    Galley kitchen

Spent a weekend at TT, one full day was spent at Gilroy gardens, which is only 13 minutes away. They have bacci, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, mini golf, playground and a huge pool. The campground is very dusty and they have many extended stay campers/members who seem like tenants. The staff communication is abrasive and questions are met with a very condescending tone. Be aware there is no store on site, which is inconvenient and a missed opportunity for them. If you've forgotten anything or run out of anything you'll need to drive a ways to pick it up. No hot tub, but the pool is huge and has a bathroom on site. We stayed in a TT cabin, which advertised it could sleep 4. That is a joke. The futon is miniature only 3x4.5 feet and hard as a rock. In reality it could sleep a family of 3 and not comfortably. It does have a galley kitchen with toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans and silverware + gas stove and fridge/freezer, which was not advertised, and a pleasant surprise. They also provide linens and bath towels. We had fun but are really looking forward to sleeping in our own beds. On the fence if we would return, but we would definitely not rent the TT cabin again. *note that we paid $211 a night and were expected to sweep and take out the trash. If they deem our clean unsatisfactory we are subject to a $150 cleaning fee on top of what we have already paid.

This is an Encore Thousand Trails location. Trash. Front gate (who claims "campground ranger") person is incredibly rude. I think she's the owner but I'm not totally certain. Makes you feel like you're a criminal with very aggressive interrogation and proof of paperwork demands. We had everything and still she was aggressive and condescending. It's been this way every single interaction (close to a dozen - no it's not our choice to come here but a family member keeps insisting "I'm sure it'll be better next time" - never again). I could make this a five page review with all the awful details of this "resort". The location in Morgan Hill is amazing but the park itself is run down. It's basic infrastructure (power, water pressure, cell service, etc) needs significant improvement. Shade is hard to come by in the sites. I'll give partial credit that some of the staff are actually quite great and delightful. They try hard but are really up against terrible odds. If you are otherwise independent adults with no children and you have no other place to choose? You'll be fine'ish. If you don't fit that picture, I'd strongly recommend going elsewhere. But the worst part? After this last gate interaction I read more reviews and found something alarming which I then researched myself. There are two registered sex offenders LIVING at this location as of the date of this review. Look it up yourselves, but do NOT harass the individuals - that's not the point of my mention here. Harassment is completely unacceptable. I want other parents to be aware of the risk that I had no idea of before (shame on me for that). I would have never thought that an RV resort would be something to verify - my bad entirely.

Window would not stay open so we used a cutting board.

Do they have firepits? or can you bring your own.

Is there a limit to the age of your motor home?

If u go on the website it tells u the safety standards and requirements for the Rv. It's not so much the age it's the safety condition that it's in it's can't be a danger to anyone nor be on its last balled tire, u get my point.

Here are some pros and cons. Pro's: Spaces are large with plenty of room for the RV plus two cars. No light pollution is really nice for star gazing. Full hookups are nice. Easy check-in and out. Nice little walking trail by the creek. Overall very quiet with occasional road noise but not much at all. They also will fill your propane and drop it off after you drop off to them. Lots of trees which is probably great in the summer. Cons: Full timers give the RV park a different feel, there's none of that fellow camaraderie you find at most RV parks. Many full timers have sheds and storage of their belongings outside their RVs and makeshift porches that give the place a run down feel. Gravel sites could use some upgrades as ours had a deep hole that could have been an ankle twister so we had to keep a chair over it so we didn't step in it. No picnic tables here which is a first for us. No other amenities besides the restrooms and laundry room which we did not see. Only one garbage location at main entrance. Overall decent place and better than Thousand Trails down the way IMO. Plenty of room and spacious spaces. I would probably stay here again if in a pinch.

At night you hear nothing but the occasional animal sounds...a great break from reality from the hustle and bustle of the work world in San Jose. During the day, pretty much the same, I almost feel guilty talking to my daughter outside and making noise that may disturb someone....it is colder right now, so that may change in the summer, but either way, I kind of like the peace and quiet. The place is surrounded by beautiful green hills in the springtime and is close to town, yet surrounded by nature, a perfect blend. I was able to get a great spot that is somewhat private with privacy fencing and the lot is not too big and not too small (have a 32ft and could fit another 32ft right next to it and still have room. A little worried that new managers are coming in, so we'll see how that goes, but so far so good! The only downside is the cell service, but the manager let me know to turn my phone to wi-fi calling which worked, the only bad thing is I still don't get text messages...not too much of a deal since I don't really text, but I do miss an occasional work text. The washers and dryers are fairly inexpensive in relation to neighboring laundromats, which is helpful. One of least expensive parks in the area which is very appreciated in this over-inflated area. Overall, no major concerns, I would recommend this place to others who may be looking.

The infestation was so severe that we had to buy our own ant spray, lost well over $100 in food, and are now bringing ants home in our RV. What was most frustrating wasn't just the ants--it was how the situation was handled. We were told that the 140 sites are "really a problem." Later, however, when speaking to the owner she claimed they weren't aware of an ant problem. Those two statements don't line up. We talked with a few of the long-term residents around us and they all have ant problems. The management seems to want to keep it quiet by intimidating long-term residents and staff. When we asked for some reasonable accommodation, even just a refund for a couple of nights, there was no willingness to work with us. Instead, we were told the ants were probably already in our RV and were advised to Google how to get rid of them. By doing our own investigation with the people who were parked around us, obviously, this was a known problem and the owner was flat-out lying. We weren't looking for a free vacation. We were looking for a business to stand behind its guests when something clearly went wrong. Even refunding one night would have shown good faith. It's unfortunate because we've enjoyed staying here in the past. But after this experience, and the complete lack of customer service afterward, we can't recommend staying here until the ant and customer service issues are addressed.
