Horrible place and experience. Front desk is not even close to be trained hospitality. Manager is even worse, lots of rude looks and bitchy attitude with don't give a £uck tone when speaks to guests. If this place is cheaper then other greater options for visitors to stay in Chino Hills, doesn't mean admin has to treat you like piece of $hit. Honestly. What's up with the attitude like - if you came here, means no money to afford better place , therefore either take it or go f** yourself. So disgraceful. Had to cancel the reservation right after 20 mins of taking my time to cool down and after seeing the room where AC is right on top of the bed. Never have seen in my life such ridiculousness. How can AC be on top the bed, is it even safe? Plus they offer military/veteran discount they don't even mention during check in. First thing when I was entering the room, it smelled horrible like mildew or a closed room them has never been aired out. Second thing was after I took a shower and reached for a towel there were long hairs all over it so I reached for another one and same thing. Pillows on bed also had hairs on it. My mom booked a motel 6 for the wrong dates and the ladies at the table wouldn't help change the dates so we had to call customer service for the branch and they helped us. After we got the right date we had to wait a long time only for them to book us the wrong room. We originally booked a room with two full beds and we only have one. We went back to see if they could change our room and they did nothing. Also when my mom was in the lobby the women at the service desk were extremely rude and unhelpful. We've stayed at other motel 6 and all the other were super great but for some reason the people here are awful and unhelpful. Bad service, don't waste your money here. read more

The "manager"..Alan Kressman is biased and discriminates against anyone who vocalizes any concerns or objections about their stay. ***Note: IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS LOCATION..WRITE OR CALL MOTEL 6 CORPORATE FIRST..DO NOT ADVISE THE STAFF OR MOD.** I made the mistake of advising Mr Kressman that the cleaning staff knocked on my door early and loudly..waking me up far in advance of my check out time. I was advised by Mr Kressman he would make sure it "never happened again." When i returned a few weeks ago, i discovered at 4am by "Jose" that I had been banned from the location. He then began to laugh right at me. I had to leave humiliated and find last min accommodation. I called corporate/customer relations and was advised it was the manager's discretion to ban who so ever they will ; for any reason. This has lead me to believe I was discriminated against because of my race. I didn't play ' good little Negro' and pretend like everything was OK, Boss. I spoke up. I was very civil and polite about my request. I was basically called a liar and banned from the location. I considered retaining legal counsel and suing Motel 6 for unlawfully and irresponsibly exploiting manager discretion to discriminate against protected classes of individuals. But what's the point other than making lawyers wealthy ....? I was only sent to this location for work...and would never choose to go here for personal reasons. Caveat emptor! read more

I stayed here a year ago and was woken in the middle of the night by the local police dept with questions. Apparently the guy in the next room beat the hell out of his girl friend and took off. I stayed there again this week and it's still a dump. This place is renovated w hard wood floors but is ghetto AF. They charge for Internet and if you wanna swim, forget it, the pool looked like a lagoon. read more

I would never recommend this place to anybody. If i hadn't seen this with my own eyes, my brother drove out from Tucson, AZ, had a reservation with a confirmation number, got in early to do early check in, was told his room wasn't ready yet. He called back 2 hrs later and was told the same thing. He then called after 3:30 in the afternoon and was told he could not have a room because he was on a no room list for this location. Nobody could give him an explanation for this. I feel that hearing the way the staff talked to him was very unprofessional. I think this is pretty damm rude that they can just treat people like this and get away with it. After driving 8hrs and finding out at the end of the day that you dont have a room sucks. Stayed here 3 times in the past each time ROACHES fucking ROACHES. And thry charge for wifi and one employee said the faster apeed is just as slow and not worrh the money. I called the front desk right away and changed my room at 2 am woke up to my 14 yr old scraming she had a roach crawling on her face we called the front they said they were booked and we could leave if we liked. We packed and WALKED 2 miles to my brothers house and slept on the floor at 945 am went in to get our refund day shift said oh sorry we dont do that and they should have charged me for the second room too ARE YOU SERIOUS! !!!!! I don't even know where to begin but I can tell you don't stay here. If you're looking for a place to relax and that's clean with no roaches and that's quiet this is definitely not the place. This is a party Motel I was there last weekend Friday and Saturday night and barely got 3 hours of sleep because somebody was having a birthday party above my head and played hip-hop music which I love by the way but they played it constantly for 2 days.....(thin walls) from the moment they woke up and even when they went to sleep at night. I killed at least two roaches while I was there I could not keep trash or food in my room because the roaches would get worse. The only positive thing about this Motel is that it's in within walking distance of some of the best restaurants and the 99 cent store and Starbucks and Del Taco and the Chevron station that is the only positive thing I have to say about this motel and I will definitely never ever stay here again and I will take my 170 dollars for 2 nights and go somewhere else be aware and definitely don't take kids here. BTW there is no free Wi-Fi which every Motel has now you have to pay every 24 hours for the Wi-Fi which is bullcrap!!!! read more

