The food was fine, seems like it could be a chill place if you don't mind your stuff getting stolen! I was in town for work and one of my coworkers had his car broken into and his backpack (along with his devices) stolen! When the server came over to tell us he seemed almost happy about it. We pressed him about if this happens a lot and he said "yeah, about every day when someone parks over on that side of the restaurant, which is why we all park over here instead." I stumbled over this pub was not planned! Went for a Costco run and needed a quick bite to eat and ofcourse a cold cold Guinness. As we walked in immediately greeted and offers drinks and food menu. I was completely shocked as how full of flavor our food was!! The fish and chips were perfectly cooked with a crispy batter and tender cod coleslaw was delicious add the malt vinegar pinch of salt!! Perfection! Fried pickles with jalapeños are fire! The bacon cheeseburger is delicious full of flavors as well as the Jameson burger to die for! Wings are very tasty sweet &spicy Jameson sauce is a must try... they have a wide selection of draft beers & whiskey. We have gone for 2 months now and have made it our Saturday brunch spot! Our son, daughter-in-law and grandbaby visited Mo's with us and enjoyed it. We shared an order of Wisconsin fried cheese curds....these were amazing. We tried everybody's stuff and liked them. A couple fish and chips were disassembled posthaste, one sheperd's pie met the same fate, I did a Philly cheesesteak and it was 3 stars. Our son tried an Irish beer called Smithwicks, it was very smooth and tasty, I went with a very hoppy Karbach's Hoppadillo. My company ordered food to go for a meeting and several of the orders were not correct- very disappointing! I ordered a Buffalo chicken salad and asked for dressing on the side both to be able to control the amount of dressing and to keep it from arriving soggy. It arrived with dressing on and way more dressing than I prefer which did cause the lettuce to be less crisp and more soggy. I only ate about a fourth and then trashed it! We've been to this place a few times before and had a lot of fun and decent fare. The food is typical bar food; you're not going to get anything that's outstanding. My daughter ordered the boneless chicken wings and a pub burger. Overall, they were ok. I had the nachos and power salad. The salad was bitter and missing quite a bit of the ingredients that were listed in the menu. The citrus vinaigrette was flavorless. Also, the bottom of the salad plate had a hidden trove of slimy, wet lettuce. Needless to say, I only had 3 bites. The third time was the charm with a piece of soggy, mushy lettuce. Service was incredibly slow considering there were very few people dining in for lunch. The server only talked to us when she had our food and never came back to check to see if everything was ok. We opted to sit outside. It was on the colder side. The two managers came out immediately and fired up the pit and heater. They were very nice. They told us that our server would be out in a bit. It took her about 20 minutes to come out to greet us and that was after I went in and ask bartender to please send our server over. The server came out, you can tell that was new. She was very sweet, funny and did good. We met there with friends and did not get pics, except for one...Lol Hubs and I decided to share a bowl of the chicken & rice soup. This was by far one of the best customer service experiences but the wings were okay. I had a coupon Buy one get one free. I would not order again. Buffalo and Jameson were the two flavors I had. The wings were very small and they really don't taste fried at all. Shariah was very pleasant and nice. She welcomed my 1st visit with a smile and was kind as I picked up my to go order. Meh!.. I was not amused by the lack of service received on this visit, which I would give only one star. But, being that it was a live Elvis show, I'll give this review 3 stars. Unfortunately the service was poor and frustrating. Perhaps another visit would render a different result? Being that we drove an hour to get here, I doubt that I will be revisiting for another review. We paid for a reserved table for a birthday celebration in our group to see a "live Elvis" show which was going to be exciting. Seating for the show was outside and it was a HOT summer night in Texas. It was so hot that the outside ceiling fan blades were wilted from the heat. I understand that it was busy but we literally could not find our waitress for the first 20 minutes after being seated. After becoming frustrated about not having anybody come to our table, I went to the bar and got our own menu so that we could see what was offered since it was a dinner time show. The waitress still didn't show up for probably another 20 minutes and acted as if it wasn't a big deal. She wasn't helping anybody else she was just non-existent and no other wait staff would help us. We make sure to order our food and drinks as quickly as possible in case she didn't show up again for a while and his food was delivered by other staff and we're not sure how long it would take to get drinks. The show was great and the food and drinks were good quality and the prices were reasonable. But unfortunately the biggest glaring issue was the poor service. I only give a 3-star vote with two thumbs down because even though the show was good, Moe's restaurant does a really poor job of customer service. We've been in here a few times, post Covid, during Covid and it what ever we're in now. Service has always been great. Bar foods are good, can't speak of entrees as never really ate a meal here. I'd like to comment on the low reviews. I don't believe anything you say. My wife and I are in town for work and decided to eat lunch at Mo's. We almost didn't because of the reviews. I'm glad we went. We were greeted at the door and given an option of a booth or table. The place was busy but our waiter greeted us in under a minute and took our drink order. All the staff was really friendly and very professional. