This was probably one of my most ghetto motel 6 stays. Had to switch rooms 3 times, The 2nd room was dirtier then 1st with cans and stuff on the floor like what did they JUST CHECK OUT? 3rd room was best option and I had to get new pillowcases. After waiting basically 3 hours to be told "sorry I don't have the laundry key" The only solution was to give me access to an "offline" room with "cleaner" pillows.... The room was offline since some literally yanked the tv out of the base -_- One of my friends also needed medicine refrigerated which I called in regards to before arriving. The woman who helped me said she would accommodate me and I was there shortly after the conversation and that was a different situation apparently all of a sudden Next time I'll just drive 90 Minutes home 2 nights in a row and save myself the money. Oh and the back flow was having issues so the parking lot smelt like POOP all weekend. I should've been paid for staying here high key lol read more

Well; it did fulfill the "cheap" need. The room was not in the best of shape; there were extensive cigarrette burns on the tub, the inside of the main door was filthy and looked as if it had been kicked in, there were no plugs open in the room, other than by the sink and TV, the phone was dirty and missing buttons, athere were screws and screw holes in headboard and no refrigerator/microwave as promised. Oh, and we didn't get the handicapped room as ruquested. Now, we did get a downstairs room on a corner, and it was quiet, but I suspect that was because everyone was stoned out of their mind, as people were smoking pot out on the steps. I'll just find another place in the area next time. read more

I just wanted a cheap yet safe place to sleep. The staff was helpful when I needed handicap assistance. The room was clean but I felt slippers were necessary. The bedding smelt washed and the bathroom was clean. The pool seen better days but again, I only needed a place to sleep for the night. Fresh coffee and working ice machine was much appreciated when starting my morning. Would I stay here again? Sure. I am not high maintenance, just need a place to sleep during my travels. read more

On first entering the room, the beds looked good, but the floor was pretty filthy. We started to bring our bags in, and saw scurrying bugs. We immediately took our stuff back out so as not to have it infested with unwelcome hitchhikers. We only brought in our necessary night things and charged our devices. The beds were comfortable, and the sheets clean and relatively new, hence 2 stars rather than one. Bugs can be eradicated, filth can be cleaned. But they weren't. Not this time. Normally, we would have got some food and gone back to relax in our room after our event, but that was just not appealing this time. We spent the day in our van in preference to hanging out in the room. Everything we did take into the room, we put into bags for quarantine, and sanitized them when we got home. Getting the picture? We've stayed there before, but likely won't again. read more

