WEhat is you annual RV rate for seniors? We have a 13’ travel trailer with no slides and no pets. We also have a boat and interested in annual boat storage and/or annual boat slip rental. Thank you, Steve and Angel Mercier

    375 plus electric

We could really. Stay from Nov 1-April 1 if have spot available.? What would your rates be for a 38 ft fifth wheel with three slides. Gloria

It would be 425.00 plus electric per month. You can call 863-655-0119 . Thank you

Would there be a possibility of a site for a month and maybe longer beginning nov 1-possibly thru april 1? We have a fifth wheel with three slides and could use 50. Amp. Advise please.…

Sorry I don’t have any one month openings. If you were to stay 3+ months I can get you in. Thanks

This LGBTQ+ campground,…read moreis quiet, relaxing, very old and worn a few permanent residents, nice pool area..no restaurant or bar, bring everything you need, no dance floor no real entertainment even on holiday weekends. There is a shack in the wooded area by the boardwalk for indiscretions.. ( the only fun or interesting thing there), are bit pricey for the cabin rentals, especially the tiny tiny ones, that you can't even turn around in.. plus a 25$ a year membership, and 10 $ day pass, that sadly end at 4 pm.. ridiculous. They really dont know how to run a business.. soo many potentialfor this place.. . You can however rent a rv or camp nearby within 5 miles and go for a day or 2. We did about 4 miles away rented a rv. And do the day pass thing. Now, for the most part.. its clicky , and not many newbies.. friendly people there, nothing to do.. the 2 guys that own it are rude and nasty as fuck.. condescending, the short old one drive around in the golf cart and watch everyone, a gestapo. Rude and nasty, very very unfriendly, and makes any newcomers uneasy and unwelcome.. you figure they would love new blood to stair some life in the place. It could be a great place. Have a little food place, a bar.. or sorts ... a dance area.. breath some life into this place.. Owners could be a bit more friendly accommodating. Don't ask them anything.. j7st ask any of the resident or you'll get you head chewed off

Nothing good to say about this place. Moved as a permanent…read moreresident end of last year. My dog was continually bit by fire ants with vet bills exceeding $1000 multiple times. Maxine refused to spray for them. After several months of me complaining she finally agreed to take care of it. She never did. Jami in the office said the sprayer was broken and no one ordered parts, but Maxine could not communicate that. After being very frustrated with the management, I tried to give my home back to the park. I couldn't afford vet bills and paying there on a fixed income. Before I could do so, Jami called about purchasing the rv for her daughter. She offered only $2500 which I decided to take to get out of the horrible place. Despite have 20 k in it. New air conditioners, roof etc. Maxine knew this. Before we could close on the transaction she and Maxine called me to the office to tell me she could only pay $1000 now due to having to pay a deposit and first months lot rent. Maxine also said I had to pay June lot rent or forfeit my deposit to be released from park. Reluctantly I agreed. After selling and returning to my family, I found out my lot rent was transferred to Jami. For June. She did not pay June lot rent and Maxine confirmed that. So I sold for $1000 and gave them $809 lot rent. Who would agree to that? This is how Maxine and Jami do business. Did escalate to corporate but they would not assist either. Jami went so far at closing to tell me I was paying my lot rent in arrears when I questioned why I still had to pay June if I had a buyer who was committed to pay lot rent for the same month. Please be ware. If you are not a favorite of management this is what you get. I have filed against the company and Jami as well as filed numerous complaints to many state agencies. Wish me luck!! Don't buy there for sure!!!! There are many folks there promised lot rent credits that never received. If they respond to this and say this is not the full truth, please know this is 100 percent truth and god knows it is. Thank you Btw Misty Dodds at corporate said this was an issue between buyer and seller, yet I paid island and island credited Jami. Secondly, Steve Mackey, President and Misty's boss has never responded after several weeks, nor has Newell management that handles these matters for him. Very sad the way they handle residents that pay on time and have never caused any issues I should not be paying lot rent for someone who negotiated a lower price because she had to pay deposit and lot rent. Nor should I be paying lot rent for anyone without management being transparent about the transaction and that this was occurring. There is a difference between me paying to satisfy my obligation and me paying for someone else. Very sneaky Big conflict of interest with Jami working there and purchasing a second home. And Jami already owns one place there. If you can't own two places or sublet, how is this occurring? I believe island owes me my June lot rent and or Jami as well and since Jami was both purchaser and representative for sunshine during transaction, I am going after both for return of those funds. Good luck with this place Just stay away

The staff (Patti, Vicki, Dave, JR and etc.) were very polite, caring, and helpful. The place was clean and kept up. communication with everyone was very helpful too. When we came back in 2025 there was a new staff and they were VERY VERY unprofessional and definitely NOT skilled in Customer service, or Positions that they held. (VERY RUDE AND CRUDE) You are also charged for every little thing they don't tell you about. While we were there last winter(2025) The atmosphere had changed for the worst. People were irritated with the new management on how they managed the park. Also there was always something wrong with the water or electric. ( these need to be upgraded) If something would go wrong, you better go by protocol or you were hollered at. ( even though now one knew about protocol) SO DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!

The main feature of this wonderful park was the boardwalk that goes through the swamp forest. Some really old trees that are possibly 1000 years old, is located in this park. We were staying nearby and decided to explore this park. I enjoyed the historic land and old trees. The boardwalk was pleasant to stroll on; I saw quite a few memorial plaques. Generations of people walking on the same paths decades ago. It's a peaceful place and I'm glad they didn't turn it into farmland back in the 1930s.
