Beware!!!! If you have an issue with them they will screw you over and take well over a month to even respond. I have emails showing it's been over a month and still no answers or resolution. I asked for it to be escalated past the district manager over 2 weeks ago and not a single response since. read more

Susan and her staff were excellent! I was extremely stressed out about my move and Susan really helped ease the process. She was extremely patient with me and accommodating when it came to providing the moving truck. I even had some problems going back to the storage unit later that night, and she still found a way to make sure I could load more items into my storage--regardless of the hours. Great storage facility offering climate controlled storage. We found it to be very secure and the staff was courteous and professional. They also have a box truck you can rent for $39 for half day that is very helpful. read more

I stored my items at the facility on retail dr in SC I had so many problems with this store once the new manager Amy took over, she's rude and hateful. She lies and cheats customers, I've had to go over her head several times because she was stealing my payments ( I have proof that she stole it and they had to refund me my money) I got tired of her fraudulent ways I decided to get my things out and when I went someone had urinated on all of my things, rats where in the locker( took photos) and several items where missing, I lost most of my things and when I went to file a claim with the insurance company they force you to pay for every month they told me since animals had gotten in it voided the insurance. So for two years I paid for insurance that once I needed it was worthless. I spoke with the district manager Mr. Southerland and he was no help either, he offered ( only after me posting the photos of rats in my things) $500 for a whole locker full of things two flat screens, faux fur costs, a fridge and deep freezer medical equipment and much more ruined and this company doesn't care. I'm sickened! read more

I had my belongings in a storage unit in Fort Mill, SC just up the road from the Morningstar Carowinds location and their customer service was terrible and every time it rained my unit flooded. I came to Morningstar and it was a little more money, but their customer service is second to none, and their units were clean, the area outside was well maintained and I got to use their moving truck for free! I can not say enough good about this storage facility! Well worth the little extra money! And just an FYI Morningstar your staff at this facility is amazing! Diego and the Manager there are two great assets to Morningstar! read more

Stay away from Morning Star Storage Fort Mill. As we were moving into our new home, our movers found that our storage unit was infested with fire ants. Thousands of ants set up in our boxes in back of unit. We did not store any type of food in storage . We also used Pods to store and had great experience with them without a issue. Stick with Pods or a climate controlled storage facility. read more

I love Morningstar storage in Ft. Mill (Indian Land area). Sheryl is absolutely amazing and has been a great help to me and my family. Our home closing has been moved several times, and Sheryl and team have been nothing but accommodating. When deliveries arrive, they open the space and call me. I am so glad that I chose them for our storage needs. They have turned a terrible situation into a more manageable one. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Very clean also! The person Sharon M. that wrote the first rating is a liar, as Morningstar in Ft. Mill just opened at the end of 2016. Her review was written in 2015. I had such a great experience with Morningstar Storage in Fort Mill. Susan and Diego were awesome. Diego showed me around the facility - which was beautiful. The facility is very nice and clean. They have so many units. Diego showed me indoor (climate controlled) and outdoor units. The facility has carts for people to utilize. This was the most pleasant experience I've ever had with a storage company. They have particular locks you have to purchase... cylinder locks, but you could use them elsewhere in the future with the purchase of a certain latch... I am looking to see where you can purchase those. Overall I had a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this facility. Thank you. read more
