Warning! The so called homeless population that lives around the Jack in the Box on the other side of the fence is really pushy, and they park their stolen cars at the Motel 6. Do NOT stay here unarmed! Police frequents the hotel but would need to be stationed here permanently. Also they cut costs to the extreme when it comes to everything. No real pillows, no blackout curtain, no housekeeping on multi day visits, no shampoo just soap bars, just a single towel pp, only half a roll of toilet paper, toilet door out of alignment (does not stay shut). Crap motel and garbage customer service. I had to continuously ask for basics like towels and toiletries. Don't expect room service before 5-6pm. By the third or forth day of having to ask for new towels and only getting them in the evening I complained. The next morning I was told that my reservation cannot be honored due to an incident (they wouldn't say what it was but I assume it was me complaining about not getting the basics -towels/toiletries) and I had three hours to check out/find new accommodations. Low level hotel and even lower level unprofessional staff (one of the "ladies" at the front desk was chewing on her nails the entire time she was talking to me (it was nauseating to watch) I didn't even get a chance to complain about the ants/bugs in the room but at least I can share this info with potential customers. read more

Ok I'm smh! I went to check into this motel 6 about 2 weeks ago. The manager was checking me in. I told her I had a Priceline reservation that I was pulling up. As I'm getting ready to show it to her, she tells me I don't have a reservation.  Tells me shes booked and refuses to look at my phone. Then all agitated tells me she will give me a room but charged me $25 more than I would have paid! Did she just come up on me?? Then this happens... July 4th. Rented a room. Checked out on the 5th. Now my 9 yr old grandsons job is to check under the beds before we leave. He did. And then a girl comes to the door to tell him good bye.  So later the same day, I'm looking for my wallet. My grandson pops up and says oh it's under the bed Grandma at the motel. Smh! Ok... I call the motel and the same lady that I encountered with my reservation issue answer the phone and tells me you've already called and asked me about your wallet I told you it's not here. I told her I'm not called you at all until right now. She basically told me not to call back again that it wasn't there. So last night two days later I go and I check into the motel and in the morning I'm looking for the head maid to find out about my wallet because it's my wallet and I need it. I go by the office to check out and the other staff person was standing there and I told them I lost my wallet. It was left under the bed can you help me find the head maid person.  He asked me which room we were in and I told him and he went back into the office and he came out and was going to go and look for the head made. When that manager came out of that office and told me what room are you in I said 401 she said 401 good you're not allowed back on the property again your wallet  is not here. Wtf? You're  putting me on the list of people not allowed on the property. Just because I'm  asking about my wallet again? She got all flustered. I asked her what's your name? she didn't want to tell me and then she says her name. And basically tells me to get the hell out and don't come back. Wait.. did she just come up on my wallet? So I called the corporate office to complain and the lady was very nice and she took the complaint. And then I asked her what's going to be done about it and she said the complaint was written and that if I ever want to go back on the property I have to work it out with the manager. The same manager who obviously already has something against me. That was all that can be done! All she did was document and nothing else could be done about it. Wait... Did the manager just came up on my wallet. I asked her who the manager answers to? Who's her direct bos. This is the worst motel 6 ever. And one of the other people that left a negative review is right. They can't take constructive criticism. After my husband went to the front desk and fought for what was right. The manager who is far from a good manager put him on the do not rent list. And then 3 days later put me on that list when I never had any encounter with her or any problems. I think this is super unfair and by far no good customer service. I've been renting here for years n years and just because they didn't like what my husband had to say this is what happened. And we even called corporate and all's they said was sorry. I wish I would've read the reviews before coming here. The first night was okay. Bed was a bit small and uncomfortable. The room smelled like a smoking room, which we asked for a non-smoking room. There was puke on the side on the parking lot, just a few steps before the room. (Room 150) We can deal with that right! But anyways the next morning me and my boyfriend woke up with bug bites. Mine were not inflamed, but my boyfriends arm was swollen. We weren't sure if we got bit from the bugs from the beach or the motel. So, I decided to search up the reviews on the motel. The rooms had many things wrong with them and when asked to be fixed, no one ever came to help. I hope they have the decency to step it up and take some pride in themselves and run a proper place where people enjoy to come and stay. I mean if I am paying good money that I worked hard for, to stay somewhere the least they could do is be professional. No need to be rude, ever! My husband and I have stayed here close to 8 times over the last year... we're always on a tight budget so that's what usually brings us back. Here are some pros and cons... Pros- The drive to Disneyland is simple and close, you just go down Western ave and turn on to Ball Rd and it drops you off at Mickey and friends... Depending on the day of the week you can snag a good deal on a room here on booking with free cancellation and no prepayment needed which is important to us. Pretty quiet, I've seen some of the reviews about noise complaints but honestly my husband and I have never had a problem with noise. I wouldn't say the rooms are filthy but they are pristine either, but my husband and I are pretty rugged and small stuff doesn't bother us, we bring our own towels and blankets and pillows on our Disneyland trips so we don't have those issues. Now the cons- We see cops circling the parking lot, everyday, at least once a day. One of the biggest cons for us is the shower set up, my husband and I like to shower together and. The showers at this property are what we call "pod showers" it's barely big enough for one person, and the curtain sticks to you while you shower, and you know they don't clean those things very often if at all... The rooms lack fridges and microwaves which would be really handy for people traveling on a budget. Parking sucks sometimes when it's really busy Not a lot of convenient places to buy snacks or food without having to drive somewhere (jack in the box is in the same plot of land as the hotel but you can only eat jack in the box so many times...haha) We've seen some questionable people walking around the property, I think half the property is used for long-term stays which translates into people who are living in the hotel. A lot of people mention the office staff, I have encounter the two ladies mentioned before without incident for our experiences, we did have one sour experience with the one male employee people have mentioned. After driving 7+ hours and a half day at Disneyland we came at 2:35 and asked to check in as we were dosing off in the car and were ready for a shower and a nap and he wouldn't budge on the check in time and had us come back at 3, in which a long line had formed from what I assume was all the other people he wouldn't check in before 3, so we ended up having to wait long enough to where we didn't get into our room until after 3:30...but that was only once in the 7 or 8 times we've stayed here. The pool isn't heated so if you plan on taking a dip prepare for the coldness haha read more

