The center weight and chain fell from the movement of the clock. He was supposed to put the chain and weight back on. When he did the weight was off centered and the clock did not work. He stated I needed a new movement for the clock. By the way his service charge and travel charge was independent of each other. Which turned out to be very expensive. Finally I got another clock shop to look at my clock. The serviceman found out, the chain was put on incorrectly. That's why the weight was off centered and the clock did not work. He also stated there was nothing wrong with the movement. By the way buyer beware, I recently spoke to this man about the service, of course he denied putting the chain on wrong. He also stated he was recommended by the Howard Miller Co. I called the Howard Miller Company and informed them of the service I received from this company. Please read before selecting a company.
