So they tried to give us a one bed when we paid for a two queen room. ( We had proof and our reservations had pictures of the room we reserved so there's no way there would be a mix up.) They said they were fully booked and this was it and that this is the room we had on or reservations on their system. (Yeah right. They still tried to charge us for the larger room btw.) We had to be somewhere asap so we left, came back and tried to talk to the man at the front desk again... Same song and dance. We were about to give up when we noticed the broken bed as soon as we sat on it. Then we looked underneath and saw the dried blood stains. . . . Yeah, we got out of there the very next minute. I stayed here for one night probably about 3 weeks ago with a friend and we saw that it had great reviews. We couldn't book an air bnb or another place since a lot of places were full. We thought this place would be awesome since it had good reviews. It was a late night and we didn't want to drive for the night because we were super tired. Came there and the guy at check in was super nice. Woke up in the middle of the night itching and it felt like I was getting bitten by something. I woke up to a few welts on my legs to find that I had been bitten by bed bugs. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night not even checking out. Couldn't another place so slept in the car in a nicer neighborhood. Thankfully I didn't go home with anything from there. Didn't ask for a refund or anything because it wasn't worth doing. Just wanted to leave. This review has been in my drafts for awhile. So it could be different now and hopefully this issue has been resolved. Would I stay here again? I don't think so. The only good thing about this place is the price. $85 per night isn't bad at all, and given the location it was very reasonable and was very discreet and private. The only issue I had after staying here twice was the WiFi service. It was horrible! Why have 3 different WiFi but none can even load? Also I had two different rooms each time, and some rooms don't even have an outlet next to the bed, like...? I had to move cabinets to even plug in my chargers. Also the bathrooms are very, very tight. Why is my head so close to the wall when I'm sitting on the toilet? Regardless it was an okay inn. Its not super packed. This place has microwave and fridge and a cool shower and pretty big room. It does seem like when the white sheets seem stained(slight tint to pillow cases and one was missing) they still use them and maybe clean them. But when I pulled back a cover a black hair appeared which makes me think it wasn't cleaned? But by the time we got there it was late and we crashed out The AC works good but heater comes out as slow as the internet, which didnt seemed to work most of the time. If you want a nicer shower then yes this place seems okay but if you wanted a nicer stay I'd probably look for some place who cleans sheets properly or use ones that don't show stains as much as white does, this may help with appearance of cleanliness. Upon checking in yesterday at 3 p.m., as I entered my room, I quickly noticed the large bathroom mirror had a very dangerous and massive crack. Looking into the bathroom, I noticed a puddle of water sitting along the wall. Looking further, oh, the wall is split open from ceiling to floor. I alerted the front desk, and he replied ( oh yeah umm, looks like maintenance broke everything). Sorry he said. Next episode, room next door began slamming his door as Im heating up dinner. Door slamming progressed until i observed him in the parking lot, giving me hand gestures. Early morning, approaching me car, I noticed the room next door had the blinds open and were obviously observing me. BEWARE OF BED BUGS stayed here for one night before going on my trip to disneyland. if you don't look too carefully, the room seems clean, but thats not really the case. i highly advise you to check thoroughly before staying. the morning i checked out i noticed a few bumps which i thought were mosquito bites, however it became more unbearable throughout the day. i already thought it was weird when i woke up seeing tiny blood spots on my pillow. bed bug bits typically appear hours after they bite so i wasn't able to notify the front desk right when we check out. however, when i made the call to notify the hotel, NOT asking for compensation or anything else, the lady wasn't very understanding. she kept asking why i didnt tell them when i checked out, but like i said i had no idea it was bed bugs til after. as a hotel manager, it is YOUR responsibility to keep the hotels clean and safe from bugs. as a customer i expected a safe and relaxing environment but ended up with even more stress to deal with after. read more

It's a cheap motel, what more can I say? I was incredibly satisfied. My two buddies and I left Phoenix at 1:30 AM, spent the whole day at Disney, arrived here at 11:30 PM, and slept like rocks. Didn't hear neighbors, the shower was surprisingly warm! The AC worked great. Beds were perfectly fine, totally clean. Only odd things was the sinks had a poor smell when water was running through them and some of the paint was chipping. If you have never stayed in a motel before, get ready. Always check for bed bugs and roaches (there were none). Rooms are clean but make sure your linens are good (they were). My friend that grew up wealthy was rather shocked but myself and my poorer friend were delighted by this motel. read more

