I gave him my parameters (anything but beige!) and budget and truly shocked me with what was available in my price range. We looked at three vehicles. The first was a beautiful suv, top of my price. The second neither my dad nor I could remember after walking away. But the third! Beautiful bright red 2009 Chevy HHR! I gave it a test drive, fell in love. We were unsuccessful after calling, going online, and speaking with the park attendant at the gate. Not a big fan of the east coast and the prices nature parks charge here. Living in the mid and west coast you can literally pull up and park at almost any lake with your hammock and it cost you nothing. Here on the east coast not only are you paying for ok scenery and rude attendants that look over you depending on how you look.

The food was amazing and ambience was so peaceful, a cute pool and hot tub out back, fire pit and gazebo tucked away for the ceremony! They Made us a cake and a bouquet of roses for the ceremony and we toasted with champagne as well. It's the little details that really made the few days we stayed such memorable experience. We got told to go to a million different places on the property and then we we were finally on track to find our room the owner of Berry Hill came up to us and told us the room we had booked was no longer available. She said that "an employee who no longer worked there" booked us in a room that isn't available for the weekend of the festival. She was incredibly condescending and was acting as if we did something wrong. They ended up putting us in a room that was much worse and smaller that the suite that we had booked. There was no apology for the mix up-- only the owner being rude and unkind towards us. You would think that she would want to make a good impression since this biggest weekend of the entire year for this resort. Besides our terrible check in experience, the hotel was nice. There were scratches on the floor but we had a nice balcony and big windows. We did find an ant in the bed though.
