The entire process of gathering quote to receiving delivery of my vehicle took about 5-6 days in totality. I received about seven quotes from companies on Yelp. Orange Auto Transport was the most affordable at $525. This was to transport my car from Los Angeles, CA to San Francisco, CA. I got a few others around $550. The highest was $750. I scheduled a pick up on 8/27. My car was assigned to driver the following morning. They gave me an estimated pick up time of 3-5 PM. They picked it up evening of 8/28 around 6:15 PM. My vehicle was delivered directly to my apartment in my assigned parking space in SF, around 11:15 AM. Would recommend. They offer competitive prices. My car was handled well. I requested my vehicle to be shipped around 3 weeks in advance and was passive aggressively told this was too early and not "industry standard" after I received order confirmation. It wasn't until 5 days before needing my car shipped that I received an email saying that my price needed to be increased $300 due to conflicts in the Middle East (which I completely understand how that affects a car shipping company's costs). However it is wrong to expect established customers with confirmed and agreed upon orders to make up for costs due to current issues. I tried to communicate with Tiffany and was pretty much given a copy and paste of the previous email sent to me regarding my, again, already confirmed price needing to increase $300. This was all around very dismissive and I ended up cancelling my order entirely due to the disrespect I felt I received from this company. Turns out, the new company I decided to use explained that it's best practice to schedule 10-30 in advance (which I did). It's also worth mentioning that this company explained that a "common warning sign" of industry scams is requesting zelle, which this company does! This time they contracted with Diesel Auto Express (another review) and, though Diesel Auto took care of us, the pick-up communication process did not go as well.
