While recently having company, the pool pump did not turn on as scheduled. Hank had upgraded the…read morecircuit breaker for me late summer 2023 to ensure I had the best breaker for the pump. I called him earlier this week when the pump did not turn on. He was at the house within 15 minutes and did an isolation to see what was trigger the breaker to trip. He isolated that it was the pump and I was able to have my pool service come out. They confirmed that my less than one year old pump was faulty and they quickly replaced the pump. Within 24 hours everything was back to normal. The initial fast response by Hank was the reason. Hank also handles any new electric projects that I have. Thank you again Hank for your fast action!

Big mistake. 2 months and multiple follow-ups later, I had to call Edison township police department, and then, they called him. Only then did his guys show up and finish one critical part. He never finished the external light fixture, but did charge me in full for that. DO NOT HIRE HIM. Very bad. I also googled him after the fact, and found that he was arrested on some charges.

Mike and his guys came out almost everyday the first week, and seemed to have been progressing rapidly with their install. On the Friday of the week, we were informed that the job would be finished, and the remainder of the payment was due. I went into the house, and paid the remainder and was told that I would be receiving the receipt via email. That was September 1; today is September 25, and Mike has seemingly disappeared, and we never did get that receipt. The HVAC was not completely installed, as the machines do not produce heat, but we can't get Mike to come back out to finish. Do yourself a favor, and don't get scammed. Do not hire AJR Mechanical LLC.
