They said it's too late to cancel tonight but they'll cancel my next two nights Wednesday and Thursday. He read me the last four digits of the card on file and showed me the paper of the reservation and it says that I used a credit card I used to pay with my debit card when I got here on Monday night to pay for the reservation I have the transaction on my bank app for my debit card. The card they have on file is not mine. I don't know whose card it is, but they said that's where they're refunding the money to. They laughed in my face. They owe me $154. read more

It wasn't a great stay here because the tap water from the sink and shower smelled of black mold. See one of the two photos. The sink had dots of black mold that didn't flash away or even be wiped out with a bathroom tissue. I reported the front desk manager, who reacted plainly and didn't say anything, so I decided to report here. I couldn't use the water for face washing and showering! I hope they will reach out to an expert soon. Overall, the room wasn't clean. The floors had thick layers of dirt, which I couldn't capture in the photo well. How did I know? My dog's feet got dirtier! The other picture shows the linen with stains, like someone's shoe mark. We stayed here for one night. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the room was and it had all the necessities we needed- tv, mini fridge, table. However, the area seemed a little sketchy. When we checked in, they wanted the IDs of everyone staying in the room which I had never been asked to provide at any other hotel, but no biggie. We saw a guy kinda being sketchy and walking across the parking lot with a PS5 and then 20 mins later there's cops that showed up (not sure if the incidents are related). There was a lot of people lingering around on the balcony and in their cars. Overall, the room was fine for a night, but the area was the biggest concern for us. read more

Here for a week, no one cleaned our room. No fresh sheets, towels, nothing. We ended up changing our own bedding and cleaned up ourselves. All week. Upon checking in I and three others waited in the 'lobby' for nearly 30 minutes as no one was there. I finally had to call and the person came down from a room somewhere and they were chewing food. Horrible horrible management. I stayed here multiple times for business and today I was informed that I can not stay at the hotel anymore. It took me 20 minutes for the front desk person to figure how to read his screen. He told me I had three non registered guests staying with me in June. I am the only person that ever comes here and it is for business. I had my teenage daughter with me once before. Don't stay here they lie and treat people horrible. Checked into Motel 6 in Rohnert Park. Would not advise anyone to stay here. Gentleman at front desk didn't look trustworthy and made us feel uncomfortable the way he was staring. Room smelled like horrible body odor and pot and a couple of guests said they had to change rooms twice because they found roaches in their room and were in the process of checking out. We were given a refund and stayed at Best Western down the street. Highly recommend BW. We could tell the minute we walked into the lobby the difference in motels. Higher end facility, room extremely clean, wonderful high class staff and even offered free breakfast. Price a little more but worth it. Will never stay in another Motel 6 again. It's a shame. Not bad, let me tell you not bad for a place with a reputation like Motel 6. I am staying here for a few days while the plumbing at my home gets fixed and it is a suprisingly decent place. It is clean, has a modern art deco feel to it, the bathroom and bathtub are clean as a whistle and there is a modern TV to relax and watch a flick on. The beds look OK ( although they don't look too comfortable and although the location is kinda sketchy and it looks bummy on the outside it really doesn't bely the interior of the place. I definitely wouldn't mind staying here again in a pinch if I would have to but I definitely prefer something at least 3 stars, which Motel 6 definitely isn't. read more

Motel 6 is not usually a place that deserves a Yelp review, but this location is an exception. Yeah, I know, Motel 6. But, all things considered, and having had quite a few positive experiences with this chain, they have been my go-to travel lodging in past years. The service and accomodations were better than one might expect at the 'extreme budget' level, but I was not looking for a 'Hotel Excelsior" or "Park Avenue Essex" experience, just a clean, well-run sleep den...this was definitely the place. A hand Starbucks across the street is a plus, and fine dining can be had just around the corner, a short walk away, where nutricious, yet delicious repasts may be had at Weinerschnitzel, Foster's or, if you're really hungry for an exotic meal, the Taj, East Indian restaurant. As it seems, that despite being retired, I have suddenly become re-employed, and will find myself making the dread sojourn up this way fairly often...the good thing, THIS place! read more

