Evidence of bed bugs... You get what you pay for. Bed is ok and hot water works in the shower.

Mud on the wall and staircase.

Not for families! This place is not well taken care of and it's borderline scary! The room I got looked recently painted, but that's about all it had going for itself. The restroom was disgusting and the bed was extremely uncomfortable and it's cleanliness questionable! The outside looks like hell! It seriously looks like it has never been cleaned. I know there was a storm a week ago or so, but that's no excuse for having mud all over the walls and walkways. Anywho, not recommended unless you have no other choice!

Killed this roach when I came in.

There are roaches. It's a place to sleep. Bathroom light consistently flickers, not worth keeping on. AC works well but is loud. Tv remote only does volume and power, but you can get up and manually change channel. No coffee or tea maker in the room. Fridge and microwave. No shampoo, just bar soap. Pet friendly, but we'd booked a king and had to downgrade because pets are only allowed in Queen rooms. 2 towels for a room with 2 people. No wifi passcode anywhere we could find, but there's cell service. Able to park our RV.

Stained sheets. Keep in the mind these were the replacements for the original stained sheets. Way to fix the problem Motel 6

If I could give zero stars I would. This Motel 6 is the Absolute worst! and I even used incorrect capitalization and punctuation on purpose. Do not stay here. 1. Used soap bar and mold in new room 2. Stained sheets. Yes that's right the first one were stained and the second set had more stains 3. Service and billing. Don't get sucked in by Tom Bodett's voice as he probably stays at a Hilton property. There's a reason why this location doesn't leave the light on for you as they don't want you to see the stains, mold, and overall dirtiness This location in King City is on par with the Red Roof Inn in Lompoc. Both should be avoided at all costs. You would be better off sleeping down by the river with the homeless.

    Broken shower head

This place is super dirty outside they should power wash walk ways to rooms . Now the rooms no complementary soaps not even to wash hands. Shower towel look like dirty rags very old and dirty . I needed more towels so I asked the cleaning ladies they were completely rude so then I called the front desk finally got towels hours later horrible. The sheets are old with stains. And the showerhead was broken the shower was dirty like it's stained dirty I don't even know if you can even clean them that's how old these motels are but yet they want to charge us $150 a night. Ridiculous all the motels I'm that area are over priced And OWNERS ARE CHEAP ! They really need to buy new towels and pillows and linen and redo showers and Showerheads. LOOKS NOTHING LIKE PICTURES very deceiving!

If I could give this a zero I would. First the check in was horrible the guy at the desk was not helpful. It also had a strong Indian food smell. I had asked for a bottom floor room which I was told they could accommodate but didn't have at my check in. Then I get into the room and nothing works. The Ac/heater was broken, the lights kept flickering, it was not clean at all. I get that it's a cheap room but it was incredibly grossed. I wanted to check out but was not give a refund. I'm glad I was only here for one night because it was one night too much

bug poop on smoke alarm above bed

Jan 29, 2024 rented a room at Motel 6 for the first time in King City, CA. At 7:33pm, sent photo's to a family member showing bugs, fly poop above the bed, dirty bathroom, dirty air filters, torn sheets. Jan 30, spoke with location at 9:50am (Clarice who was GREAT) and emailed photo's, she said cleaning staff was coming in at 10am, they'll get that room taken care of. Had to wait for Mgr. to call. At 330pm, called Bobby, he said nothing wrong with the room (which they had probably already cleaned so he wouldn't see it!), but he can't explain how I would have pictures of the room within less than an hour after checkin. I considered sleeping in my truck it was so disgusting while I stare at the ceiling with an alarm covered in fly crap. I slept with my clothes on and the pillow inside of a tshirt because it was so bad! No shower, it was NASTY. I couldn't get out of here fast enough and am now staying in Paso Robles at a decent hotel! I want my $80 cash reimbursed. Location was great, cleanliness, non existent.

So I stayed at this location February 12 and 13. In the bathroom there was black mold in the shower. I called the hotel and spoke with housekeeping supervisor and she hung on me. I tried to get in touch with the manager never got a call back. Spoke with someone by the name of Bobby he stated he was not the manager. But then the next day the lady on the phone srated Bobby was the manager. They continue to ignore my phone calls and the manager is not there. Called corporate office and they looked into it. This location told me they would not refund money cause I refused for room to be cleaned. But they cleaned rhe room and made the bed. I would highly recommend no one to ever stay at this location.

When we lifted the covers we found lots of crumbs in the bed (we had JUST checked in)

Nice, clean, large, well laid out swimming pool that has a large grill within the area (didn't use, dog tired).

What everyone else said. Solid little hotel…read more This place is bare bones. You don't even get shampoo...just soap. The TV is a 27" tube...but it works well. Decent selection of channels, and it's clear. As far as the basics are concerned, the room is clean, comfortable, and quiet. The wall A/C unit is relatively new, my room was kept nice and warm all night. ...for $50/night (including tax) the value is amazing. Just set your expectations accordingly.

Clean, cramped, recently remodeled bathroom. Single-story, enclosed parking lot…read more We were a little apprehensive about staying here, since there is no marketing, no web page, no posted prices, etc. but as it is higher rated (and deservedly so) than the Soledad hotels and also fairly close to Pinnacles National Park, we wanted to give it a try. If you think about staying here, ask for prices when you call. I called a few days ahead to make a reservation - no problem. We got there about 3 pm, rang the doorbell at the locked office door (quickly answered by the owners), checked in, and left our suitcases and a cooler in the room. Fairly big refrigerator right inside the door. Nicely painted room, two queen beds, not much room to spare around the beds. Didn't explore much before heading off to Pinnacles and dinner. We returned after dark, and chatted with another couple who had stumbled - almost literally - on the place while driving from Arizona to Seattle. They had just exited 101, and drove up Broadway until they found this place. We got into our room, and settled in. No evidence whatsoever of bugs in the room, our main fear. The mattress was comfortable, the A/C worked, the flat-panel TV worked (Spectrum cable). Not an overabundance of free electrical outlets, but we managed to find enough to charge our phones and plug in our laptop. The bathroom had been recently remodeled, with a new sink, new countertop, new mirror, and evidently a newly tiled shower enclosure with 1950s teal and peach colors - cheery! No exhaust fan, but a screened window that opened onto the sidewalk of the street outside, fortunately deserted at 10 pm. The towel hooks look like they came from Temu, though, pretty insubstantial, and won't last long. The internet, as others have mentioned, worked flawlessly, far better than Marriotts we've stayed at. There is an ice machine in a corner of the parking lot. We were charged $100 in August of 2026 for the room. Quite a bargain .
