The studio is clean and organized. It has a nice clean changing room and John supplied the coffee. While talking, John told me that his specialty has been taking photographs for attorneys handling personal injury cases. He has branched out and opened this studio in Waltham, which is located really close to 128 and the Mass Pike. The woman behind the desk said that's what I had asked for. But that wasn't what I asked for. So then I had to spend more money to get those negatives developed into pictures. I think some avid photographers just want negatives for some reason, but I can't imagine most people don't want prints. I didn't even know you could only get negatives from a roll of film. She, as the professional, made an error in judgment by not assuming when I asked for my photos to be developed - like I always had in the past as a repeat customer - that I wanted prints. She wasn't remotely apologetic. I won't go back.
