I received a letter in the mail that was bullying me into getting cosmetic dental work that I did not want to have done. The threat and the letter was that I would be kicked out out of the practice if I didn't have it done. Unbelievable! And so very money hungry. There are instances with myself, and my child in which the dentist said that drilling needed to be done on the teeth. However, a second opinion, for my child's teeth, indicated that there was no cavity and that flu fluoride and mineralization topical were all that was needed. , All I needed to do is use Sensodyne toothpaste, and my discomfort went away. What does that tell you? The staff has been very unprofessional over the years, making nig comments, even about my little boy that I found intolerable and unprofessional. The dentist made a comment about my expensive vehicle right before I received the threatening letter. The arrogance, unprofessional and unethical behavior is intolerable. I am still considering whether or not I'm filing a formal complaint. I would never recommend this practice to anyone and apparently others in the dental care field don't either. She came back and claimed that she spoke with the insurance rep who said I was not covered. I gave her my card (this was not my first visit and insurance had been handled correctly in the past) which she took and finally came back to tell me that I actually do have the insurance that I had thought. I could have been okay with this had she bothered to wear a mask, but she didn't. I saw several other staff members either not wearing masks or wearing them incorrectly. As an older person, this made me extremely uncomfortable. Also, the dental hygienist was loudly talking about her issues with the dentist during the entire procedure, which was not only incredibly annoying, but unprofessional. The dentist seems fine.

All of the staff members took the time to reassure me and to make me as comfortable as possible during the whole process. They walked me through proper care and gave me tips to keep my smile white while I had them on. I was never a fan of how my teeth looked. I hated smiling in pictures because I had a huge gap between my front teeth and horrible crowding on the bottom. I felt like people noticed my teeth before they actually noticed me. I'm so glad I chose Parks Orthodontics because now I have beautiful straight teeth and the confidence to go with them. I can finally smile in my pictures! I have an in person great experience working…read morewith them and I stand behind what they are trying to do to. make an impact but dealing with them after being a customer has not been a great experice. I am not sure where the disconnect is but 1- they do not communicate well if you are a former customers. 2- they charge you for service upfront and you pay out of pocket for the service before they file with the insurance. That is my issue that state they have sent it over. I have checked my insruance account and the info is not there. I emailed last week asking for my documents electronically by the end of day and got nothing. I then called and left a message the following day. Asking they send it over. They haven't. I spent 4500 on 1 tooth to be repaired. Now I am in lost between the paper trail of where I get my reimbursement. I have tried not to place blame on them but this is ridiculous. I will not recommend their service as a former patient. Current patient teated extremely well, as a former who wanted to use them again. I will not and I will not recommend them. If you are looking for a bio-dental be prepared to pay up front and possible have insurance issues if you deal with them and be out of money. This has been on going since 28 Aug and it's now Dec 7.