I find it hard to write a review of a Motel 6. If you're used to staying in nicer hotels, then the spartan furnishings, mediocre bed, and terrible towels will be a disappointment. But, if you are traveling on a budget, don't mind old-style motor lodges, and visiting Silicon Valley, it might meet your expectations. Here are some things that were good: I found the room quite clean. And the front desk staff was pleasant and professional. As for the rest, I feel as if you might respond to everything I write with the thought, "Well, what did you expect--it's a Motel 6?" It has laminate flooring (rather than carpet), and the motel has anchored every bit of furniture to the wall or floor except for a single hardback chair. It is not a comfortable room in which to relax. ("Well, what did you expect--it's a Motel 6?") I did not suffer any losses at Motel 6, but I didn't feel particularly safe. I'm used to hotels with internal hallways, safes in rooms, and a business-class clientele. One night, a guy who looked like an extra from a Charles Manson movie was wandering the grounds, and the next night a hyper, nervous man speaking REALLY fast asked if I was an engineer and had a screwdriver he could borrow. The rooms of the Motel 6 have external doors opening to the parking lot or a walkway balcony, and the room windows look out to the sidewalk or second-floor walkway, so there's no way to let in natural light without allowing everyone to see you, your stuff, and your room. I travel with some of my employer's electronics and prefer to keep them safe, but there is no room safe, nor is there a safe in the office, so I had to keep my tech with me at all times. ("Well, what did you expect--it's a Motel 6?") The bed is a platform bed with what felt like a foam mattress. It was pretty hard, which was not an issue for me but could be for others. The hotel doesn't provide any shampoo for guests. And the towels were just terrible--the threadbare, rough towels will make you long for the ones you got in your high-school gym class. (In fact, they may be the ones you had in your high-school gum class purchased second hand!) ("Well, what did you expect--it's a Motel 6?") The price was good. The location is convenient (if a bit loud) next to a major highway. Parking was plentiful. The office is open 24 hours. It's just not the kind of lodging I usually seek, so I don't want to be too harsh in my review, but I doubt I'd consider the Motel 6 again when I visit the area. I'm sure I can do better for the same or a little bit more regarding price. read more

It was dark outside when we arrived at the motel so couldn't tell by outside what the state of the buildings were in. We checked in and went to our room. We were kind of surprised. The room was small, it had 2 double beds and hardwood floors. The T.V. was mounted into the wall with a slot beneath it for the remote control (across from beds). there was a build in table under the T.V. There was no coffeemaker, fridge, microwave or hair dryer either. It looked like it was recently remodeled by IKEA. The beds were a bit to firm and very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was no carpet in the room it was hardwood flooring or laminate to look like hardwood flooring. There was 6 of us that stayed in the room. We had 4 kids with us and they slept on the floor. Even with blankets & sleeping bags it was very uncomfortable for them. Oh, and no pool or hot tub either. :-( Since pets are free, it's understandable that they would take out the carpet, but they should have designated some rooms for pets & non-pets. Long story short, we checked out the next day. The person at the front desk was very nice and we were able to get a full refund on the day we didn't use. I would recommend this motel for pet owners and business people, or for someone who needs a 1 night stay. definitely not family friendly. read more

I wish there was a way to give a NO-STAR here. I paid over $110 for a small room after making sure it was clean. I checked in around 4:00pm and left shortly after. Upon my arrival later in the evening around 1:30am I saw two crack heads just hanging out in the parking lot and a woman who seemed to me as a prostitute. When I came out of my car a third very suspicious younger man appeared from nowhere, scaring the hell out of me. I managed to get to my room safely and called the front desk, even though I had seen it pitch dark and locked with my own eyes. I thought maybe there will be someone on the property I can share what I witnessed earlier. No one answered the phone so I called the main line to connect to the corporate office. When I explained the situation, not only they failed to make me feel safe, but they actually accused me of making this story up. At some point, the person on the line told me that those are paying guests, as if that makes it OK to have drug dealers and prostitutes staying there as long as they are paying customers. Realizing what I had gotten myself into, without any security around nor a front desk personnel, I asked for a refund and left the place. If you care for your safety, don't stay here. I'd never go back to any Motel 6 properties with what I experienced both at the local and at their corporate level. $110 is not a cheep stay either. with just a few dollars more you can stay somewhere where your safety is guaranteed. read more