If there was an option for (0) stars, I would have chosen that option. As a business, we booked 3 rooms for employees working nearby. We needed to extend the 3 rooms for a few more days and we booked through Hotels.com. Between Hotels.com and the Motel 6 only 2 rooms where extended and what they did which they referred to as "Hotel Policy" was atrocious, unprofessional, humiliating and bad business. We are a company who contracts services with the government We book hotel rooms for employees all over the United States and we have NEVER had such a horrible experience at a hotel. They proceeded to take the employees belongings out of the room (if another employee had not been there, her things would have been on the side of the road). Blacklisted her and told her "she was not permitted to stay at the hotel for failing to check out". Again, this was of no fault of her own. This was completely the fault of the Motel 6 and Hotels.com. Hotels.com refunded us immediately and sincerely apologized for the mishap. But When I called to get an explanation from the Motel 6, was offered no apology and nothing to reconcile the situation. I was basically told "it wasn't our fault and its hotel policy". As a company we are boycotting MOTEL 6 and we are no longer booking at this hotel chain. This hotel is mismanaged and not up to par with similar hotels in the area. AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS, ESPECIALLY BUSINESSES. We moved to the Mountain Inn down the street and where very well taken care of there and it was cheaper and much nicer. read more

motel 6 for me is a reasonable budge place to stay for a night or weeks. to top it, it is a pet friendly. so everytime i travel i check out motel 6 first. i've been staying at motel 6 for years but ghad!!!!! this freaking motel 6 chino is the worst!!!!! dirty unkept place, rude employees, bed bugs everywhere!!! they don't ask or knock on door if you need towels or toilet papers, they don't ask if you want house keeping. if you do ask for housekeeping or change of towels, they will look at you in the eye like you are a beggar for toilet paper!!! they throw soiled linens from upstairs to ditch downstairs! they wouldnot let you get ice!their eyes almost pop when you ask to be moved to different room as the room full of bedbugs!!!! the worst motel 6 ive ever been!!! sad theis chino motel in central ave is the worst!!!!rude employee, poor service and will blame customers for their freaking poor service!!!! stay away!!!! read more

We stayed here for a music festival. We walked in the room knowing not to expect much since it was so cheap to stay there. It looked fairly clean until I noticed my feet were completely black on the bottom after walking around the room barefoot. We moved the dresser to find dirt and wrappers/trash etc. The AC runs, but having it be 90+ degrees outside we had it on max cold the whole time and though it felt like it was blowing out cold air, the room still didn't get cold. We asked the front desk if there was anything they could do and they said they would send someone to fix it the next day. Not too positive if that ever happened, but there was no noticeable difference in temperature our whole stay. None of their vending machines worked but there's a Denny's, Starbucks, Chipotle, Chevron, and a smoke shop are all in walking distance. If you're looking for a cheap hotel just to rest your head, this is a good place. If your looking for a relaxing, clean hotel.. look somewhere else. I frequently stay at the location in Chino on Central Ave. Over the last 6 mths I've been there probably an average of twice a week. Last night I was in Room 112. The person above me kept me up all night with loud noises, walking, running, moving furniture. I really am not sure what they were doing. I went to the office and complain and called down to office for a Second complaint. At 8:15a.m. the noise was still continuing as I placed a third complaint. When I checked in my total in the office was a few dollars more than what my total online was. So the desk clerk gave me a 10% discount. I appreciated that. However when I went to pay for another day, I asked if I could be compensated due to the inconvenience and lack of sleep from the room upstairs. I was told I was already given a discount. I feel that is unacceptable and that I should have been given a better discount or comp. very disappointed in the lack of resolution to my complaint. read more