Towels and bedding with hair are a pet peeve of mine. At this location, I found hair in both my beds, on pillowcases, and in towels. Found it on linens in a second room too. Can you say GHETTO!? My house needed some repairs and I had to temporarily be displaced for 2 days. Booked this place due to the good reviews on hotel.com and it was a thorough disappointment. The rooms have been remodeled with plastic wood looking floors. The bathroom has also been updated to a nice sink and granite countertops. However, the top cover on the beds have never been washed and has these large stains on them. Ewww. So the first night I sat in bed and watched movies in HBO, tried to sleep at 11pm, but there were people loudly yelling and stomping their feet outside. Tried to sleep again an hour later and there were more drunks shouting. The couple continue to fight and yell until 3:30am. Got no sleep! Next night, it was much quieter, so I went I sleep at 11pm. However, I was waken up by creaky bed noise from the next room and the couple yelling and loudly having sex. The walls were paper thin so I could hear all the dirty talking, cursing and moaning. Complained to staff that they probably have bed bugs she denied everything "we have a clean place we don't have that here". My son got bit by something I was there say evening till checkout time on monday. She said my son probably hot bitten at Denny's.lol not in the motel showed her pictures and everything and was still in denial. That place was clean. Housekeeper lady was nice. Motel 6 Chino, CA - Los Angeles Area 12266 Central Ave., Chino, CA 91790 (909) 591-3877 I checked-in Tuesday, October 12, @7: 30 pm., and checked out October 17, @10: 30 am., and when I arrived the place reeked of beach as if they were trying to hide something. I left the next day to go and visit and to get something to eat and when I returned the room had a foul odor and the walls are paper thin. It was the second sign of a place where maybe I should have asked for a refund and went somewhere else. I stayed in room 118. The door was not weather proofed or sound proofed and I could hear everything. The sound transmission between the floor above me and in the room was amazing! I heard the upstairs neighbor walked back and forth and moving a chair on the squeaky flooring until 12:30 am. I didn't get much sleep. A couple of days later, I noticed red bits or blisters on both of my thighs and the lower part of my legs were itchy. I crossed the street to go to Rite Aid and I picked up Benadryl and I've been using it since I came home. This place is more run down than the website makes it appear. Fist time staying in Chino. I've used other motel 6 around CA. but none have been as dirty as this one. There are cobwebs and spiders on each corner. When I first walked in I knew it hadn't been swept because I saw small pieces of black plastic pieces on the floor. The bathroom toilet had a weird seat on it & no cover, and it wasn't aligned right. If I hadn't been so tired, I would have gotten a refund and left. Floor had not been cleaned, long hair, Bobby pins and sequins left by previous guests. Beds were made but questionable cleanliness, tub and sink were left uncleaned. Door did not seal, cold air leaks a plenty. Parking lot dimly lit with some folks just "hanging out". Never stay here. The parking lot is full of tweakers, upon getting to our room the door was open, walking in the room looked hardly wiped down. I didn't even want my kids touching anything. There was poop and other things smeared on the walls that I had to clean. The room smelled like weed so bad, and by the time we were ready for bed the whole room smelled like cigarettes. If my parents hadn't paid for our room, I wouldn't have stayed here. But we have family members in another room here and unfortunately their stay isn't much better. First time staying at a Motel 6 and of course I pick the one in Chino since I was going to be in the area motel 6 is behind a restaurant. As soon as I was driving in I noticed a couple of males loitering outside of facility looking up to no good. My checking went well staff member was friendly and that was probably the only good part about it. I am a single female staying in the room, The room was tiny one side of the bed was against the wall which I didn't mind that much since I was only there for one night . At 6 AM I was woken up by my door being opened thank God I had placed the latch on the door. As I looked at the door a male was looking at me telling me he had a key to that room I rushed to the door and closed it. I call desk and a gentleman who answered said what's up Diego,, So at this point I am thinking is this his friend is he handing out room keys I explain the situation he told me to let this individual know to go to the front desk he apologized and said that it showed that the room was available. He apologize but needless to say I was scared how about if he handed the key when I was in there my stuff was in the room would it have been stolen come on I'm single alone and I have a man at my door it was very scary of course I got up and I was out of there by 7 AM I was turning in my key I explain the situation to the young lady that was there at that time and she just looked at me and said oh not caring for anything. That sure made me feel better. I will never stay at a Motel 6 again The one in Chino please think about it twice before staying here specially if you're a female by yourself.. scary event. read more

I didn't check-in my boyfriend was dealing with the staff, he wasn't happy. My restroom light flickering and there were red splashes on the door, I was trying not to overthink. In the front of the lobby, there's a sign mentioning that due to COVID-19, the housekeepers weren't going to be tending the rooms. We didn't mind picking up after ourselves, it was understandable, but it bothered us that despite that they didn't have to be constantly tending to our rooms, they were pretty rude in us asking for extra bags, TP, & towels. We rented 4 nights for a 3-day music festival somewhat nearby. It was perfect distance from the NOS Event Center. We got back to the room very late. I was so scaredand creeped out by a man down the hallway of the second floor. I hid behind my boyfriend as he was unlocking the door, and I can see that he was trying to see by peaking over to the side again and time again. Nothing happened. Finally, the young female in the front desk who attended us then, was so terrible at communication. We were having a payment concern so my bf went to ask if we could pay the entire stay in advance. I don't know how she kept getting lost in translation, but she couldn't comprehend what we wanted. She kept asking if we wanted to stay another night and not only that but I doubt she knew how to work the computer. She didn't know how to put in the system that we were paying for 4 nights and told us to wait for her manager to come back from lunch and won't be back for 2 hours. We said told ourselves thatd it be better to have the manager handle the money for our stay instead. So we agreed. We waited the 2 hours, went to get food and she wasn't back, so we checked again three hours later and the young attendant said the manager never came back but in another 2 hours, the next manager was taking over the night shift. We managed to catch the manager, we asked if we could pay in advance, in cash because we had it in hand, we've been waiting for her. She said that the payment was already taken from our card. We felt like she was just brushing us off so we called it a night and enjoyed the rest of stay. She LIED because they all were so lazy to deal with us that we had to deal with an overdraft. Do not stay in Room 114 or any of the rooms in the alcove near 114. The ice machine is near these rooms and makes an excessive amount of noise. There is also some kind of machine like a compressor that makes noise every 2 to 3 minutes. At 1:00 a.m. people were still using the ice machine and it was very loud. I was unable to sleep and just went the rest of the way home. I wish I would have spent the extra $20 for another hotel. If you stay at Motel 6 Chino California ask for a Room up stairs and away from the freeway and the corner of the building. Be advised Motel 6 is right next to the 60 freeway. read more

