and Pilates. At the yoga studio, I signed up for detox-cleanse under a nutritionist. I felt so much better without gluten and dairy but was still very exhausted. The nutritionist suggested that I have my adrenals tested. I was diagnosed with extreme adrenal fatigue syndrome and she referred me to Dr. Camp in 2011. I was tired, moody, sluggish and had brain fog. In addition, I had hormonal imbalances, digestion problems and was overweight. I couldn't stop crying on the first visit, I was a mess. Dr. Camp assured me that we were going to fix everything. He had me do full labs. He analyzed the reports thoroughly and put me a treatment wellness program. We also did a food allergies test and I found I was highly intolerant of black tea. This is basically the modern day version of the tonic salesman of yesteryear. You will be sent on your way with overpriced herbs and promised miracles. I've lowered it from 2 stars to 1, due to my continued bad dealings with Alcat via Dr Camp (google: Alcat Scams, to see how this company operates). My first visit was almost exactly what they advertise on their website. I sat down with the Dr for about an hour and went over all my current and past ailments while he scribbled it down on paper. Most of my problems relate to some very serious gastrointestinal issues I've had, but most of those were fixed via 5 separate surgeries I had last year. I had some extreme complications from one of the surgeries that has had some lingering effects, some of which are what brought me to Dr Camp. I didn't appreciate that as I was leaving and paying my bill after this first visit, the guy behind the desk began discussing my private matters with me and had the nerve to tell me I could have avoided all the surgeries if I'd come to Dr Camp first. I don't think his room of magic herbs can cure esophageal cancer. After the first visit he recommended some testing for food sensitivities and some blood tests for other issues. One of the test kits goes to Metametrix and/or Genova Diagnostics (type either of those in your search engine with the word "complaints" or "reviews" after it and you'll see how sketchy they are via all the complaints). I had called them first to see how they would bill my insurance. The girl on the phone danced around my questions. Today I had to pay the bill in full as they never billed my insurance. The blood tests are mostly done via a kit that gets sent off to a facility. Dr Camps office sent me to Labcorp who doesn't do that sort of kit testing so I had to find another place on my own. You'd think his office would be aware of this! None of these places (including Dr Camp) take insurance so all the visits and testing are done out of your pocket. The second visit came about 3 weeks after the first, when all the lab results were in. I sat down in Dr Camps office to review the results with him. First thing he says is "well, this is just what I suspected". He fumbled his way through the results, going over numeric values of various things and made some recommendations. Ironically, the tests showed nothing wrong. The tests showed negative for yeast, but he said since I had taken antibiotics previously in my life, I probably had a yeast infection now. My vitamin D and B12 levels were within the parameters on the sheet, but he was adamant that I needed those supplements. The real kicker to me that day was his recommendation to take Noni fruit pills to rid my intestines of the yeast. This is the latest "miracle" fruit. There are some wild claims on the internet that it fixes all sorts of ailments (I can't seem to find a list that says it clears up yeast).....sound like a miracle tonic to you? The humorous part that day was watching Dr Camp stumble his way through my ailments. He mentioned symptoms I've had in the past and spoke of them as though I still have them. Most of the stuff he mentioned were things I had surgery for last year. If I still had them now, I'd be in pretty bad shape! Some he didn't even get right. He made some derogatory comments toward "typical Marin County residents" being whiney and weak, which struck me odd since I assume being in Mill Valley, that's who most of his customers/patients are. He sent me on my way that day with some overpriced supplements (ex, Vitamin D $20 ($8.99 on Amazon), Dr Ohhira probiotics $125 ($84.99 on Amazon), etc...) Not to mention the miracle Noni Fruit extract to cure my supposed yeast infection (with something that isn't even advertised for doing that). Another item he sold me was powdered charcoal. He claimed it would detox my insides and to take it twice a day. That is a claim with no clinical research support. What is known is that you will not absorb many nutrients while ingesting the charcoal because it will absorb the nutrients and you will pass them. He recommended I take that stuff for a month and warned that I'd feel some flu like symptoms and to be sure to call his office staff. Of course I would feel sick if I'd taken that stuff. I guess that's his deal, make you feel really bad for a month, then pick you back up to your normal level again so you think he's worked a miracle. Read the other reviews carefully as some sound like they're written by office staff. I received a call from their staff about a week ago offering me a refund and making mention of this Yelp review. I wish I'd read a review like this and saved my money. Learn your own lesson and go here or learn from my mistake. It will cost you big bucks and you'll end up at a real doctor anyway. I did. A quick round of antibiotics and I'm feeling good now...minus my rather light wallet. read more

I have worked with Dr. Camp for several years now. I had recurrent UTIs (miserable for anyone). Other doctors had recommended taking levoquin or cipro consistently. I disliked being so dependent on antibiotics. Dr. Camp targeted the root cause, and now I can't remember the last time I had a UTI. Since I was a teenager, I have been diagnosed as being hypothyroid. I began seeing Rhonda for neuroptimal Neurofeedback for a ADHD, anxiety and excessive worry, and chronic pain and came across her professional services through a special that involved 2 sessions a week for a month, and I have to say that it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made! After seeing her for Neurofeedback, I sleep so much more peacefully, there is a sense of calm and quietness in my day (even in "high stress" situations); I don't find myself overthinking things as much; I even found that I desire coffee much less! I was skeptical at first about Prolotherapy, but after being treated by Dr. Camp, I highly recommend it. I'm actually kind of amazed that something apparently innocuous, could be so effective, considering what I was faced with - Knee surgery and weeks, if not months of therapy. Not to mention, the cost. I've had years of recurring pain in both knees, due to a deterioration of the meniscus ligaments. After seeing several orthopedists, an MRI, and basically hearing the same thing from everyone - I was faced with either; cortisone treatments or surgery, and I basically decided to just suffer through it until I had no choice but to do something. Coincidentally, at around the same time, I was seeing Dr. Camp for optimal health work (which I also recommend him for), and he noticed a slight limp. He discussed Prolotherapy with me, and I decided to give it a try as I had always had favorable results with our working together, and I trusted him.
