I saw Dr Taylor for 2+ years and had several surgeries done by him. Unfortunately, my case is outside of his specialty (RVE) and he advised after my last surgery that if it doesn't work, he doesn't know what else he could do for me, so I have reached the point where I need to consult with an Endo specialist surgeon(s). I really appreciate Dr Taylor's candidness, willingness to listen, and his ability to admit when something was outside of his realm of expertise. As a side note, the office does do everything manually (no MyChart, email, etc) which makes things less convenient and there is usually a substantial wait for appointments, but otherwise you're in good hands! read more

I made an appointment for a culposcopy with Dr. Taylor after I was told it was going to be 7 months before I could see the doctor I was referred to. I was absolutely shocked to see the facility when I walked in. It looked more like a back alley clinic. Half of the forms had handwritten places to sign and it was PACKED in a tiny room. My regular doc is at the main Providence facility, so I expected it to be similar since this is also Providence. Dr. Taylor is a butcher. I have never in my life undergone such excruciating pain during a culpo. I have 10 tattoos and a very high pain threshold and was begging him to stop. At one point, I almost passed out and his response was, "just pass out, you're on a table." When I asked how long the extreme pain would go he said "I don't know" and looked at the nurse. There was absolutely NO bedside manner or consideration of the fact that if a 40 year old woman is writhing in pain, something might be wrong. 7 hours later, I'm still in immense pain. read more

I've had about a dozen pelvic/laparoscopic surgeries in the past 15-20 years. Never have I had a surgeon as unprofessional and dismissive as Dr. Taylor. I should have paid more attention to my initial impression during our 5 minute consult where I drove 35 minutes, waited in the small, cramped, crowded waiting room for 45 minutes past my apt time to basically have him tell me he does this sort of thing all the time and it will all be fine and then shooed me out after 5 minutes. Surgery day rolled around and after it was over, he, nor anyone from the surgical team, came to brief my husband or myself on how it went. I assumed all was fine since I was discharged that same day but I couldn't get any information on how the procedure went aside from the hospital nurses in recovery reading something off a post-it that was all medical jargon we didn't understand. I called his office post surgery and left at least 2 messages. No one called me back. Even when one of the messages was that I was miserable with a strong allergic reaction to the surgical glue and needed advice on what to do. The final straw was during my 2 week follow up apt. Drove 40 minutes to sit for 45 minutes in a very crowded/loud waiting room past my apt time for him to come in, and basically throw a piece of paper at me that apparently had the surgery post opp report and the biopsy results of the stuff they took out. When I asked him how it went he literally said "I don't know. I don't remember. I do a lot of these. But it looks like it was hard on paper." When I asked him about the colon repair the post opp report said he did, again he was dismissive and said "yeah that probably happened but that's why people come to me because I can do those on the spot." He could have read the paper he tossed at me and translated the medical jargon into actual words I could understand about my procedure. But he didn't. He just said he didn't remember because he is so busy. I tried to ask him other questions I had but after 5 minutes of dismissing those with "everyone heals at different paces so give it 2 months and it will all be better," he basically went over and opened the door for me to leave. He seriously kicked me out after 5 minutes. I had to put the post opp report into Chat GPT so it could explain to me what happened and what was done. THAT was more effective than Dr. Taylor post -opp. I've had a LOT of experiences with talented surgeons in my life and I have never had one as dismissive and unprofessional as Dr. Taylor. This may not have been memorable to him but it was a big deal for me and his shockingly horrible bedside manner was uncalled for and unacceptable. read more

Dr Taylor seems very nice however the office is awful. The front desk staff are incredibly rude. The hold music when you call basically tells you you have cancer. They try to convince you something is wrong when it is not. And BEWARE, they will charge you $420.00 if you phone in for your results. Overall horrible and horrific experience. RESPONSE - Trust me I wish I wasn't your patient but I was. I have called your office many times, no one is helpful at all. I asked many many times exactly how much everything would cost and was lied to the entire time. I paid my co pay in the office and was sent a bill for 5 times that amount. I will never come back to this office again and encourage others to avoid it. read more

Not sure about the Dr, but I tried multiple times in the day to reach this office staff just to schedule a basic appointment AND ABSOLUTELY NO ONE WILL PICK UP THE PHONE. They place you on hold immediately with no hello, then you will be on hold for about 5 minutes for it ring again and get placed on hold again. When they pick up the phone you can literally hear the people talking in the background. Be more professional for people. read more

