Had a thoroughly enjoyable experience working with Derrico, and would absolutely recommend this store to anyone looking to purchase jewelry of have a custom piece made. After a series of smaller purchases from this location, I decided to have a custom engagement ring made for my (now) fiancée. I laid out a somewhat involved design, that their artists then took and crafted into a wonderful piece. We both absolutely loved the ring, thought it was perfect, just needed some minor tweaks. After having picking the ring back up, my fiancée had noticed the addition of a milgrain finish to the edges of the design, which while typically added to the type of ring I had made, was not something we wanted. I brought this to Richie's attention, and he was extremely understanding and accommodating and informed us to bring the ring back to have it removed. Unfortunately, the process of removing the milgrain wore down some of the detail of the pave settings. At this point Richie went above and beyond expectation in offering to completely start new and rebuild the ring. We had a very tight timeframe with several deadlines to meet and busy schedules to work around and he dedicated the total attention of his staff, as well as his own time in completing the revision. His staff, and the operation at both locations was very impressive and professional, and do incredible work. Most importantly, the final revision came out even more beautiful than my fiancée and I could have imagined, even better than the fist iteration, and received countless compliments by all that see it. Really truly impressed and happy, and the work is just phenomenal. We are both very attached to this ring, and thrilled with the entire process. Can't say enough good. read more

D'Errico Jewelry is without a question my favorite jewelry store of all time. Service is great, the staff is creative and the selections and store environment very inviting. If you are looking for "cookie cutter" high volume of goods, maybe not for you. If you want an inviting store with unique choices that stand out and people who are personable and professional, then you will love them as I do. I once brought in fossils that I wanted to design an unusual setting for. The two other jewelry stores I had brought them to first (not knowing where to turn to since I never have liked commercial jewelry stores) were truly negative experiences around my goal. Kim at D'Errico was not only helpful, but open to my ideas and added her own information/ideas as to how that could be achieved, as only a creative professional could. Many stores are not open to much other than selling what they have. The staff in general is both helpful and professional and sincere. I felt very comfortable leaving an engagement ring for them to size. What more can one ask for? I see no point in ever going anywhere else. They also have a larger store in Scarsdale, which is good if there is need, but since they regularly go between the two, no need to travel to both. I am at home right here. Quality and care... This place is amazing! The advertisements express their unique ability to work onsite but that truly is an understatement. Other than having a huge selection of beautifully designed jewelry to choose from, their custom talents are like no other. I was looking to reset my engagement ring of 27 years. After showing the store's designer what I had imagined, he created a custom designed computer photo of exactly what it would look like. Giving me many different variations to choose from, together we made changes until I was happy with the final outcome. They then turned what I envisioned into a "rubberized" sample of the ring...incredible!! I had the opportunity to try it on and see exactly what it would look like on my finger. But wait... That's not even the best part! When the ring was completed, I went back to the store with my original diamond (which btw I kept all along) and I sat with each talented jeweler from stone setting to sizing to polishing and finishing as they all separately worked on my ring until it was exactly what I dreamed of! There is absolutely NO place like it! Sal, Richie, Robert and all the staff are so amazing as well!!! They can't do enough to satisfy their customers. I went to Derrico jewelers to have a ring sized, I have extensive experience with jewelry and am a collector. I was appalled at the outrageously high cost for this very basic repair, which was simply to size the ring down. The request was not to add any gold or to perform a service that was highly specialized or out of the ordinary. Making no apology "Richie" at the store stated the price is the price. This is just bad business. My recommendation is to take your jewelry to a place with true customer service, where the staff provides you with an honest estimate before performing any work and doesn't take advantage of you. How can they expect repeat business or loyalty when they are just out for a quick buck and to take advantage of people. Please use my horrible experience as an example, and do not subject yourself to this type of deplorable treatment. Stay away at all costs! I would never patronize this establishment again. I had a fantastic experience and cannot say enough great things! I went to D'Errico to pick out an engagement ring, after my brother had such an amazing experience doing the same. Sal is incredible at what he does. He makes the whole process seamless; he makes you feel appreciated and walks you through everything step by step. We had such a great experience with D'Errico Jewelry. We visited both locations- Scarsdale and Mt. Kisco. My fiancé had my engagement ring custom made. We dealt mostly with Richie but all the other staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Richie took the time to shop around for the perfect stone- and trust me this took time. Not only does their work keep me coming back, but so does their service. I've worked with Dana multiple times and she's the best; so personable and very knowledgeable on what she does. I brought in my grandfather's cuff link and some old pieces, looking to making something new that I could remember him by and wear everyday.
