I first met with CJ to see how long I would have to wait to be in a position to purchase a home. He walked me through the entire process explaining everything to me. We pulled my credit report (Which he paid for) and noticed several mistakes showing that I had been working on for 2 years to fix with a success rate of ZERO. I assumed he would tell me to work on those things and send me on my way with an estimated time line of when I could even consider buying. Instead... he asked if we could call every collection agent and account showing on my report right then!? So that is exactly what we did. We sat in his office and called each and every ding showing on my report. Now I had spend HOURS on the phone with all these companies before and got no where. Chad took the phone when they wouldn't give me answers and really got to the bottom; of EVERY situation I was dealing with. He even called my health insurance company which was stalling on paying all my medical bills. I went into my insurance agency the next day and for the first time (out of 12 trips I previously made into that office) I actually got somewhere! All thanks to the pressure CJ applied to them. My insurance company resubmitted all claims per Chad's request and the issues were resolved in 30 days. I am a first time buyer and young. CJ even suggested I go speak with some other mortgage lenders that can offer different 1st time home buyer programs to see what was out there. Said he was only happy to help out and would have no hard feelings if I decided to work with someone else. I did go see two other mortgage lenders and spoke to a third on the phone. The first told me to try back in 6 months and in the mean time suggested opening additional lines of credit. The second didn't even pull my report because they didn't think I was anywhere near a buying point. Said that in 12 months I could be a position with the right salary. The third wanted me to give all my info over the phone then submit an online application; which I didn't even bother trying. I was pretty disappointed at that point and thought there was no way I could ever get into a home anytime soon. I contacted CJ again now discouraged and asked if we could met again. He met me a half an hour after our conversation and we looked at my credit once again. My score had improved, but I still had some things to work on. He used a program to check what my score would look like with the shown items taken care of -and that score was good enough to qualify me for a loan. :) Again we picked up the phone and called the company that was reflecting bad information on my report and together we got them to remove it from my record and report it to the credit bureau. They promised to have it reported by this weekend and next week I will be in a position I didn't think was possible for another 6 months- 1 year. I am SOOOOO impressed with CJ and would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a professional mortgage lender; he is the one. At least call him and chat... I know you will be impressed! read more
