I had enough money to get a free tank of gas and there was no one in the customer service area to help us. A lot of customers were very upset that they couldn't go inside to make a transaction. Don't walk away from your car when pumping gas!!! When it get hot out the Sensors on the pump go out and it's will Overflow and MONOGO won't refund your money !!!!! Yesterday after a few hrs at the eat and gambling at the casino, I put gas at the Morongo gas station right next store, I diver a jeep and it only holds 13 Gallons and walked away to leave out my car and the gas put never stop and over Flowed to 21 gallons, The gas pump never stopped and I got gas all my arm, face and leg because it never stopped, I reported it to the Officer that was there and called An attendant to clean up the Massive overflowed gas on the floor. When the attendant check the pump, he pushed it with his hand and gas was still coming out. The officer then took me to the upper Level to speak attended. IMPORTANT! This is the LOWER gas station that's just that, a gas station only. the convivence store is closed. If all you want is gas, than this is all you need. If you want food, restrooms, car wash, and maybe a little more casino action, then you need to up the hill a little further. With that, the gas here is pretty cheap, even compare to other Native Americans gas stations I've seen. It's easier to get in and out of than the bigger one up top. This is a place to stop for gas because they don't gouge you. And they have a ton of pumps. But you know there can be a little wait because it's just that great of a stop. They have clean restrooms. It's one of those multipurpose stops because they have a great little shop inside. And security to keep an eye out. Across the way are more restrooms. For a well advertised place, the area is a dump. The Morongo's roadways are full of cracks and need maintenance. I used the gas station reluctantly because of the store and cashier being unavailable (closed at 6:00 pm on a Thursday). I will never go there again after I was notified that someone fraudulently tapped into my gas transaction to try stealing from my debit card. I thought a there would be better security at a casino gas station. Also when I walked out of the Coldstones, a man was throwing up right in front of me. They stole my money! I went to pump gas and when the pump wouldn't pump I went back in to inquire why? The lady said that I told her the wrong pump and that someone already pumped my gas. And then she refused to change to the correct pump or return my money. I then asked to speak to a manager who just sided with her employees. Then their security guards told me that it was a civil matter and they would not return my money. They obviously think they can get away with such shady dealings. Another gentleman had the same issue in the time I was there talking with the unbelievably rude unprofessional staff. Avoid this shady operation, I definitely will. read more

This place gets busy AF. It's the only gas station from like cabazon to Palm Springs and it's right by the casino / the 10. The gas here is sometimes a bit cheaper than like the Arco (in Banning). Sometimes the lines can get pretty long, but it's better to wait an extra like 10-15 minutes instead of running out of gas and being stranded. This is absolutely the worst service ever in a gas station. I waited in line and I gave the cashier my money for my gas. They never put the gas on the pump. I drive A LOT! Morongo gas station is big, convenient (right off the freeway), and usually cheaper than most gas stations around Beaumont, Banning and Palm Springs. Sure, making the tribe richer but good for them for having an easy to use and cheap gas station. It's clean, they have free water and air (most places make you pay $0.75 these days for air!!) and a car wash. First pump I pulled up to was totally out of order. Second pump had a broken reader. This was after fighting the HUGE lines of cars trying to get in here. The store person wasn't exactly helpful or friendly when trying to figure out the solution to the broken reader. And then to top it off, the pump was really slow. On my second time here, all the gas had been shut off completely, no idea why. Wasted a trip off the highway through the weird roundabout where a local tribal cop cut me off. I have said Hi and Bye on multiple occasions with no response, the cashiers just continue to hold their previous conversation after they confirm what you want (they are super busy always). It may be because it is a sovereign nation, and a 24/7 highly trafficked truck stop but common courtesy goes a great ways... It was $2.43 a gallon for reg. Unleaded and i know at any arco in so cal it is at least $2.60 and your shell's and chevron's forget about it.. Grab yourself some Lucas Fuel System cleaner at every 3k Miles and there is no reason not to purchase gas this cheap.... Oh, and Half off your car wash purchase if you get 8+ Gallons of Gasoline.. Their car wash does not have the cloth spinners though they are those traditional plastic ones that spin and clean so if you are super protective about your paint job just a head up. Also, You can only purchase I do believe $80 at a time at the pump with card so if you want to fill up, and your tank is on the larger side, things can get tricky and irritating.. read more
