My mom and sister got a few old piercings re-opened and a few new ones as well. Staff are great about explaining everything and were super careful about keeping everything clean, lots of hand washing, multiple sets of gloves, everything sealed and opened in front of you. Couldn't ask for a better experience. Tip: just because they only take walk-ins (unless it's a child's appointment) does not mean there is endless availability (especially on the weekends). When we visited they only had one piercer in, and early in the day filled up their queue and had to turn some folks away. So if you're driving a distance or can't come back another time your best bet is to wait for a weekday, or on the weekends arrive when they open and be willing to kill some time around town. Calling ahead probably wouldn't hurt either.

She gave me time to look through all of the options and helped whenever I needed. I explained some issues I've had with buying crappy jewelry in the past and she didn't shame me about it, but instead offered advice on how to keep my piercings healthy while not using the greatest quality jewelry until i'm able to upgrade it to better stuff in the future. While the jewelry is expensive, the quality is amazing and the pieces are beautiful. If you're going to buy real gold pieces that are going to last, you'll have to know it's going to be a bit more pricey. Regardless of this, Nina never made me feel pressured to buy anything and made me feel so comfortable the entire process. She's extremely personable and kind, and I had a great time chatting with her throughout the process. After paying much more than I expected to pay from all these extra charges, I got home and saw there were 2 bottles of spray in my bag. So I think she already put a bottle in my bag before asking if I wanted it? Our time in there saw waves of customers coming and going out so it was busy overall. I recommend the sales employees be better trained, pricing be clearly marked so there's less confusion, and the process be better streamlined so there are less chances for error. I got a two word phrase, "Let God" the process of choosing where I want it and how went perfectly, but once he was done and I looked in the mirror the letters were a bit wonky and uneven. This was my first tattoo experience so I was a bit nervous to speak up about my doubts, but I asked another artist if he noticed what I did. He agreed with me and said he'll tell the artist to fix it for me. My artist, Matt, came over and proceeded to fix it as best he could. He was a bit sassy with me... I asked if he noticed the L in "Let" he said "what about it". I then told him i think making the bottom of the "L" line a bit thicker would maybe fix it. I asked him if he thinks so and he replied with "I don't know, we'll see". His attitude and demeanor towards me after I spoke up about my tattoo just wasn't great. Overall, I am glad I got my tattoo, I do like it, but the experience and outcome of it could have been much better.
