    Terrible customer service. Picked up a U-Haul Van from this location to move 2 pieces of furniture for my son after getting an online quote for $40.65 including a mileage allowance of 30 miles. Arrived at 10 am when they opened and was the second customer assisted. Employee that assisted me connected a trailer for the first guest and then brought my rental around to the front. As he exited the vehicle I pointed out damage on the side of the van and he stated "yes, we know about that" and proceeded to walk back inside. No walk around, no paperwork (he said all paperwork would be emailed to me), no mileage or fuel level verification - nothing. I took a photo of the odometer at 10:14 am as I left the facility for my records. The van was returned at approximately 1 pm, and I informed the employee the mileage used was less than estimated, to which he said there would then be a credit made to the original amount quoted (drove a total of 17 miles). Two hours later I get an email receipt for $113.64, nearly 3 times the original quote, which included an extended rental rate of $89 and 118 miles driven. I called and the employee said he needed photo proof of the odometer when I left, which I sent. A few minutes later he sent a text stating he needed to see the time stamp on the photo for proof of the time, which I also sent. When I said I needed it fixed today he said they were then closed and it would have to be in the morning. I then asked for the manager's name and he said she wouldn't be then then until Tuesday, but I could call customer service. The number he provided for customer service went to a medical device company, not U-Haul. I'm not sure if it is a process issue with this U-Haul location, or a job performance problem with the 2 employees dealt with but I will definitely avoid this location in the future. Will now likely spend 30 minutes on the phone from my office tomorrow or Tuesday to get their error fixed. Horrible overall experience and lack of respect for my time.