Worst motel 6 I've ever been to. The office was looked at 8pm and I had to knock hard to have someone come out of the back. When I was going to my car to get my things, the police pulled up and arrested 3 crackheads that were by the washing machines. Going inside, it strongly smelled like blunts were smoked that day in the room. I actually found ash next to the phone. There was hair on the bed sheets & stains all around the sink. The showers head was also broken & there was no lock on the bathroom door. The t.v didn't work, couldn't get any reception for some reason. I tried going to sleep but it was difficult bc the door didn't have a gasket around the edges so you can hear all of the cars driving by near the freeway. Also it was hard to get inside the room bc I had to insert the key card 20 times in order to get in!! The next morning I checkout early and tried to get complementary coffee that they promote... There's a huge problem with the short Hispanic woman that works the front desk during check outs and check ins. She is very rude and does not know how to speak to customers. I wish there were negative stars for this place. I am writing on behalf of my daughter so I am a bit fired up, but the way she was treated is deplorable! She went to Chino for an important event and made her reservation in advance. She showed up at the hotel with her infant daughter and her luggage after a long day of travel, but they refused to give her a room. She did nothing wrong, she had the money, and she would have stayed two nights, but they refused because she is under 21. At 19, she is an adult, but they would rather turn her and her infant away on the streets than make an exception to their policy. I spoke with the front desk agent and their manager, Marisa. The only explanation they gave was that it is their policy. I called to ask if there was some sort of a solution, but in a manner very uncharacteristic to those working in the hospitality industry, they could not come up with any solution other than turning away business to their own establishment. Note to Marisa and her front desk staff, if you do not want to serve your guests, make money, or even be helpful to your guests, you should work in another industry. A last helpful tip; make that restriction clear to guests BEFORE THEY MAKE THEIR RESERVATIONS and save us all the trouble! read more

