They also took full boxes of stuff back with them when they left. I guess that is why It is leaking in the back room after they did the roof. They had insurance if I bought a certain shingle, the same price as the other shingles and it was mostly for wind damage. They did not register the shingle for that insurance, so basically they stole 300.00 dollars off of me. I put in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, a month ago, but they did not put that there was a complaint on record after 30 days, if they didn't respond, you guessed it, they didn't respond. At around the same time,, I had my breast cancer surgery, and 2 days later I broke my wrist. I told them I was paying by check or cash because I would get a discount. They dropped their work crew of Mexicans (they asked me if I would be offended) I told them I didn't care what color or anything else, if they knew how to put a roof on, I was okayed with that. They didn't drop back about getting their payment that day, Early in the morning I got a call from sales, who said he was sending someone for the check, but said I could not because I couldn't write or sign it. He sent someone anyway and said he( would have someone help me write the check, I refused the person who came, I was still in my nightgown, and I was going to the bank later. They said the big boss was not going to be happy. So the big boss called me and said he heard I would not pay them. It pissed me off, I had to wait for months for them to come out to do the roof, after paying a large deposit, then showing me a list of 30 or more roofs that was before me, and he already had my check and it was a large cancellation fee. I said I was going to the bank, and it was the same bank he used. All I had to do is transfer the money. In total, it was over 11,000 dollars for a double-wide house, that was mostly flat. I paid probably 2000 dollars for the stuff they took back or more. I called them about the 300.00 dollars for the insurance, and they had a group of roofers go by my house, heckling me, I guess to intimidate me. You don't mess with a Philly girl, we just get mad! Needing some remodeling work and never had to use a contractor in the Ithaca area, I started asking for a good contractor. I received Chris Eder as reference to use. From our first phone call, he was very professional. Chris was very punctual for our first meeting and after looking at the job that I wanted him to do, he gave me a written email estimate later that evening. Every day for work he was on time, and every day when he was done working, he always cleaned up debris or mess that he had made as if he had not even been there. I am very pleased. I have had Chris do several different jobs for me on my house and rental and he has never failed me. He has remodeled three bathrooms, trim work around floor and windows, carpet/vinyl flooring installation, subflooring, installed electric baseboard heating, ceiling lights, minor electrical work and building storage shelves in my garage for me. Chris is always accommodating around my work schedule when he does a job for me. He has never started a job and then left me hanging days before returning. Every time I have asked him to do a job on whatever days I am available Chris is always there on time, always professional, very reasonable and works harder than a beaver with dull teeth. Not sure who to call, I did a search and recognized the name Sheesley's. The reviews were very positive, so I thought I'd call. The woman I talked to in the office was very professional and said she would definitely send a crew to fix this. It took a couple of hours before they came, but this was actually quite fast as all of their crews were engaged on other projects. The two that came to the house were terrific. They quickly figured out the problem and commenced to replace the sump pump. After a successful installation, they monitored the pump to insure it was was doing exactly what they thought it should be doing. I was extremely happy with the service provided. I would definitely recommend them for future work.

The team came, they were very nice had good attitudes and were honest, they did clean work and cleaned up after themselves. When one planned part of the job turned out to not be necessary Aaron shared that with me and removed it from the bill. I am surprised with how much better my house looks with new gutters and I am now looking forward to the next rain! They replaced 2 gutters, 3 down spouts and added cleats to my roof.