Please trust the other reviews on here that mention how obnoxiously rude and inconsiderate these people are. I arrived earlier than the check in time. Rang their doorbell countless times, even called multiple times. We even heard the phone ringing in the back and nothing. So we leave. Call back at the check in time and was told "yeah, I heard you. Check in time is at 3." so I asked "you heard me waiting out there and you ignored me?". I was rudely reminded that check in was at 3. Side note, I was there around 1:30pm. This was not extremely early in the morning. I've never heard of a "hotel" or even a motel where they wouldn't at the VERY LEAST come out and say that we have to come back at 3. That would be understandable. However, this lady straight out admitted that she ignored us while we stood there forever waiting to be helped after a 4 hour drive. I went to walk around the place just to find someone to see if they were even operational. The place did not look like it was even in operation. Dirty, doors wide open to laundry areas, rooms, etc with no one around. It looked like a squatter house. At that point, I didn't even want to stay. The lady (after admitting she ignored me) refused to give me a refund and started yelling at me before she just hung up on me. This place should not be in business. I really hope they get shut down because not only is it physically disgusting, but it's disgusting how they treat people. You're better off at a Travelodge or Motel 6 - seriously do not go here. Stayed here 2 nights with my girlfriend. Girlfriend checked in before I arrived. She put my name and car down. And when I tried to get my own key the woman said my girlfriend didn't. That was weird from the jump. Then we had a 50$ security deposit they refused to give back said the room "smelt like weed " when we did not smoke or touch the smoking detector(it even has the stickers on it) so the woman argues and raises her voice and a young guy comes out and yells "get out of here niggas" My girlfriend is black and I am white. I didn't know how to react in the situation so I left. These people are racist liars scammers and their towels and sheets were stained and chairs were stained. Bathroom Shower curtain had musty smell. Front desk lady was not flexible to change the room. Also asked for upper level. She said its all booked but I saw only few cars in the parking lot! Also net connection weak. She was very non-flexible. I had throat infection after living there as the room atmosphere was not good! Also they charged for $60 as security at the time of entry but didn't refund at the time of exit. My family and I needed to find a room last min for one night before we checked into the Cambria the following day. We booked the two queen beds and paid about $150. The check in was fast and easy there is a holding deposit of $60. When we first opened the door we instantly noticed the smell, my husband said it's a smell like mold in the walls and ceiling. There was mold on the ceilings in the bathroom, one of our bed didn't even have a fitted bed sheet on just a flat sheet on the bare mattress. The bed are very uncomfortable probably because it is heavily worn out. We were glad to get out of there the next day. I probably wouldn't be booking here again. read more

Very comfortable, and the deposit was cheap. The bed was a little creaky and the paint flaking off the walls in the bathroom (why they didn't keep the pink paint that the bathroom apparently used to be adorned in, I'll never know), but there wasn't really anything hindering how comfortable we were. The only thing I'd mention is that it isn't wheelchair accessible- as far as I know. The entry doors are wide enough, but the doorway to the closet/bathroom definitely wouldn't be wide enough to fit a chair through. I think a particularly broad-shouldered person wouldn't quite fit without turning their body a little, honestly. Aside from that glaring issue, I honestly sort of liked the place. And this isn't to say that there isn't possibly a more accessible room, or one that differs from ours in terms of doorway sizes. It's just something I noticed during our stay. read more

