Honestly, I can't say enough good things and since the purpose of this review is for people who are considering rental storage space here I will break it down into categories I have been most impressed with so far. 1. CONVENIENCE: The process to reserve my space online was so effortless and quick. It was easier than ordering a pizza. In fact, it was so easy that I thought to myself there had to be a catch. 2. CUSTOMER SERVICE: This might not be very important to you, but good customer service is something that I haven't experienced with previous storage companies so I was delighted with how I was treated from the moment I reserved my units online. A few hours after I made my reservation, I received a call to confirm my move-in date and to welcome me to Public Storage. When I arrived on move-in day, Elena had my paperwork ready, didn't try to upsell me anything, and explained everything in detail about my contract. She went with me to view the two units I had reserved to make sure that it would work for me, and then told me that if I preferred to just have one unit that a larger unit had just come open and it would be the same price as the two units I had reserved. I was ecstatic because I had wanted this size but it had not been available on the day that I made my reservation. 3. SECURITY/CLEANLINESS/CLIMATE: I have acquired some nice things over the years and have heard plenty of horror storage tales from other people. The security at every point in the complex is impressive. I have never been in another climate controlled storage building that is kept as immaculate as the one in which my unit is located. The lighting is more than adequate and the temperature and humidity gives me great piece of mind that my belongings aren't going to rot. All in all, if this is a convenient place for you to store your stuff then I would not hesitate to use this location.

Who runs a business like that???

Been renting the unit for a year or two. 10'x10' unit started off paying around $80 including insurance they require. About two years later, they raised the fee twice and I'm now paying $135/mo. The first raise, they said they were making updates to units. They added new locks to the doors for added security. From office staff was nice when I did interact with them. Not a bad place to rent from, just not happy about how much the monthly cost increased. Moving my stuff to a storage place closer to my house and cheaper, although I'm sure the new place will raise their fees as well.

Climate control works and I never feel unsafe going here even at night knowing that I'm on camera and everything is gated. They have several different size units from ones you can fit RVs inside to the small ones with offices where you can run your small business they also have climate controlled and not climate controlled to meet your needs when I found them. They were the best price in the area and I randomly check to make sure that I'm not missing a deal somewhere else and they still continue to beat everyone in the area.

A friend recommended I try Morningstar Storage, so I decided to give them a chance. When I got there I was welcomed by Ashanti, who poor thing was about to take her lunch! Had I not been in such a hurry I would have come back at a later time, but I truly needed to unload my car! She was so gracious about the inconvenience, and took real good care of me! Showed me a few options for different sizes so I could the right one! Walked me through the rates that happened to be great as they currently have specials on all of their units! She got me all signed up, and out the door in record time! I even offered to get her her lunch for cutting into her lunch time and even though she declined I appreciate how efficient she was! I highly recommend, this storage facility, they are climate controlled and offer insurance! Keep in mind you do need to pay for admin fess and potentially a lock, so don't get sticker shocked on your first months rent! It should be a one time thing so don't worry! Why am I giving them money just to not be able to move my things. Ridiculous to have units but not have carts. I also witnessed another couple trying to find one as well. We both ended up leaving frustrated.

I signed a move out notice a few weeks prior to my move out. I was scheduled to be out of my unit by May 31st. I moved out of the facility but because my lock was removed on 6/1, the facility charged me another month's rent. You would think after being a good paying customer over the past years (between myself and co-worker) I'd receive decent customer service but this was not the case. After calling to get an understanding of why I'm being charged for an additional month, Susan said I needed to read the fine print of my close out form. If you're in our community of Katy, I'd advise you to take your business somewhere else where people have great customers service and look to help solve problems....not scam you on the fine print.
