My family and I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott for a brief 2 day stay. The hotel has lots of shopping within walking distance with the Pruneyard on the same side of the street (which has a movie theater and lots of shops and restaurants) and Shopping area with a Wholefoods. There is parking near the hotel which the hotel charges $15/day. The hotel has an outdoor pool, exercise room, laundry room, and a very nice lounge area in the lobby. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Since we had 2 young kids with us (8 & 10) we got the suite which was spacious. The room was updated and modern and the beds were very comfortable. The room also had a mini refrigerator and a microwave. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend it.

I stayed here during a recent business trip. The front desk host was courteous and the check in process was fairly smooth. The parking was also easily accessible. The rooms however were not up-to the mark. The rooms were cleaned but definitely look old and not up to the Marriot standards. They have a good breakfast place and like any other courtyard their breakfast isn't included in the nightly rate. Given the accessibility in this location I might try a different place next time.

Awesome establishment! Service is fast! Thanks so much Steven from the late night shift! Or Stephen I'm not sure which spelling but thank you so much for your hospitality! I will definitely be back!!! I appreciate the help with the restroom!

I think this is my 2nd or 3rd time to review a hotel experience. First was in Paris. In terms of distance to restaurants and to Mystery Spot, we chose this place. Last minute booking is expensive at one night of close to $232. The lobby hotel employees are welcoming - though we noticed the bar is closed on check in at around 430pm. Same goes when we went out and arrived at night. It wasn't that lively place I guess that people may lounge around. From lobby to the room assigned was nice though.

    Beautiful room!!

I'm convinced all the negative reviews on this place are because of a personal experience/vendetta, not the actual location itself. This is a beautiful venue and true to the Marriott brand. Ramone made sure to put me on the floor requested when I checked in. He could have been more cordial but I'm used to getting that treatment due to being a minority. What really made me give this place 5 stars was the fact I left my ring and the next day after checking out, Ricardo answered and made sure to take care of my situation with urgency! I've stayed at plenty of hotels and the integrity of this place truly wowed me, the room was beautiful and we slept great, downstairs is just as amazing, sad that I missed out on breakfast and Starbucks, both which looked lovely! The only negative thing I saw was chipping wood on the bathroom. They inform you of paying for parking when you check in so you can't get mad about that. Ramone almost forgot my parking pass due to worrying about other things but we made sure to retrieve and place it where needed. I'll be back! Update: I came here during the health scare only to have another room where the heater didn't work, I'm convinced it's a central engineering issue now. Requested blankets ahead of time through the app only for them not to be there. Woke up sick due to the temperature all night, got food to-go from the bistro on my way out only for it to be overpriced frozen food. Nothing craft like the menu portrays. Becoming an outdated hotel that doesn't fully represent the brand. (Knowing from being a rewards member for years). Brought this to the manager's attention and he brushed it off & allowed a free juice to suffice for the lack of customer service. In no way comparable.

Rust spot and faux wood paneling falling off.

This was the second visit to this hotel. I was disappointed actually. Our room was clean but rundown. The bathroom had a rust spot under the sink and the faux wood paneling in the sink area was coming off. I asked for another set of towels, a blanket and more coffee but had to ask two more times before I got it. Most likely won't be staying here again.

Front desk is very friendly. Decent choice of snacks and drinks to purchase for late night munchies. Parking is $15/night in covered parking structure. Our Ford F-150 w/ shell fit but it's close. The room was clean. Fridge in room was cold. Glass coffee mugs. Full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash in shower. The King bed was very uncomfortable! Both our backs were trashed the next day.

Used crack pipe in room 229 y'all.

