They offer a variety of treats, burritos, pastries, cakes etc. we took a small box of 4 sweets. We were greeted with friendly service and on top of that, we were able to find the perfect cake to celebrate my moms birthday. So I was in town and starving and as I was driving out, I saw this cute little bakery. I decided to take a chance and run in to see what they had. I am so happy I did and I can't wait to go back. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was so big. I will only be able to eat half today and half tomorrow and to top it off, the sandwich came with the most amazing cookie. I ordered birthday cupcakes recently from Mo's Bakery. The ordering process was efficient and easy, and the resulting cupcakes were amazing. I trusted them to decorate these chocolate cupcakes with a SF Giants baseball theme of their own inspiration, and I was so delighted...as were everyone who ate one. They were yummy. I needed some vegan cupcakes and they were more than willing to make six of each flavor. They were absolutely delicious.

This bakery sells stale products. I bought a chocolate covered eclair and it was hard as a rock and uneatable. It cost $6.95 for one pastry. I also bought a blueberry cheesecake (small) and it was so dry and hard I had to throw it away. I will not return. read more

They changed their business model this week. All the things I thought highly of them before, they changed. They want to be a high priced lunch spot now. (With two inside tables). I wish them well but I don't hold out a lot of hope for their success. When you do something well (I previously rated them 5 stars) I don't think it will work well to change. I traveled 4 hours round trip to pick up my second cake I've ordered at Mo's Bakery. Their new location isn't open just yet, but thankfully she was willing to accommodate my request, as this was the only thing my 14 year old son requested for his birthday. Of course, the cake was delish...super moist, yummy ganache filling, just perfect! Friendly from the moment I walked in and very helpful with any questions. There is plenty to choose from and you'll find yourself asking why didn't i try this place sooner! The only real bakery in town. Great prices for some GREAT pastries and muffins. Bought a coffee cake for a next day's meeting and it wasn't so great. I was told it was baked that morning that I purchased it but the next morning, it was dry and hard. It had a good taste but you came just tell it was on the older side. I'm sure it would have been great if eaten day of baking but the muffins and pasties were a hit and the chocolate croissant my husband and I shared day of purchase was a tasty dessert. Whenever I have a craving for something sweet, Mo's is always one of my standbyes. I've tried their croissants, quiches, cannoli, stromboli, and something they call a "chocolate bomb." Everything was good and not *too* rich or sweet, save for the bomb towards the end... In any case, I *especially* recommend their cannoli, and their staff is always super friendly. Their cupcakes always look amazing, too; I'll have to try one next time I come back. read more

This place is great! Usually a pretty good assortment based on savory or sweet. I recommend trying a little of everything to get a feel of what you prefer form this place, as I've found things I don't love, and things that I could eat everyday. The food is consistent, what I get and come back to order again is always the same good quality. Poptarts are filled good and taste great. The brownies are great. The English muffin sandwiches are amazing, bagel sandwiches were good too. The Hungarian donuts had a good flavor, but a little different. The lemon bars I didn't love. The cupcakes are always fire. The carrot cake is my favorite. I would recommend anyone try this place out and if the 1 thing you ordered you didn't love, come back and try something else because I'm sure there's something in here for everyone. Mo's makes the most delicious Chicken Pot Pies that I've ever tasted! Savory with just the right amount of seasonings. The crust is flaky and melts in your mouth! I hope they continue having them throughout the Fall and Winter. They are such comfort food! We've also tried their raspberry and lemon scones and their pastries. So yummy! Mo's Devil Food is amazing! I have been there twice. Last Sunday and this past Wednesday. Both visits were very pleasant and staff was very nice. Wednesday I bought a dozen of cupcakes and a box of different types of pastries. Everything was delicious! Coworkers were all raving how fresh and delicious everything was. I was hoping the new owners would be on par with the previous owners, but after trying then twice I am very disappointed, the cinnamon roll I tried the first time was dry and tasteless , the brownie was way to much butter and not what I expected, Waited two months to let them settle in and tried them today with a lemon bar, yuck!!! The pastry on the bottom was still raw and the lemon filling was not what I would expect a lemon bar to taste like. My wife makes excellent lemon bars so I have something to compare them to. French bread was good. The puff pastry w/pesto and sauteed tomatoes I'd give a 4. But today at 10am I purchased the vegetable quiche puff pastry, turns out it had artichokes so I guess it was an experiment in cuisine, one I would bypass next time. The texture was nice, pastry was well done but the combo of veggies was more a 2. The eclair is why I've given the shop a final 2 vs 1. I was told when I purchased the veggie quiche pastry and eclair this morning at 10am the eclair was made in the early morning. the eclair tasted horrible, the custard tasted days old and like cardboard, was sticky gummy with the outside of the custard dry, really really really yellow and horrible tasting. The chocolate glaze was good, pastry seemingly day old and out of a refrigerator with unnecessary hard bits of decorative candy on top. Overall I give the bakery a 2. I was going to order French napoleon pastries for Christmas but now I'm hesitant. read more
