I have had so many issues over the years with opticians getting my prescription just right but John always nailed it - never had "to get used to my new glasses" as others would tell me. You should not have to - if done right, your new Rx eyeglasses should feel smooth and comfortable on your eyes while you are looking through them - no eye strain, no headaches. The lobby is super open with very high ceilings, and feels especially pleasant for a medical waiting room. Once I checked in my wait was minimal at less than ten minutes and I hadn't even finished my new patient paperwork! My eye doctor was fine, if not overly friendly, but his assistant was about the sweetest most charming gal ever. She even made sure I got any smudges of mascara off my face as all those eye drops and contact removal can be a messy business! I only paid a $10 copay, though of course this will vary by insurance or if you are paying out of pocket. I appreciated that they did not push me to order contacts or glasses with them, almost to a fault. They just gave me the prescription and sent me on my way, never even mentioning it (though they do sell both in-house). I was able to find an online source for much less than I paid at my previous eye doctor.

Every exam is about the patient and the Dr take his time with you and explained what he is doing. They support a local frame company in their selection. Very professional and still super friendly. I found out they are booked out more than a month just know there is a good reason for that, everyone loves Dr Morrissey at the Eye Care center!