There are no perfect words I can describe my experience with Dr Taylor. He promised me at my first appointment of meeting him I'd be ok and he was gonna take care of me, he kept his word. What my obgyn office couldn't do in almost 4 years,Dr Taylor did in less than 3 months. I had been in so much pain for a few years,thinking I'd have to live forever with the horrible pain i indured for so long. I was scared,had been to a few other Dr's offices for 2nd opinions that had just let me down.I had pretty much wanted to just stop trying and give up,till the last unpleasant Dr referred me to Dr Taylor which was a real blessing. The day I met Dr Taylor at my first appointment,it felt like home. I felt comfortable safe and a weight lifted off my shoulders. I had been scared for so long,but felt so happy after leaving his office. I new I was gonna be ok. Not long after our first appointment,I was scheduled for surgery. Dr Taylor made the process quick and easy without any complications like other offices had done to me. My new surgeon proved there really are good surgeon's that care about their patients. I was scared before surgery while being prepped,Dr Taylor came to talk with me,explained everything he would be doing and what would be happening during surgery.He comforted me and even gave me a hug. Dr Taylor his nursing staff charge nurse and Anesthesiologist were all good and so supportive to me. They all personally took the time to talk with me before surgery. They kept my kids updated most importantly. Surgery went smoothly with no complications. I hardly had any pain,just sorness. I was up walking around the next day with no pain and no help. I was even wanting to go to the gym a few days after,but Dr said no! 6-8 weeks recovery. I'm pain free with so much energy. I feel like a new person. Had my follow up with him,and everything was good thank god The last clinic that did my vaginal biopsy got more blood then the actual tissue Dr Taylor said. So with that being said,he said although it was showing negative no cancer, he wanted to retest to be sure I was ok. So blessed for that and he confirmed i was with no cancer I recommend Dr Taylor! He's the best! So much patience, takes his time to sit and talk about how you feel and answers questions of your concerns. I hadn't had a male Dr exam me in 26 years because my first male baby Dr scared me. Dr Taylor made me comfortable and feel safe. I was not scared at all like I was 26 years ago. He will always be my go to if me or my daughters ever have any issues. Dr Taylor will never disappoint you. He changed my life forever and I am greatful to him. Dr. Taylor is probably one of the best surgeons you can find for surgery for women. I know this, because everyone from surgical staff to nurses told be that "he is the best" and " you are in good hands." I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer, and my doctor sent me to Dr. Taylor for treatment. Dr. Taylor scheduled a hysterectomy, and I had it done in mid-July, 2022. The procedure was done with the Da Vinci machine, and took about an hour. They removed my uterus, ovaries and tubes, and checked the lymph nodes for spread. I had no pain, no nausea, no brain fog (these last two had been issues in an operation I had on my shoulder a few years ago). I was taking short walks a day after the operation, and met friends for lunch three days after the operation. Dr. Taylor and his staff were competent, friendly, upbeat and knowledgeable. I felt I was in excellent hands, and they never let me down - I even got a hug before the procedure! My prognosis is excellent - no follow-up treatment needed - but even if I'd needed further treatment, I would have been grateful to be in the care of Dr. Taylor. read more

Dr. Taylor was recommended to me because I was diagnosed with bilateral numerous ovarian cysts, elvated CA 125, endometriosis, and fibroids. Seems like a nice doctor, but doesn't fully listen to your issues. He prescribed me birth control to regulate my menstrual cycle since I was having irregular periods when I was already pregnant and I didn't know. I thought it wasn't possible since he told me I was not releasing eggs at all and to get pregnant, I'd have to take supplements. Took my birth control pills and felt extreme nausea, a side effect of the pill. Got an ultrasound done and told me I had a tiny cyst which I didn't even get to see until i picked up my records from his office since he didn't show me. I got a second opinion from a different doctor - no cyst but a fetus. Changed doctors completely and picked up my medical records from his office. His reports about my condition are inaccurate too as it was not the problems I told him I was experiencing. To top it off I had called his office several times to leave messages to talk to him about my pregnancy. Took 3 messages and 1 week for him to get back to me. In the end he told me my blood work was all fine and congratulations?! Seems very different from all my face to face visits with him. read more
