The sourdough bread was as good as the reviews said they were. We made multiple sandwiches at home with them and with their house made vinaigrette (definitely order a side of this), it elevated the at-home sandwiches to another level. The garden focaccia was solid but not my favorite, it did go well with the pasta we made though. I wish they sold their sandwich focaccia bread as a standalone though. I was chatting with some other people in line and they saying how they go for their sandwiches because their vinaigrette and focaccia bread was so good, so definitely plan on ordering a sandwich next time around! We bought the tri-tip family meal, which came with tri-tip that we picked up outside, then had it sliced inside at the deli counter, 2 lbs of baked beans with bits of unexpected pineapple, potato and macaroni salad, and rolls, all for only $36.99 + tax. The tri-tip was still juicy and delicious after microwaving it at home, and the cold salads made it back safely since we had a cooler. The beans were exceptionally delicious. I've never had them with pineapple before, only in macaroni salad. We need to boycott fast food with their outrageous prices these days. This was obviously better and fairly priced.

I'm so glad I took the chance! First, the empanadas were absolutely beautiful--generously filled, fresh, and delicious. I also ordered a few bakery items to enjoy with my morning coffee, and they were fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Then came the tri-tip sandwiches. I ordered one on ciabatta and one on Dutch crunch, and both were outstanding. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. For dinner, I tried both the steak pot pie and the chicken pot pie... and wow. Comfort food at its finest. And finally, here's where I really stepped outside my comfort zone--I ordered the Chicken Biryani. It was incredible! Now I can't wait to work my way through more of their Indian dishes and curries. I was also surprised to see the state of the shop. It was not at all as I remembered it. The produce didn't look fresh and there was a layer of dust on items in the shop. They obviously have new management as they are now offering Indian food. I was interested to see that at first because I love Indian food, but after we got out and were looking around, I feel like it is actually a detriment to this place. I wanted to look at the pies but everything looked like it had been sitting and the smell of curry was thick. It's hard to get excited for sweetened farm fresh pie when you have a nose full of spice. That really put me off getting a pie. Still, I thought I would go with it so I decided to try some of the new menu instead since it was all I could smell.
