I am Celiac. I have eaten here with my family whenever we visit. I have had a gluten free bowl and gluten free burritos. Fresh food and good size portions. The food is really delicious. I have not gotten sick after eating here. It is a really clean, bright and cute place to eat in. They even have a drive-thru. It is new and modern looking inside. The staff are very friendly and always helpful when I'm ordering. Great place to eat if Gluten Free or not. Gluten free brownies and rice krispie treats too. read more

The food here was amazing. I am a big fan of bowls and this place was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is great with lots of natural lighting and a natural "gym-style" wood floor. Super-clean. The food...delicious. Super-fresh veggies in the bowl, delicious marinated chicken, ridiculously large portions. I can eat and the heaped over regular bowl was plenty. I had the Santa Fe bowl with (shredded beef?). It was good, but my bowl was soggy, hard to eat soggy (cause of texture, you know?). Next time I will ask for rice on the bottom and/or for the meat to be strained more before serving. Otherwise good, I would eat here again. read more

Being in a very small town I don't usually find a fun, unique health fast food place. They make great tasting and unique burritos. I have twice now had the curry burrito that reminds me of Thai food. My wife found this place when we were doing house walk throughs and needed food fast. Kind of an unassuming spot and thoroughly delicious food. Kind of a fast food take on healthier dishes in bowl form. Quick service overall prices were good and a cool variety. Their Mac and cheese is awesome and you can get it a variety of ways. Wasn't as big of a fan of their curry dish but mostly because I like my curry really spicy. High quality food that's ready to go quickly and easy to eat in the car. read more

I am torn. I believe that this business could be a fantastic addition to this small community, but as of now, it sadly is not. The location is great, the interior design is nice, modern, and comfortable, but the food.... The food has potential. It's a tasty, well thought out creative menu. However, the issue time and time again has been the temperature. I have a problem when I pull my burrito out of the bag and the foil it is wrapped in is ice cold. It baffles me how an employee can prepare food and clearly feel the wrong temperature and still hand it off to a customer. I'm not sure what could be going wrong that would make a burrito feel as if it were pulled out of the freezer. Although I am upset with my service in the moment, I still believe that this business is a great addition to the Lyndonville community, but some things will need to change. read more

Have gone a number of times in the past several months along with my wife. At first, everything was fine except for the loud echo throughout. At any busy times we have to scream at each other to be heard - especially when the sound they refer to as 'music' is loud. They are in serious need of some acoustical absorption. The last time we went three days ago, I ordered the Curry in large bowl. He asked if I wanted protein. I told him the Sausage and asked if that's the spiciest-hot of them all. He nodded in agreement. Partway through his putting shrimp on, I was surprised, although I figured maybe he couldn't hear me with all the echo in the place - besides, I haven't had shrimp in years! I did notice he was scraping the bottom of the brown rice bowl to scoop some out for me and went over to tell someone that the bowl was nearly empty, shrugged his shoulders and scraped enough to give me a serving of the bottom of the bottom. We paid and then proceeded to eat-in. I noticed rather quickly that the brown rice was clumped into little pieces about the size of marbles and felt like I was chewing on pieces of broken glass, I commented to my wife that I will break a tooth if I try to eat this rice and started picking through the rice, putting the hard pieces on the metal tray. She mentioned I should return it. I started working on the shrimp. I ate maybe four out of about seven. I told my wife I hate confrontation. She then saw my discouragement and took it up and said something. I waited about two minutes and they come and ask me if white rice is alright instead to which I replied in the affirmative. After what seemed like a long time, a guy finally gets the dish back to me with an apology. I begin eating then noticed that the several good shrimp I returned were now missing - I went through the entire meal and not one shrimp was there. I certainly did not expect to get more shrimp than I paid for but felt that I should at minimum get the shrimp I did pay-for. We finished and, on the way out, I told my wife "never again, I'll never go back there again." Too bad. They could have used a negative situation for their benefit as opposed to losing a fairly regular customer (or two). Price Every time, I got the large bowl. I must admit I walked away full every time in the beginning, paying between $20 and $24 for two adults with one drink. When we began going there, the portions were nearly overflowing the large bowl, they were really heaped high. The last several visits, the portions aren't nearly as large and I noticed I was in need of a dessert (elsewhere) after the meal where I wasn't before. read more

I really want this place to succeed, there is nothing else like it in the area. But they are struggling to put out good food. It's hit and miss. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's garbage and sometimes they just give you the wrong order. I would me more willing to deal with it if it were affordable, but it is not. It's really expensive. I'll still keep going just to support them, but they really need to get their act together and improve their food quality or this restaurant will be gone soon. read more

Like any place when it first opens up it has lots of attention and people are interested to experience something new. Quality: This place was great the first month or two, but then they began to let the vegetables stay in too long and get rotten. Example, the cut cilantro has been black. Yes literally black and they gave it to me. I ate it like a dumb ass and got sick. Big surprise. They let the tater tots get extremely stale and dry under the heat lamps and they serve them to me. Nearly like rocks. I ate half because as noted above I will eat anything when hungry. They serve their breakfast food until noon. At 1130 I ordered a breakfast burrito. They had no eggs made. Good and fresh right? Maybe but these scrambled eggs took 4 employees and 18 minutes to make. Would 3 scrambled eggs ever have taken you 18 minutes to make when there is not another single customer in the restaurant? Kudos to them for switching to aluminum foil for their burritos the paper was sticking to the shells and making a remarkable mess unless you ate it within 5 minutes. Cost: This is not a cheap place. A burrito and a drink will cost you about 10 bucks. They have canned 12 oz sodas but only the most expensive ones they could find. Canned Pepsi with REAL SUGAR costs nearly 2 bucks. IS there a choice for a canned soda that is not so specialized and cheaper, no. The size of their burritos is a bit on the small side for their regular size. No options for larger sizes. No options for buy 2 regulars and get the second one half off. Speed: This is a fast food place with a drive thru. I have never waited 18 minutes at McDonalds (see Eggs above). Communicating inside is hard enough with these children inside so I have never tried the drive through. Cant be any better I am sure. They have all these people standing around behind the wall when they could be watching the store for when a customer comes in and is ready to order. That would be speedy. No eggs made, I as a worker, am looking at the case and am hyper aware of what we need. Its not noon, so I need some damn eggs cooked STAT. This place is owned by the same folks as the Freighthouse. In comparison, Yes this is very fast food as it takes 40 minutes for a Falafal salad and french fried at the Freighthouse. Protein: They care about your protein intake. They are gonna ask you if you need more. How considerate. Dr. Atkins would be proud. Dr. McDougall would tell you where you can shove your sausage. Conclusion: Sometimes good food with timid service, poor drink choices for rednecks and bad prices for what you get. Dont let them give you crap food and don't wait for their slow staff. read more

Excellent food, open and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff! I didn't think the prices were bad, $20 for two people! You can't even get out of McDonald's for under $20 for two people now days. The food tasted great and the portion was more then enough! I love all the options they had to choose from and the fact that they have healthy alternatives and they are not your typical greasy high carb fast food place! Loved the design inside, very open and inviting with plenty of seating. Also love that they have outdoor seating! Staff was quick, helpful and friendly! A great addition to Lyndon!