This place has been totally revamped since the new owners took this over. The old ratings and some of the other ratings that are on this hotel are totally incorrect based on what I experienced while here. I honestly think that some of the Yelp users chose the wrong hotel. I noticed when I searched for Townplace in Campbell, the Saratoga one popped up at the top and had I not clicked on that and saw that this was not the Campbell location, I would have reviewed the wrong place. Hopefully they can verify and fix the reviews. Anyways, kudos to the owners and managers for such a wonderful remodel and such a pleasant stay. The staff are welcome upon entering the hotel. This is a great place to stay either short term or for long term stays (I love mingling and asking questions and I was told that there are some that have lived here for months and even a few for years after selling their home). This place works with insurance companies for temp housing and I even noticed some local celebs walking in the hall. This Towneplace Suites is awesome and I am glad I visited. The owners really brought this hotel to the potential of where it should be. The hotel went through a complete renovation project that was finished in mid/late 2024. The hotel has so many amenities including breakfast, an activities area, a patio with BBQ that you can use, a washer/dryer room and a well equipped gym. They do allow pets for a fee as well. The rooms are of good size, each remodeled to a modern design. The lighting is decent but with the window, it adds enough light in the room where you don't necessarily need to use the lamps during the day. Each bathroom comes with Container Store organizers to make unpacking easy. The kitchenettes are fully stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, etc. and if you need any appliances that are not there, you can ask the front desk to borrow them, including cookbooks! If you're bored, go borrower some board games and keep the kids busy. Or just sit and watch TV while sitting on the couch (which by the way converts to a sleeper). I saw that they offer studios, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom suites. Townsuites is very strict as to what is offered at the hotel so you get a great variety of choices during your stay. There are several types of milk (regular, 2%, oat milk, half/half, etc), multiple cereal brands, various hot breakfast items, and even a variety of toppings for the oatmeal. The little mart at the front desk has goodies to purchase that range from frozen dinners, water bottles, Pepsi, Starry and Mountain Dew sodas, candies, Lay's chips, and even Haagen Dazs and Baskin Robbins ice cream! There are state of the art water filtration stations where you can fill your own bottles, throughout the hotel. The hotel is located down the street from Downtown Campbell, which is filled with upbeat and trendy restaurants and located near The Pruneyard where you can do some shopping, eat and watch movies. Or go for a nice stroll on the Los Gatos Trail along the creek or take the kids to the kiddie park just a quick 2minute walk. Downtown San Jose and the upscale Santana Row is not too far either. If your not a local, these are the places you want to visit! I highly recommend staying here. I think you will be very happy based on my recommendation.

I found bugs and spiders in the bed, socks left behind from a previous guest, and sheets stained with various bodily fluids. I was told the room had been cleaned on 4/18, but that was clearly not accurate. I have added photos documenting everything. When I reported the issues, I was informed that no other rooms were available, so I had no option to move to a clean room for the night. I expected much better from a Marriott‑branded hotel.

So... Walking into a room that is 57 degrees is a bold choice for a hospitality brand, especially on a cold/muggy day. Oof. It took 60+ minutes for the heater to fight its way to 68, which gave me plenty of time to admire the 'well-loved' (rundown) furniture. The heater felt like it was working really hard, given how loud it was. The shower pressure was basically a leaky faucet with aspirations, and I'm personally not a fan of the drive-up-to-the-door style--I prefer my hotel rooms to not feel like a storage unit with a bed. Overall, it's a bit of a relic. Unless you really enjoy shivering while being lightly dripped on, maybe look elsewhere. Oh as a special bonus, it is really loud. The road outside is busy and you can hear everything and same with the people that were walking above me in the room above. Luckily they woke up at 5:30am to check out and took their sweet time walking back and forth. I should have looked at the reviews before I stayed here.

Great clean stay to end our honeymoon!…read more My wife and I stopped in San Jose to soak in one more day on our honeymoon along California. We chose the Residence Inn San Jose Cupertino for its proximity to the 280, and were pleasantly surprised to see it was centrally located in Main Street Cupertino (restaurants and dessert shops galore). Karen at the front desk was very welcoming, and upon learning we were on our honeymoon, sent up a surprise gift with a lovely hand written note. Our Studio 1 King, Sofa bed room was clean and spacious, and immediately earned our Poodle approval. Odd number rooms face the Main Street area, whereas even number rooms face the parking lot (something to keep in mind during check in). The true highlight was the restaurant's free breakfast, with a plethora of traditional breakfast options and additional items such as organic chocolate milk, fresh roasted potatoes, and various nuts. A few extra highlights included: late checkout of 1pm, pet relief area, and an expansive patio area which had plenty of couches, a fireplace, and tables. Overnight parking is at a nearby parking garage (free). Highly recommend the Residence Inn San Jose Cupertino for a clean, centrally located stay with an excellent complimentary breakfast buffet.
