I've talked with Holly and others in the office for casual things like address updates and misc questions and they answer immediately or are prompt to respond via phone or email. I disagree with other comments posted and my experience spans 15 years and multiple policy changes over time.

When I was actually able to contact a live person in the past, I was read a canned, scripted response to my questions and concerns. Every time I call, without exceptions, I get voice mail. Some of the problem seem to be the complete lack of support from State Farm, and part of it is because of the very large turnover of employees at Mr. Nelson's agency. Most recently: I have been trying to get support for problems with my insurance billing for over a month. Numerous calls and emails were not responded to except one time. Yesterday I was fed up and switched insurance companies. I left a voice message AND sent an email to Mr. Nelson himself to cancel all of my State Farm policies and have received only a canned email message from Mr. Nelson to contact his team with my request. I am back with Geico (where I should have stayed all along) and paying much less for the same exact coverage. PS. The purpose of dealing with an agency is to get direct and personal customer service. This simply did not happen for me here.

Even a text that would've taken 1-2 minutes to reassure me was just too much to expect from them this past week. What I do see is five or six reviews, all sent yesterday by whoever, to bury the truth I revealed in my first Yelp entry a day ago.