We booked a Double Deluxe Queen Bed room but at the time of check in, the lady at the front desk told us that in their system they only see a "single queen bed" room instead of the "double deluxe queen bed" room that we booked. Even in the confirmation email we have the picture of the room with the double queen bed and a room description " double deluxe queen bed" room. When I asked is there a mixed up and is there anything that they can do for me to sort this out, the lady just said this is not their problem and nothing they can do about it. Very inflexible and answer with a tone that "we don't care about your problem and you need us, not we need your business". This is just rude this was the first time we came across customer service like this. The weird thing was, we have booked a few times in the past with the exact room description and picture in the confirmation email and got the double deluxe queen bed room, BUT NOT THIS TIME. We tried to contact the online agency where we booked the room and they said that the hotel is trying to play around with wording and with the picture of the double queen bed in the confirmation email, this is consider false advertising. They said that they have heard a few customers reported to them about this hotel but unfortunately they cannot do anything to help me. So please beware and book else where instead. DoNot stay here unless you want to be filmed!! I'm about 90% sure there are small camera in the smoke detectors. I've got moved to two different rooms and the smoke detectors are the same. Their smoke detectors look so weird. One large bulb and the regular small light that sometimes blink. The large bulb is the camera I'm sure of it. Literally all smoke detectors look the same but these make me feel like I'm being watched. On top of that there is a note on the smoke detectors that says "removal of this will result in fine" or something like that. I should've taken a picture of the smoke detectors but given the type of place it is (a roach motel/ shady looking characters residing long term) I'm sure it's a camera bc the only way they'd know if someone removed the detectors is is they see it! Stayed here for my LA/Disneyland trip. The price is the only reason why I stayed here. I guess you get what you pay for. The rooms look better online. My bed was very uncomfortable and squeaky . The room seemed clean but the floor were gross and there was black mold in my bathroom. I liked that they cleaned the rooms everyday but one day I requested not to have the room cleaned and they came in and did it anyways. The pool is small and cute but had a dirty film on top of the water. I felt through out my stay here the towels that were replaced were still dirty... Last month, we stayed 6 nights at this motel and had 2 rooms. We had to leave the fan on in the bathrooms all day and night to get the bedrooms less of the sewer smell. They either didn't seal the toilet, or the sewer got clogged. There are no electrical outlets near the nightstand, so we had to charge our phones from the ones below the TVs. The mattresses are old and soft. We can see cockroaches in all sizes. The biggest one is about 2 inches. There was one night that we had already turned off all the lights and there was a cockroach flying and landed on my head. One day, I was just finishing using the bathroom and stepped out. Suddenly, I heard a noise that something fell down in the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door and saw the cover of the vent dropped on the floor. Luckily, I walked out just 10 seconds before that. Otherwise, it would fall on my head while I was using the toilet. Our experience at this motel is very bad. WE WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL. THE HEALTH INSPECTORS SHOULD COME TO THIS MOTEL AND CHECK IT OUT. read more

booked on expedia while my apt was getting fumigated, this was a convenient and reasonable rate without having to be out of my way. service was prompt and clear (i think they live on site). $50 refundable deposit when booking here FYI. Room was exactly as expected, it had the necessities: queen bed, two nightstands, two wall lamps that emit supermarket quality fluorescent bulbs with wall switches, and the main light switch at the entry door hits the main room and closet light. the bathroom was a little cold (couldn't figure out where the draft was, but oh well). Closet had hangers, no safe in the room, but a rather large mini fridge and microwave were present at least. large LCD wall mounted tv with directv/hbo channels available. bath amenities were minimal, shower is a little slippery (no non-slip rubber mat inside the tub, so be careful) and takes a bit of finangling to get the hot water to your ideal temp in the shower -i basically got HOT or just too hot to be warm-hot but i dealt with it. no bugs in the bed/room or bath, minimal noise from neighbors and housekeeping was on point. paint and finishes looked good. walking distance to local shopping center with lots of food options available. read more

the lady at the front desk decided not to give me my money back from the deposit. I have worked in the hotel industry for four years and I have never seen such a liar at the front desk in my life on something that was blatantly obvious. At night time the drawer at all hotels is counted and closed out for the next shift of night, I checked in after midnight of the room was $319.45 plus $50 deposit($369.45) and I gave her $380 cash. Meaning she owed me $10 and some change. Instead she just gave me the key and not my change. I figured she wasn't able to get the cash from the draw for the night priors shift and she would give me the rest when I checked out. Come behold, she lies straight to my face and told me she gave me my change saying " You gave me the exact amount", which i didn't. Will not stay here again. Let me add, the towels in the room are dirty every time so I used my own and used there's to clean the floor and tables, the bed sheets also stained. I took them off for replacement and they were put right back on. The housekeeping continues to disturb you throughout the day to go into your room even when you say you don't want service. Mould growing in the bathroom due to lack of airflow, no fricking window or fan. Air conditioner smells like it hasn't been cleaned in years and there's dust all over the TV. Water pressure is terribly low. Nearly shit myself when a homeless guy kept walking past my room and trying to look into the window. The service from the owners is absolutely poor quality. Thought this place was worth it but, definitely Not. I'd rather pay extra to stay in Newport Beach. read more