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer. The size was a little small but for the price it was fine. They tasted great. For our main meals, I had fish and chips and my wife had a breakfast plate. The fish and chips was very good and fresh. We currently live in Florida and I can easily say it was above average. My wife's meal was exactly what she wanted. Our waiter, Claude, was amazing and very friendly. Now for the bad, this is a bar and not a fancy restaurant. There are plastic glasses and containers. However, they never claim to be anything other than a bar. The only thing that didn't make sense to me was the piece of bread with a huge chunk of butter on top of my fish and chips. I went to the Houston area for the Tex Tech / Ole Miss bowl game. I wanted to grab dinner before going to the stadium.. I would have to take out a loan to eat there. Mo's Irish Pub was around the corner from the hotel and was just want I was looking for. My waitress was super nice and gave me a food & Beer menu. There was a large selection of beers and I picked a good one. She brought my beer of choice promptly and I ordered my Shepard's Pie. The bowl of Shepard's Pie was the right size, not too big nor too small. There were several large TVs scattered around and most had bowl games on. Great layout in a new building. Good choice of beer but some of the Irish favorites were missing. We only went for a beer and an App so I cant comment on the food but the Cheese Curds were good. Lots of monitors for viewing sports and a good staff. It was not very busy the night we went and we just popped in for a quick beer but I will be back when I can stay longer. read more

Made a Costco run with the wife tonight and we thought we'd check out the new Mo's Irish Pub. A very nice clean establishment with interesting decor catering to an Irish theme, nice wood floors large round bar in center surrounded by tall tables with booths and smaller dinner tables on the edges.. laid out nicely. Service was prompt and efficient with an excellent welcome and backstory to the restaurant theme. We tried the fried pickles : excellent! Crisp and flavorful batter served warm with ranch dressing/dip. (CRISPY FRIED PICKLES Harp® beer battered dill pickle chips fried crisp and served with our buttermilk ranch dressing.) My wife tried the (CHEESEBURGER SHALAYLEE The ultimate cheeseburger! A flavorful blend of ground beef and American cheese stuffed inside a crispy wrap. Garnished with sour cream and served with Mo's Guinness® Barbecue dipping sauce.) she loved it! Was flavorful with the exception of the barbecue sauce.. kinda weird but the wrap is fried and tasty.. I tried it too.. really good! I very much enjoyed the Pub burger- juicy and flavorful, rich and buttery. The bun was excellent and comes without mayo or mustard unless you specify.. you won't need it as the meat is high quality and it's taste will stand on its own. (PUB BURGER GF Our juicy Angus beef burger char-grilled and topped with lettuce, tomato and red onion on a toasted bun.) Yet there is Guinness on tap and they use Jameson's in a dish or two. As an aside it should be clear to any that no Irishman worth his smacks would waste good whiskey on cooking. We came for lunch and got seating right away. As you walk in you can be dazzled by all the TV screens (easily a dozen large screens) I tried the Jalapeño Grilled Cheese. It was really good, oh yup. Thick and cheesy with bacon and Jalapeño. Dunk this into the soup. Amanda, out server, said she has this with a fried egg on top. Her and I dubbed that the "Mo's Hangover " Food is mostly light fare, like you expect at a sports bar. There are a couple of entrees. Music is classic rock from 70's and 80's. Had a very nice time at Mo's the other night. Went in for dinner and drinks and stayed for some live music. The pub is very geared towards sports, I am not a sports fan but the atmosphere is nice. It can get very crowded during big sporting events but the vibe is very upbeat and everyone seems to be having a great time. We sat in the side area and had a booth. It's separated from the rest of the pub and has a more intimate feel to it. Our waitress was super funny and friend a little spaced out acting but had a great personality. I had the fish and chips which were amazing, I also ordered a Carmel Lassie but didn't care for it much, it had a very heavy alcohol taste and not in a good way. The menu has a large variety of choices - we ordered the cheese fries for an app. We added the bacon for $1.99 extra - they forgot it but brought it to our table after we asked and did not charge us for the bacon. The fries were okay but all the cheese was at the bottom. For our meal, we ordered the Sante Fe Chicken Sandwich, Jalapeno Grilled Cheese, BBQ Chicken Boxty, and Triple Grilled Cheese. Both grilled cheese sandwiches came with tomato soup - very tasty. Next time, we would have subbed some other type of cheese on the grilled cheese (just our preference) - the American cheese was a bit off-putting. It also came with cheddar and Swiss. The bacon and avocado were plentiful on both sandwiches though. The Jalapeno Grilled Cheese has a kick to it so be warned - it was delicious and I will order this again. The BBQ Chicken Boxty - first time ever trying this dish and it was huge - we took 1/2 home! Chicken, sausage, and shrimp all wrapped in a thin potato pancake, topped with cheese and BBQ sauce. The Sante Fe sandwich was a solid sandwich as well with bacon, avocado and pepper jack cheese. A buddy and I went there on a Saturday night and had a great time. I cannot remember the bartender's name (female, tall, funny accents) but she was a blast. Beer was good (as it should be), but the food was surprisingly good for Pub Grub. I had some fried pickles and the shepherds pie. No regerts. Not even one letter. Good place to hang out, food is ok and the atmosphere is great. Went out and had a few drinks there. I had a few drinks but some of them are way over priced. A bottle of Red Breast Irish whiskey is about $50 at Specs. Had two drinks there for $30. That a rip off. Talk about over pricing there liquor. Any ways lesson learned, next time will just go purchase a bottle at Specs for way less. Other than that people are super friendly and have not had bad service there. read more
