We're poor as dirt and we had to put my grampa in this home. They never hurt him or stole from him. He died a pretty happy old dude.

This is such a wonderful place. My wife found this place after long hours, days, of researching…read more This place is a complete change from where she was staying before. The rooms are clean. My wife's grandmother smells nice. There are nurses constantly checking on her and they are very informative. My wife and my Mother in law asked me to sit in with them for a meeting they have every three months. I did not speak much. I just listened to the nurse and the head administrator explain how things were going with her grandmother. Medications she's taking, her progress, etc. I am relieved. My wife had been stressing about finding a good place for her grandmother. So if she's stressed, well all the husbands know, than I'm stressed. Lol. Anyway, this place is full of life. I started to take pictures, but I was not allowed to take pictures of the residents, I was told by a nurse, but they had no problem with me taking pictures of anything else. It was for the protection of the residents, which I totally understand. Good for them, protecting the identity of the residents. Everyone there seems so happy. They even have a beauty salon in the home!!! They have activities and they encourage the residents to do whatever they want. They don't force them, they let them go at there own pace. I am relieved. When I saw grandma sleeping, snoring, lol, I knew everything was going to be alright. Oh and I asked some questions about employment tenure. Almost all of the workers there have been working for the nursing home for 10 years+! That's a great sign, because you don't stay at a job that long if your not happy. Thank you for taking care of our grandmother.

From Administration to Nursing to Maintenance Staff, everyone is helpful and kind. The facility is always clean and a great effort is made to make sure the residents are happy and well cared for. I definitely recommend this facility as it gives you peace of mind knowing your loved one is in great hands.

We couldn't have done it without help from Sisters Care!…read more Our mother broke her ankle and needed inpatient rehab after the surgery to repair it. She is also in stage 5 Alzheimer's dementia and had a very bad reaction to the anesthesia used during the surgery; a very common side effect for those with dementia. Family members and friends were by her side all day and evening, but we didn't have anyone who could be there at night. Mom was having extremely vivid nightmares and would be very upset when she woke up in the middle of the night disoriented and feeling an urgent need to get out of bed and run away! Sisters Care from The Village at Incarnate Word provided the overnight coverage for us. The "angels" who helped Mom were able to reorient and help her to calm down so she could go back to sleep. They also kept her from walking on her broken ankle before it was sufficiently healed. I wish I could mention each of our caregivers directly.... I waited far too long to submit this review and have forgotten the names, but not the kindness, peace of mind, respite and quality care they gave our family and friends so we could be there to support Mom! #homecare #inhomecare #qualitycare #seniorcare #SistersCareCaregiving #TheVillageAtIncarnateWord

Onboarding was seemless and stress free. We explained moms level of dementia and a "story" to go along with. Mom was getting a "personal assistant" once a week for companionship and shopping for any of her personal needs. The care givers were so kind! No pressure...just friendship. It was the perfect situation for mom. Thank you Sisters Care! xxx

The En-Su-Casa caregiver has worked with my parents for nearly two years. She has helped keep my parents' home clean and prepares nutritious meals for them as well. She also accompanies my parents to doctor's appointments and errands. And she only is with them a total of about 20 hours a week! The caregiver isn't the only great thing about En Su Casa. The staff is professional, resourceful, and communicative. At the onset of our working with them, they provided us all of the information that we needed to be able to choose them among other service provides. And since then, they are always available to us, especially during emergencies. Because of En Su Casa, my parents have been able to stay in their home and not go into an assisted living facility. Though, when it is time for that transition, I trust En Su Casa to provide me with counsel. The staff know the business, and I trust them. I'll add that it took a few caregivers to find the right fit--a total of three--but even those individuals who ended up not staying with my parents acted in a professional manner. I highly recommend En Su Casa to anyone.