Literally the worst most terrible service ever!!! I booked my room a week prior to my stay with plans to come to town for a nearby music festival. The day of, I called to confirm my room and see if I could check in at night- which was okayed by the person at the front desk. The night of, I arrive at the hotel. The most awful white trash blonde woman was there to "help" me check in. Once I showed my reservation and ID she told me I could not stay because I was 19. Mind you, I booked this motel 6 specifically because they are the only chain that allows guest 18+. I also confirmed ahead of time with a phone call as well as checking on the motels website. This lady was being a total b! My boyfriend offered to just rebook the room because he is 21, and she refused. This terrible rude and ghetto woman refused to help at all. We were left with no place to stay that night in SBs ~40 degree weather which we had to do for the following 2 nights. The next day I called the motel to find out that my room had been canceled by the motel with no notice- and given away before 2pm that day even though and later charged ME for "cancelling the room" which I never did. To make matters worse, when I called for my money back the motel never answered and was willing to help. Please never book here:))))))) this sht sucks. You cant expect much when looking for a cheap hotel. My expectations where low and I'm glad they were. I booked a room here for an early morning meeting I had a couple miles away. I just wanted a place to sleep and shower. At first, the rooms seem very modern and clean. The cheap wood amenities didn't bother me and the room seemed to meet my needs. I really was hoping to take a relaxing bath but two things prevented that. One, the tubs do not have plugs for their drains, and two, there was hair in my "clean" bathtub. Gross. I resolved to just brush my teeth and go to bed. The stopper in the sink was down when I turned on the water and suddenly the sink was half full of water and SOMEONE ELSE'S BEARD SHAVINGS from the visitor before me. With the sink and bathtub obviously not cleaned from the previous visitor, which I think are the two easiest things to clean, it really makes you wonder how clean the linens and cups are. My room was small so it's not like these things should be missed. If it wasn't for all the body hair left in my room, I would have enjoyed my stay a lot more and would probably return. It was nice for a motel 6 , a quiet location I believe there is still a 99 cent store near it , correct me if i am wrong and a Denny's. I got a room here off hotels.com it was a little cheaper then usual so I took it , the staff was friendly upon arrival , and even during the stay I asked for extra towels got them right away no problem. The only thing was , that the pool looked kinda creepy it looked like it was being remodeled with tarps near it kinda weird. It's near a freeway but can't hear any traffic or anything it's kinda hard to miss you see the big sign but it's way in the back behind some old restaurant. They have a little laundry room I don't know the prices on it , the sign says free wifi but in fact you have to pay and even when you pay it goes so slow and doesn't even work so it's not worth the extra 5-10 bucks it's stupid ! Every other hotel I been to has had free wifi motel 6 isn't that great to be an exception. It looked nice inside hardwood floors they finally changed those ugly bedsheets from 3 color flower pattern to a nice modern sheet of orange and gray if I can remember correctly. I would recommend if it's short notice no more then a day stay. read more

It was good for the first week. Then some big commercial truck with a air unit has to park out side of our room. And my dad has heart problems And we asked the driver to move nicely if he could move and he says he comes here all the time so tuff luck.. so called the office and he comes out and says yeah the other half of the motel said it was loud so we had him move over here but my dad has a heart problem and he parks right out side of our room. And we tell management and he tell us we can move to another room at 11:30pm like it's our fault and we should move.. not it's ur costumers heath over everything but yeah so that why u guys get a shitty review. Management needs to grow some balls and tell ppl to move there shit enstead acting all quiet and don't know what he's doing. So I would of gave u 0 stars but wouldn't let me. read more

Having stayed at this motel in the past, I found it to be a good value for the price. It is recently remodeled, offers a quiet environment, friendly office staff, and is well located to nearby culinary diverse food establishments. Unfortunately, my recent stay was extremely disappointing. Within the first two hours I had killed 4 cockroaches and 4 more in the next 5 hours. Additionally, the wood floor was so dirty that the bottoms of my feet were black after the first 15 minutes. The dirt was so thick that, clealy, the housekeeping staff had not properly done their job for quite some time. If you plan on staying at this establishment, it may be wise to reconsider your decision as there are two other motels within a half mile radius. When I discovered a roach on the wall next to the bed I decided to leave (around 3 AM); to their credit, I requested and received a full refund. read more

This is the only trash motel where an employee is able to make a life changing mistake and the customer will definitely pay for it. So I had a reservation for 5/27/2021, and upon my check in, I was double charged, only employee's that went above and beyond to try to rectify the issue was the guy Eric and the young lady who works with him. I can't say the same for the rest of the staff, actually Emily should be fired for not knowing how to check a customer in without double charging them, especially since motel 6 takes 5 days to refund after they take $1,411.98 out of your account instead of just the $705.78 . On top of that, no matter how much in a hurry you are go check your room if you plan on staying at this location, because the room that I was placed in looks like a homeless shelter which is another reason that I couldn't stay (1) night out of the original (11) nights that I was charged for, I would like to thank all the women that I spoke with on the reservation line for doing nothing as I expected, I would like to thank the general manager for this location who attempted to make herself feel good by acting as if shes helping me by giving me a refund that she would have had to give me regardless, eventhough I have to wait (5) days for a "MOTEL 6" employees mistake, if the moto is "We keep the lights on", then turn them off cause this location should be shut down period. read more

