Moving? I know so daunting! After living in a place for almost a decade, I found myself needing to move, and like always you realize you have way more stuff than you care to admit!! A friend recommended I try Morningstar Storage, so I decided to give them a chance. When I got there I was welcomed by Ashanti, who poor thing was about to take her lunch! Had I not been in such a hurry I would have come back at a later time, but I truly needed to unload my car! She was so gracious about the inconvenience, and took real good care of me! Showed me a few options for different sizes so I could the right one! Walked me through the rates that happened to be great as they currently have specials on all of their units! She got me all signed up, and out the door in record time! I even offered to get her her lunch for cutting into her lunch time and even though she declined I appreciate how efficient she was! I highly recommend, this storage facility, they are climate controlled and offer insurance! Keep in mind you do need to pay for admin fess and potentially a lock, so don't get sticker shocked on your first months rent! It should be a one time thing so don't worry! You have 24/7 access as they provide gate codes for you! Go pay Ashanti a visit and get yourself a nice clean storage unit! read more

Do not rent here. They charge close to a $100 for smaller units and on top of that they claim there are carts by the elevators which is only three and whenever I stop by the there is not one cart in sight. Why am I giving them money just to not be able to move my things. Ridiculous to have units but not have carts. How are people supposed to move their items without getting a back injury or breaking a sweat. Last time I was here I spent 15 minutes just walking around trying to find a cart on the property. I also witnessed another couple trying to find one as well. We both ended up leaving frustrated. read more

Rented unit online for move today I get to the facility and my code will not work I get an error saying access was suspended????? No number to call customer service to try to get access aware the office is closed today . I'm off on Sundays only so now I have to keep my things inside my car for the rest of the week because I do not have access!!! Ashanti and her staff are excellent. They make sure all your needs are taken care of. They also have a moving truck free of charge going and coming return the truck in good condition and replace the gas you use it doesn't get any better than that. The hours are awesome. The verdict is still out on the new owners. The prices kept going up on my storage unit with the last owners I hope this changes. I haven't had any issues with my unit since the new owners have taken over. They did require me show rental insurance which the last owner did not require. The property is always clean and well maintained. I do think they need more push carts for moving items in and out of storage. Otherwise the place is ok and the staff is friendly. read more

The 5 star reviews that you see are all written by the office. The manager Ashanti and her associate are extremely rude and disrespectful. In May/June of 2025, I came to the office to resolve a discrepancy with the pricing on the website. Ashanti the manager, immediately attacked me slammed a bottle of water down in my face, pointed her finger in my face, and started to behave erratically like someone who is manic. Her associate has a similar attitude but less confrontational. Due to her behavior, I tried to reach out to corporate and the complaint was rerouted back to her. She gave me a month off but after that I was unable to use the elevator. Every time I come to the storage it somehow doesn't work. However, they never send customers a notice explaining that it is out of service they just lie and say it's working when you come. Today July 1, 2025 an associate walks out the elevator as she sees me about to move some things in and doesn't bother to tell me it's not working. When I came into the office to ask why it's not working they start huffing and puffing saying it does work and then it went from " It does work" to "it needs to be reset". So they let me up the stairs. I asked Ashanti to clarify what the issue was with the elevator again and she couldn't help herself but to be rude and aloof. My main concern is that there is no accountability chain here and I will not continue spending my hard earned dollars with a business that allows their employees to project their trauma and anger onto paying customers. They are not accredited with BBB which shows they avoid complaints. However, I will be following up with the Attorney General because if I come to retrieve or move things, and I am unable to, this is a breach of contract. Tonight, I received a fake text message from an alleged manager and I will continue documenting and attempting to locate someone in the company. I won't tolerate anyone's disrespect where I pay my money. It's a shame that the people who always seem to work in customer service always have issues with controlling their emotions. Although the units are nice and the property seems safe it's a shame that ever since Morningstar storage was acquired by Community storage it's been nothing but problems. All customer service went out of the window when Morningstar took over! The manager Jennifer Thomas has absolutely no people skills and is extremely unprofessional, rude and has nasty attitude. She also is racist based on an interaction I had with her. I will be moving my business elsewhere to a company that actually values my business and respects me as a customer. I'll be experience with everyone- - Don't do business here if you care to be treated with respect! read more