Growing up in downtown, Los Angeles gave me hobo low standards for motels, but fear not this place is a great motel for the price (I paid about $120/night including taxes & fees). Pros: New furniture TV AC/Fan Wifi (2.99/4.99, but usually complimentary) Parking included via permit for each person Hardwood floors (no nasty carpets) Pretty quiet (some reviewers scared me into thinking I'd hear cars driving 2 feet from my door) Starbucks across the street Room service Cons: Rooms get stuffy if you don't crack the window or door mattress is thinner than luxurious hotel mattresses Thin walls no shampoo/conditioner (luckily I took extras from another hotel the night before) Overall, great stay for great price. If I could, I would Give No Stars!! I came to this Motel referred by My church for an emergency stay. Well, it is located on a busy intersection so it is noisy at night, the room that I stayed at for the Night is Non-Smoking however it stunk really bad as soon as I walked in. Seems the neighbors that stay there are probably there for the same reason as I Am.Nobody sleeps it seems everyone is up. Noisy, talking Loud the Rooms are so close you can hear everything and it keeps you up. Booked this room for one night, picked up the keys at 5:30 while I was out helping with my brothers Celebration of Life which was,the next day. Got back to the room at 9:30. When my daughter pulled back the sheets on her bed there was a pubic hair in the middle of the bed. I then pulled the sheets back on the other bed. The amount of the stains on the sheets were disgusting! What looked like semen stains to me. The manager who was on duty yelled at me when I went back out and told him we weren't staying in that room. He asked when we checked in I said around five and he proceeded to yell that we did not, finally checked his computer to see it was 5:30. Said since it was over 5 hours we could not have a refund. First it was not over five hours. Second I was told to talk to a manager, which he was but had to talk to another manager the next day. I didn't go back as it was my brothers Celebration of Life, that was enough emotion for one day. Called the 800 number and since they have to go through the owner I was charged $61.00 or half the price for four hours of just having the key in hand and being in the room for maybe a total of ten minutes. I used to live in San Jose and this Motel 6 was always the place to avoid. Camden location was a hotbed of dope fiends and losers. Last year I was broke and visiting, so I stayed at the Motel 6 in Santa Clara. It was not great. I doubt I'll go back. This year I'm in town and want to save some money so I try the Campbell motel. It was nothing like I remembered. The outside has been redone. I was looking forward to seeing the room. It was WAY better than the Santa Clara motel. The room smell nice, not over powering with air freshener. The bathroom was shiny and clean. I never tried the TV, and the internet is an extra 3 bucks. I bought the internet in Santa Clara and the signal was terrible. I didn't HAVE TO have it, so I didn't bother. Over all, it was very nice. I did not expect that. I tried the Carlyle Hotel next door a few months ago, and that place was such a dump compared, and a lot more expensive. OH, and the reason I like Motel 6 most, (dump or not)... My fiancee and I were evacuated from Santa Rosa during the huge fires in October 2017. We drove all the way to Campbell because it had the only available motel in a hundred miles. The staff were instantly very sympathetic to our situation, and helped make accommodations for us. They checked on us routinely and made sure we were alright. Genesis and Vanessa were especially helpful, and their manager Marlena was incredibly friendly. Marlena gave us extra time when we were checking out, in order to find out if our home was safe to return to. The room was big, clean, and well-lit. The heater/AC worked great. The bed was large and comfortable. This was my first time in a Motel 6 and the quality was much higher than I expected it to be. I strongly recommend this motel. read more

I have mix emotions about this place. First off the staff was friendly so that deserves a star. The room that I got deserves a star because of its cleanliness. The restroom and tub looked clean, the sheets were clean and free of stains as well as the towels. third star for its location. Everything about this hotel was perfectly set up. It had just the right amount of towels. The pillows that I got were comfortable. However I have to take one star away because the plumbing was acting up. The toilet wouldn't really flush so sometimes I had to flush the toilet 5 times to get it to go down. The sink also gave me a hard time because at first when I was brushing my teeth the water was piling on because it was slowly going down the drain which was fine because I just made sure to turn the faucet on low. Just when I thought that would be it, I felt water on my socks. The sink was leaking. The water didn't leak from a visible pipe it was leaking from a pipe inside the wall. I don't know if all the rooms had that problem but the one I got did. I didn't ask to switch rooms because I didn't want to haul all my things to a new room. I had a ton of things so I limited the times I used it and wash my hands in the tub faucet since that didn't leak. I also put a towel to absorb the water. I took another star due to its walls that has a connecting room door. The wall or the door is so thin that I could literally hear the people in the next room. From 12am to check out those people were awake. When I say I could hear their conversation clearly word by word I'm not exaggerating. It literally sounded like they were in the same room. Throughout the night I could hear their conversation and their TV and at 5am I could hear their music that they were playing. I never been one to complain on my neighbors, I usually block it off and ignore loud neighbors but the plumbing on top of the neighbors really put a damper in my stay. I stayed during the corona virus shut down and the motel seemed to be less than 25% full so it just got under my skin that they weren't put one room away. They were put next to me with a ton of empty rooms to go around. At the end of the day it's not the staffs fault nor did the staff know how loud these people were going to be and I get it too in any motels there is high chance you will hear all sorts of things coming from the next room. I just wish the walls weren't so crazy thin where it sounds like they are talking in the same room as you while your trying to sleep. Will I stay here again? Probably yes. read more

Ok first off I really like this motel 6. But the manager his name is AL. Indian guy is a real ass. My mother and i had a reservation set and we get there and mr. No personality AL was at the front desk. This guy is always rude and unfriendly. Long story short i say to my mother we can come back later .hes not very friendly. He says what did you say. I told him i said your not friendly and you have no people skills. He flips out and lifts his walkie talkie like he was going to bash my head in I told him i wish he would . It was all downhill from that point. Some body with a temper like his shouldn't be in the hospitality field.