This motel 6 has the worst customer service of all motels hands down! The clerk that works in the office that checks customers in and out of their rooms has no clue how to do her job. My experiences with her each time should get anybody fired from their job if any of us treated and talked to customers the way she does. I dealt with her a handful of times and my reservations were booked on hotels.com. I would go in to meerly get my room key because my room was already paid for online and she would argue with me every time. The first time I came in I told her it was paid for and she argued with me and ignored my email I was showing her stating it was paid for. I kept my cool and told her to call hotels.com and she responded with she was calling the police!!! The cops! Meaning she was implying there had been a crime committed when all I was doing was checking in! I had to call hotels.com myself which takes 10 minutes roughly to get through and they told her all the same things she wouldn't listen or read from me. My last straw was I had booked a handicap room due to me being a combat veteran and have troubles getting in and out of a bath tub. She again argued with me and I had enough of her so I decided to stay in the room I already occupied for 6 days. She came to my room and told me that there's a $4 difference in price in the rooms and I owe the motel. So I gave her a $5 bill and she never returned. So I go up to the office after an hour or so and she now tells me it's a $12 and change difference so I looked up the difference on hotels.com and its $4. So I show her the page on the computer and she then tells me that it's $12 but she is going to wave the $7 I still owed them. I then told her no that I want my change back from my $5 since where I book its a $4 difference. She insisted that I had no change and so I told her that she was stealing my change due to me and she grabbed the $5 bill out of her pocket and threw it at me and told me that I had to check out the next day because I'm not welcome at the motel anymore! She got caught stealing and I'm the one not welcome! Each day is ask for a manager and I got the same response every time that the manager is not in everyday! My room did not get cleaned once in the 7 days I stayed there and I had to track down housekeeping to get my own towels and toilet paper! Mind you I'm a disabled combat veteran. So I will never set foot on that property again and I'm going to let the better business Bureau know all about the service I received as a legal citizen and a 12 veteran in our nation's special operations seeing combat in 10 rotations over an 8 year span. It wasn't just me either. I witnessed her do the same cowardly b.s. to a number of different paying customers! This is a time people like herself should be appreciative of having a job since there's millions of American citizens out of work do to covid and she shits on her customers regularly! Only giving 1 start bc I can't give zero. We booked a double room for 4 people. All the rooms are actually too SMALL for two beds. All of their pictures are modified to not show this...but the air conditioning unit actually OVERLAPS THE BED by about 10 inches. That means the wet, moldy, mildewing air conditioner will actually be touching the bed you sleep in all night...and furthermore taking up some of the sleeping space! This makes it impossible for 2 people to sleep in the bed. I took up my issue with the front desk where they laughed amongst themselves, talked in spanish, and then informed me that all of the rooms were exactly the same and that I just had to deal with it. I called expedia, and after an hour or so I was able to get a refund and stayed elsewhere. The rooms are all dirty (filthy) honestly. Our bathroom was not clean, and there were blood stains on our floor. I looked in on the pool while was on the phone canceling my reservation and it was disgusting. Dirt and junk floating at the top and plenty more settled at the bottom. The front desk is staffed by teenagers who think its hilarious to treat the guests like garbage. The supposed general manager could not have been a day over 18. This place is a joke...there is CHEAP and then there is trash. This place is TRASH. Never stay here. Ever. There is literally no reason at all to ever stay in this dump and deal with the rude staff here. read more

I stayed in Room 106 which is a handicapped accessible room. When I opened the door, the smell of mold and mildew hit me hard. When I went into the bathroom, there was black mold on the shower wall in the grout. When I took a shower, the fan didn't work hard enough to get the steam out so the very loud fire alarm went off. There was a 2 inch gap below the door so plenty of bugs crawled in and died on the floor. It was so bad, I left a day early. I complained about the room to the manager who refused to refund my payment. I complained to national and they said it is up to each manager. I complained to the local health department and even code enforcement and got no results. read more
