I was so excited when I got a call to schedule, and the entire experience was efficient and so very thoughtful. Dr. Arnold managed to find appointments for me super quickly (to take advantage of my mom being in town visiting) and speaking with her about the things that I struggled with felt like home -- for the first time in my entire life, somebody saw me and understood me and validated my experiences. After having such a profound experience in my assessment interviews, I was quite literally a wreck when my string of assessment appointments came to an end; but Dr. Arnold found time to keep seeing me for therapy. She is wicked intelligent, easy to talk to, and wonderful at fostering true acceptance for all the neurospicy traits that I have. 1000/10, completely recommended with no hesitation. If you are neurodivergent, you belong here.

Michael and Cynthia were a HUGE factor in helping me learn more about myself, believing in my good traits and finding areas I could improve upon. I've discovered that typical things we employ (self-help books, talking to friends, etc.) sometimes have their limits. I only wished I would have seen these limits sooner and have taken advantage of the experience that New Leaves Clinic provides. I've walked away with excellent tools: ones that I still use to this day in the course of trying to be a good person...

TL/DNR: Run far away…read more My 20 yo has some mental health challenges and two or three years ago we neded a new therapist and eventually a psychiatrist. Wolfpack advertises themselves as a non- traditional , edgy, cool mental health provider, and also they serve LGBTQ youth which we need. I knew about them from working for our local county's mental health division where I was a wraparound consultant. I am a therapist myself. My kid signed up with a therapist and as was typical during Covid it took a long time to get in. Kid was assigned to a young LCP intern probably fresh out of grad school. He was nice but not very effective.I do not think he was ready for someone with symptoms as acute as my kid. Not his fault. His supervisor should have caught that.  When we asked to switch therapists they said no. Kid was also assigned to a drug and alcohol person (weed) who broke my kid's privacy/ confidentiality by following them around Safeway talking about very personal things, so kid fired them. Kid also had an EMDR person who was good until the end when he dropped kid suddenly without any closure or goodbye in the middle of EMDR which has frankly left my kid in a state of crisis. They said " the contract was up." There was no contract as my kid has double private insurance and plenty of mental health benefits. We had asked if the EMDR guy could be my kid's primary therapist and Wolfpack said no to that, too. We began working with Wolfpack's "medical provider" (you would think psychiatrist right? um no) who promised he would start a certain medication that had been helpful in the past when we went to Mind Matters ( they stopped taking the kid's insurance). Kid jumped through all the hoops and then the Dr. said " no I was never going to give you that." So we asked for a new med provider and they said no. Also, it turns out the dude is a naturopath. Not a psychiatrist. And when we all ( this includes our OHSU primary care) found that out, we were floored. Apparently a number of other OHSU doctors had patients who were also clients at Wolfpack and they all thought he was a psychiatrist too. Nope. So my kid is in a mental health crisis again, having been dropped in the middle of EMDR which drags up past trauma and forces you to remember everything and then is SUPPOSED to give you closure. When I texted the EMDR therapist after their last session and he didn't tell the kid it was the last session and still brought up some horrible painful memories, I asked him to at least call or text a goodbye to the kid. He asked for the kid's #. Then nothing. The kid feels no one cares. Wolfpack certainly does not.

My son has been receiving services through Wolfpack for the past four years. During that time, he…read moreworked with four different therapists. With the exception of one, each therapist left Wolfpack within about a year due to various personal reasons. My son's last therapist was competent and cordial, but unfortunately, they just didn't click despite trying multiple techniques and approaches. In December 2024, his therapist essentially became unresponsive after we rescheduled, despite being aware of my son's ongoing struggles and crisis situations. At that point, I felt it was time to transition to a different therapist, as we had given this arrangement enough time to work (almost 10 months), I reached out to the office to request a therapist switch and left a message for Carissa. After several days of no response, I followed up multiple times--only to wait a full week without hearing back. When I finally connected with her, I was informed that there were no other counselors available for children, and that I could add my son to a "new client" waitlist that is currently estimated to be around six months out. This was despite her knowing our urgent situation and the length of time we've already been with Wolfpack. Instead of showing compassion or exploring alternative solutions, her response was repetitive--constantly suggesting, "Maybe try a different counseling office." When I asked why it had taken a full week to return my call, she explained that she wanted to speak with our current counselor first. However, it seemed as though she may have had difficulty reaching him as well, given the delay. I expressed how dismissive and disrespected I felt, especially given our circumstances, and how much time was wasted by keeping us in limbo--time we could have spent seeking other care or resources. Rather than taking any accountability or demonstrating basic compassion....she hung up on me. I'm unsure of her role or authority, as she referred to herself as the "owner of Wolfpack," but this was not clarified. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Wolfpack, especially if you find yourself in a crisis or in need of timely support, and definitely if it is your child who needs the support.

After 2 weeks they never filled my prescription, I called them, the pharmacy, and the insurance, MULTIPLE TIMES. They all told me (not this provider, as they never contracted me back) that they NEVER submitted the pre-authorized it so it wasn't covered. Somehow, it's never their job. The fact is, they prescribed the med and couldn't get it processed for me for 10 days without any communication. There isn't going to be a second appointment, and I wouldn't never trust this place with your mental health if you can help it.

Finally, she left work hours early today to come home and be ready for her phone appointment... only to get a call one minute after her appointment was supposed to start, cancelling the appointment. Apparently the doctor didn't feel like doing it. She's now having a bit of a meltdown over how impossible this entire process is, throwing her even deeper into depression and anxiety. So. If that's the experience you're looking for from a therapist, then these guys are right up your alley. If it's not, avoid these "doctors" like the plague. Oh, by the way, their policy is that if you don't give two business days notice before cancelling an appointment, they're gonna charge you $100. We found out today that that policy very much isn't reciprocal.
