Abhorrent customer service. I walked in to get my necklace fixed, and the person at the front was talking to a buddy of his. After standing around for five minutes listening to them talk about their friend's shooting range in their backyard upstate, the person behind the counter said he'd be with me. They continued gabbing for another five minutes, and I just walked out. Despicable towny behavior that is so off-putting and uninviting. I'm shocked that they're still in business, or maybe not because they know how to treat their friends. I even called ahead, and was actually greeted by a very nice young lady, but what I found in the store was totally different. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

A good friend gifted me with a pair of beautiful earrings (hoop with a blue sparkle charm on it) for Christmas but to my disappointment it was silver and my earlobe turned bright red about 10 seconds after I wore it. My friend told me she bought them at Mosiello & Sons becuase (brace yourself!) our mutual friend's sister's husband runs the shop. (did you get that??) 3 highways, 1 bridge and U-turn (i got lost) later, armed only with a text message "Go see Brian" and no gift receipt, I arrived at Mosiellos & Sons as they were closing. The ladies there were so welcoming and friendly (5 minutes before they were set to close!!!!) and showed me other beautiful piece that I could exchange my gift BUUUUUT i really liked the ones i had... Enter Brian. (literally... he walked in to showroom right then from the back offices) and half hour later, i was home. Brian 1. took my earrings back and said he'd order identical hoops in gold 2. promised put the blue sparkle charm on the new hoops 3. gave me directions home 4. offered to mail me my earrings when it came in.... all in the span of about 5 minutes.... Fast forward one week later, I was on the phone with Nicky giving her my CC no and now I have beautiful earrings that I didn't have to travel to get. It showed up on my doorstep in a box with paper filling, inside an envelope inside another bag... along with my receipt showing the credit for the earrings i returned and all at a reasonable price. There's really something to be said about small business and the personal service that you can only get there... and everyone at Mosiello & Sons have been so nice that i have been raving about them ever since! read more

The customer service is great and informative without hovering or being too in your face regarding sales. I have been a happy customer for over 25 years. In that time I have purchased many earrings, necklaces and watches. I have had rings resized, chains shortened and a lot of custom work done. On November 22, I went in to purchase a chain to replace one that was too small and long for my pendant. In the past I have purchased 9 chains with multiple rings so the chain could be different lengths - 16", 16.5", 17". The two ladies working barely acknowledge me after I was buzzed in to the store void of other customers. After they finished their personal conversation, I was asked if I need help. When I told them what I wanted I got a confused look and was told they don't do adjustable lengths. I was wearing one of the chains!?!? She did't offer to show me any chains and showed little interest in selling me anything. So I left. As it would happen I went to the Ardsley Post Office and went into the jewelry store near Salon 877 and purchased exactly what I wanted in addition to a pair of earrings and a new watch. My sister is getting married and order a wedding band from this store. She was told there was enough time before the wedding day for the order to come in. Less than a week before the wedding they told us it was going to be arriving 3 days after the wedding! Last minute the shipment came in and after all the heartache and stress they caused my sister, they had the nerve to hold the ring from her until 15 in shipping charges was paid. They were so rude and horrible to my family I wish I could give them no stars. read more

Well a year ago I would have rated this jeweler much higher, but recent events have really changed my mind based on the experience my fiancé and I have had with them. I got engaged last July, and recently noticed that two small diamonds fell out of my band. So my fiancé called and told them the situation. They gladly said they would replace the diamonds without a problem. He and I were still pleased. I dropped my ring off on June 27th and they said it would take a few days to fix. A couple of days later, I got a call saying my ring was finished. Here is where my opinion started to change. On the voicemail there was no mention that they would be closed for a few weeks, so when I went to check the hours, I was shocked to see they were closed until July 15th. But okay, "there were signs in the store." I get it, I wasn't paying attention, so I'll eat that one. Even though good customer service you would think there might be mention that they will be closed. But whatever, I'll move on. So finally I go to pick up my ring, and I was so excited since I haven't had my ring. I look at my ring and diamonds are still missing out of the band!!!! Like what! So I tell the woman and she literally looked at me like I had 5 heads. I was upset, so she went to tell the owner who was in the back of the store that the diamond fell out again. No apology, nothing. I was at work so I couldn't sit around and wait. I left and said my fiancé would call to discuss the situation. He called and was told he would receive a call back. So rather quickly (maybe 15 minutes later) they called and said my ring was finished. Unfortunately, I had to go back to work and couldn't pick up the ring. So my fiancé waited for a call which he never received. Two hours later he called back, inquiring why he didn't receive a call. I guess they thought calling me at work would suffice for his curiosity as to why the ring wasn't fixed. Blah blah blah. Soooo, he goes to pick up the ring and again asked why it wasn't fixed. He got no real answer other than the lady who works there is part-time. So whatever. Right? Nope. Wrong. Today, I go to put my ring on and two diamonds are still missing!!!! Whomp whomp!!! So we are going back on Thursday, with high hopes that they can be more professional and fix this situation, and restore my faith in small business and humanity. read more

I am so happy to have been introduced to the Mosiello's about 12 years ago. They have NEVER disappointed me with their services and items they sell. When I first met them I had a bracelet that was my mother's and they replaced the stone with my birthstone. Recently I somehow broke one of the links. I brought it to them hoping they could figure out how to fix it and of course they came through by making a new link.
