Ben even spent two hours with us on a Saturday walking through the pre-approval steps and answering all of our questions, which immediately put us at ease. When our timeline unexpectedly shifted after finding our dream home much sooner than planned, Ben and his team moved quickly to get us pre-approved so we could submit a strong offer. Their responsiveness and ability to act fast made a huge difference in the competitive Bucks County market. Throughout the loan approval process, the team made everything incredibly easy to understand. We always knew exactly what we needed to submit or sign, where we were in the process, and what deadlines were coming up. They took the time to explain the rates process--which can be confusing--so we always felt informed. Most importantly, we truly felt they had our best interests at heart and genuinely enjoy helping families buy their homes. We can't recommend MortgageCS enough!

Seems a better system than making people schedule appointments in advance. Our designated banker took care of us promptly and even realized he had a way to save us a fee for what we wanted to do without being asked. That is smart service that keeps loyalty foremost in mind. Although a national bank, PNC has a neighborhood feel to it. Our other financial shops for both business and personal needs often fall short of such consideration. Glad to work with one able to show that it cares about us.

People aside, the infrastructure here is infuriatingly bad. During my last 3 visits, the drive thru ATM has been out of service. Today, because of this, I had to run in through the heavy rain with 3 kids to make a deposit. Needless to say, I was not pleased nor were my kids. While inside, I noticed that they installed a new ATM. In the past, the lobby ATM (made by Diebold) was quick and easy like in any bank. But they've replaced that perfectly fine one with some generic, Chinese made, multifunction kiosk and it is which is UTTERLY HORRENDOUS. It's slow, it's glitchy, it gives me blank white screens for minutes on end, the screen freezes when it's processing a deposit or about to dispense cash and it makes an annoying "ding" sound reminiscent of a Windows 98 error notification every time I touch the screen. I left thinking I need a new bank. There's no way I'm using this thing again. Hopefully they'll permanently fix their drive thru ATM and correct or replace the lobby one. If not, I'm really going to miss seeing the friendly tellers here.

She wouldn't advise the seller of things he was legally required to do throughout the process. She advised the seller he was able to take and sell pool chemicals and cleaning equipment even though they were specifically written in the sales agreement to leave, and they were not listed even mentioned in the Sellers Disclosure as things he wanted to take. She had us sign an addendum with the seller allowing us to move our property in a couple days before settlement, to make it easier with the sale of our house, and then the owner would not give us a key. She did not seem to want to advise the seller anything he was required to do, and when my realtor showed her, in writing, the legal documents, she seemed to think things were still optional. The things she advised the seller he was able to do cost us thousands of dollars to replace and repair. I emailed BHHS Fox & Roach, through their website and never received a response or a call back. This was just an overall horrible experience, and I'm amazed a company this large is able to get away with this kind of unprofessionalism.

Beware of Funding America Mortgage and Dana Shelly!…read more My experience with Funding America Mortgage, particularly with Dana Shelly, has been nothing short of a nightmare. From start to finish, the entire process was plagued with issues that left me questioning the professionalism and integrity of both the company and its representatives. Timelines Not Met: One of the most frustrating aspects was the constant failure to meet agreed-upon timelines. What was initially promised as a swift and efficient process turned into an endless series of delays. Key deadlines were missed repeatedly without any prior notification or valid explanation, which led to unnecessary stress and complications on my end. Calls Not Returned: Communication, or rather the lack thereof, was another major issue. Despite numerous attempts to reach Dana Shelly and other representatives, my calls were often ignored or returned days later, if at all. This lack of responsiveness created a significant communication gap, leaving me in the dark and frustrated at every turn. Details and Communications Overlooked: It's clear that attention to detail is not a priority at Funding America Mortgage. Important details were frequently omitted or glossed over during conversations, leading to misunderstandings and errors that could have been easily avoided with proper communication. The absence of clear, accurate information was not only unprofessional but also indicative of a broader issue within the company. At one point I was supposed to close with Rocket Mortgage and then Dana decides to wait three days and not tell me that she got a better rate with someone else. Overall Experience: In summary, my experience with Funding America Mortgage and Dana Shelly was deeply disappointing. The unfulfilled promises, poor communication, and lack of attention to crucial details rendered the entire process more cumbersome than it needed to be. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice and seek out more reliable, professional alternatives. Save yourself the frustration and potential headaches--look elsewhere.
