She's very warm and friendly, and I've always gone away satisfied with my nails. The one experience I had with Ashley was also very good as well. However I haven't had very good experiences with some of the other aestheticians. One of the aestheticians started out with the wrong colour and then had to remove it which I found a little annoying. However today was probably the worst experience I had there. I had a gel manicure appointment with their junior aesthetician. Only after just walking out did I realize that she had missed the very tips of my nails. So I decided to go back in so she could fix it. However after fixing it, my nails just had a dark streak at the top, which I also pointed out. After that she decided to remove the gel and start over. This time she made an obvious effort to be meticulous (which was appreciated). But because of this, a 45 minute manicure turned into a 2.5 hour manicure. Then when I left a second time, I noticed air bubbles. Tired from being there 2 hours already and not seeing a solution, I just decided to go home. That's not to say anyone should write this place off completely. The customer service and relaxing atmosphere are great, and if you get the right aesthetician, they do a good job. But altogether, I guess they're a little inconsistent.

Even still, I'm a girl who very rarely has nail polish on and use my nails for many things. I have no complaints about the finished product, my finger nails and toes nails look great. The employee that helped me was respectful to listen to my wishes of not cutting into my cuticles too much and she also asked if I wanted to use the razor (which I always forget to ask them not to do). It was bad enough I had to cut back on dog walks (out Doodle was not happy with this). Reviewing the medical literature I found out there was a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of my condition. After multiple phone calls to clinics offering dermal fillers (mostly for cosmetic procedures) I found the practice of Dr. Anna Sylwestrowicz, MD . The office was very accommodating with my unique inquiry and agreed to meet with me just to discuss my diagnosis and treatment plan. One of the most vital requirements for a good medical outcome is a solid 'Doctor-Patient' relationship that starts with an open and frank discussion. I found my conversation with Dr. Anna (as she prefers to be addressed) to be all a patient could ask for. We jointly came up with a plan, discussed the various dermal fillers on the market, her experience with their use, possible outcomes and hoped for outcomes. I agreed to the procedure. Three weeks before the start of my hike, Dr. Anna injected my left heel pad with dermal filler. The procedure itself was tolerable and I walk out of the office with an order to 'take it easy' with my walking. For the first 5-6 days I was sore at the injection site but that was too be expected. After a week, I restarted my daily dog walks (much to the pleasure of our Doodle) and gradually increased my mileage. On April 23rd, 2026 I found my self hiking south on the Appalachian Trail from the small village of Damascus, Virginia. I was planned on keeping my daily mileage under 20km while carrying 15kg of pack. At that point, my heel was pain free. I hiked for a month pain free. I ended this section of the Trail in the very tourist town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This was a distance of 400km-pain free! Considering the pain, I was in prior to the injection of dermal filler this was a remarkable medical outcome. I am very, very pleased. As for the future, there are 333km left for me to complete. I will be back to the Trail in September for finish that section. Thank you to Dr. Anna and her staff in joining me on this journey!

I have had a couple of poor Botox appointments where Dr Lacaria has missed the placement giving me weak results. She doesn't take any accountability for that, even though it's a very expensive treatment. I find the staff very pleasant and warm but they are being pushed to make sales and every time I have been there lately they are trying to sell me things I don't want, all with the threat that my points will expire if I don't use them right away. I am back in the market to find a new place.
