He complained multiple times about how much he works and how he was so excited to only have an hour and a half left until he was off. Took over an hour to pick out pieces of a suit because he kept running off to take care of people who came in after us (most of which I had to pick out as he tried to give up on finding a size that would fit for pants, shirt, and vest. It felt like he was just grabbing whatever was closest (tried to give us a large shirt when a 3x fit the vest????) When we finally got a suit together he typed it in the computer and said we couldn't get one piece. Told us he'd go grab his tablet to see what he could do then went and helped someone else. We walked out and got much better service at Dillards.

The Men's Warehouse sales person declined our business as we entered their premises - because we were fully vaccinated and not wearing masks. We promptly said 'have a nice evening' as we exited. The couple who came in after us had the exact same experience. We took our business to Belk's across the street and bought his suits today. Their sales team was more than happy to help us and Belk's even ordered pants with the suit coats to send direct to our home with free shipping. BTW, the couple who also left TMW after we did, was also shopping at Belk's and buying a suit there too. They were in line behind us with a beautiful grey suit at check out. To the management at TMW....just FYI, the CDC has recommended masks not be worn if you are vaccinated. Follow the science....

So, naturally when my dad was after a few polos and some pants, we loaded up and headed for Belk in Ashley Park. Between the two of us, we were able to scoop up a 3 polos, 2 button-ups, three pair of jeans, a pair of socks and a t-shirt that totaled about $350. Not the cheapest, but I was good with it. The majority of cost came from the jeans, which had lackluster sales honestly. Speaking of sales, Belk is usually pretty good at having sales worth checking out. Outside of a pair of jeans, I do not think I have paid full price for anything else at Belk. As echoed in many other reviews, the service is a bit lacking here. We walked by or were passed by a number of associates that never spoke a word to us and while the cashier was efficient, she was less than up for conversation outside of the Belk credit card. Overall, I do not mind this Belk location. I come here for the goods, not the conversation, but they could work on that part to make the full experience a bit better.

She pointed out the ripped return policy sticker on the counter - like I stop and read stickers on the countertops? Belk will no longer get any business from me. They literally know my parents on sight and say hello by name and they will no longer shop here either. Too many other places to spend our money.