For the most part if they have a room available before check in time, they will rent it to you and get you in to a room ASAP, they are very nice and welcoming and the rooms are decent. I like using my aarp there and being able to get a great discount and a later checkout. this motel 6 is not only reasonable but you get great service. the ladies in the office help you right away if you have any problems. they got me in very quick. the rooms are clean and nice very updated. the maids very helpful anything you need they get it for you if they don't have it they'll go get it and bring it back to you. Stayed her for one night with a group of 12 people. We booked three double bed rooms, all were in conjunction with each other which we liked. Quick & fast check-in. None of the rooms had a cigarette smoke smell. Thank god! Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, & the rooms appeared to have been recently remodeled.. No free wifi. There are two security guards on duty at night.. Also there are two giant ice machines at the lobby, & a vending machine. It would be nice if they would sell personal hygiene items at the lobby. Company pictures are mostly photoshopped. I give them an "B" for that effort. I can see how the retro design part of it would cater to the younger crowd. Noisy upstairs, for you can hear every time the guest above would walk and move the chair around. After the 3PM OMG Checkin we settled in and the Guest above us was still moving a bed or chair around for 35 minutes..... The retro chairs need cushions underneath them. If you need a quick place to stay understand that the prices are pretty affordable. However looks can be deceiving when you angle the rooms to make them look bigger than they actually are. There has been a lot of minute maintenance on the room. Some is pretty obvious; others I "can" overlook..... if I was a college student.....the showers' drain port had so much rust I think I may need a tetanus shot... read more

Excellent! I was there for a week and I liked it. Its as good as you're going to get for that price. 1. The price was affordable ($55.99 a night) 2. I love the new modern rooms (the flat screens, the colors, ambient lighting) 3. I love that it was clean (most important!) 4. I love that I felt safe! 5. Unfortunately our stay was the worst!!!!!! I had reserved a "premium" room because apparently only those have bathtub! And a refrigerator, we walk in our room and bam no fridge and no tub AND our tv remote didn't work I called front desk and was told they didn't have any available, that they would note it for the following day. Next day comes and I am told by a different employee that none of the rooms at that location have a tub!!!!! The frustration at that point! My boyfriend and I came from far away and when I arrived to check in the front lady told me there was a note that stated I didn't check in my guest last time I stayed there clearly it was BS! Because I know I did and they even called my damn room to confirm. She told me she couldn't give me the room tonight due to that reason. Even when I was there, there was another lady on the phone talking to the police about evicting a guy who was trying to break into another guest room, she looks at the other lady and asks should we evict him because if we do we will have to give him a refund. I rented a room at motel 6-Stanton, because Buena Park was booked. Biggest regret ever. I took an early check in to prevent the room getting booked, and then I worked all day. I'm a door dasher so you can imagine I was quiet busy for 4th of July. I looked forward to resting my head all night. I'm finally in the room for not even 10 minutes when I am greeted by two gigantic cockroaches with wings. Ughh!! I tried to get an immediate refund, but I couldn't talk to the manager, James until this morning. These circumstances left me no choice but to sleep in the car. It can very well be confirmed on camera that I did not sleep in that room and that I went to the lobby to complain. When I spoke to James this morning he acted like I was trying to rip the motel off, HAA!!! Horrible attitude and only offered a percentage off. While sitting on the toilet I looked up to 2 brown roaches on the wall. I was already doing my thing and 1 was crawling next to the toilet paper dispenser. The other was on the wall next to my bath towel. Both within arms reach as I tried to finish. It made my skin crawl. I had my phone and took pictures. I submitted the pictures to the front desk and asked what they were going to do. Their reply was to inspect the room before offering any discount or refund. I returned to my room and looked around and found a dead roach and I moved the desk and TONS of dirt and food crumbs were underneath. They said they were going to inspect the room before they offered me a discount. I waited in the infested room over 5hrs for a different room and someone to inspect it. That never happened.
