Less than one star. Horrifically rude staff (not one hello, welcome ir thank you)..zipped thru check in without even acknowledging me. I had asked for ground floor unit due to mobility issues and was told that would be accommodated. It was not! Instead we got an outside two sets of stairs and an around the corner walk unit. Right above the pool with screaming kids (who were having fun, but I checked LOUD fun) until about 11. Then the party started next door with yelling, laughing g, banging on walls and slamming doors. I called staff about1 am and again at2 am. I was usurped "something" would be done;but nothing was done. Around 4 am someone was trying to get back into a room and started banging on our door and several around us drunkenly demanding to be let in. Again call to staff was this is a safety issue. NOTHING was done. It became obvious their staff is trained at the do t give a shit institute. The rooms were old, beds felt like straw and the heat did not work. Check out even worse. Avoid this place no matter what. read more

Stayed there with 2 friends Friday 6/22/18. Outside temperature about 85 degrees. No air conditioning! As per the Front Desk gal when we checked out Saturday morning it has not been working as long as she has worked there which was 3 months. Failed to mention the problem when we checked in but happy to take our money for two rooms. Drenched with sweat trying to sleep despite being buck naked on top of the sheets. Water pressure sink and shower somewhere between a trickle and not much at all. We surmised while continuing the trip that it must be a franchise motel owned by some seriously cheap SOB. Guess what? Company owned. I know Motel 6. I was not expecting 5 Star all inclusive but this was far beyond the pale. Methinks never again at any Motel 6. read more

The rooms would have been fine but the lack of a hairdryer, hot water, lack luster water pressure, shampoo and the nerve to charge for Wifi make this motel very unappealing. I would only recommend this place if you just need a bed to sleep in and your stay is short. I did not feel very welcome on my stay and wouldn't recommend this place because they cut any corners they can. read more

day 13-14ish of my nation wide tour so i got in here late. almost midnight. cuz its mountain time here so i lost an hour. and somehow my 8 hour drive took me 11 hours. damn mountains! i got the room for cheap. 35 bucks. but after tax its a bit more. its just a clean generic motel 6 room. generic meaning they use the same design and furniture in every motel 6. seems like i'm an expert at hotels and motels. but thats another story buahaha. anyways i had a hard time sleeping. all the time driving alone and being in my room alone kept me thinking about everything. i started to this not looking for anything. just wanting a fun story. but i feel like i will end up finding something at the end whether i want to or not... anyways i ain't gonna rate this against nice hotels. but for what it is, it did the job and its nice enough. but no wifi til june. dammit! read more

This is the WORST Motel 6 I've ever stayed at! It is shabby and run down. The room I'm in has a floor that slopes like it's going to fall in. The head of my bed is literally 2" lower than the foot! WTF? Literally half the rooms have no working air conditioning. Unfortunately I booked on Hotels.com so I couldn't cancel or get a refund once I showed up and saw what a piece of shit this hotel is. We have had the mindset that "all we need is a bed and a shower" so chose this motel for the price. But, we've had better values for the price that we did here. Very basic. Laminate floors. Clean. The double beds were all the way to the walls. The blankets were like burlap--so rough. We were so tired we just tried not to think too much about it and make the best of it. The motel staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to supply a box fan for us when we asked. No coffee in room. After we left and spend almost $30 on breakfast somewhere, we realized the value of spending more for a nice room with a hot breakfast! read more

We had a wedding in town the same week as a baseball tournament. So.. places were full. This place wasn't and had decent looking pictures. We got there... I took my kids in the lobby with me and my oldest told the clerk he was so excited to swim. Well we get to our room... it's the size of a walk in closet. The shower is smaller then the showers on cruise ships. We reserved 2 queens... their queens are really fulls. The pillows are hard and lumpy. And I had to listen to a group of teenage girls gossip all night through the paper thin walls. Skip to the next day... no breakfast.. so we had to spend $40 at Denny's. While at breakfast we discover a tick in my sons head.... it was not there the day before. We show the front desk and their response " oh it's just a tick. They're thick here... at least it wasn't bed bugs". The. We get ready to go swimming.. just To get to the pool to realize it's padlocked. I called the front desk to ask why... "oh it's broken". So why werent we told that from the clerk that my son talked about swimming too? After that we were done... we called around and miraculously the Hampton had an opening and I would give them 6 stars if possible. We told motel 6 we were leaving and they said they could give us only half of 1 days cost back..... never came back but I wasn't going to even deal with them for $40. Dont stay Here. You don't sleep and you may end up with Lyme disease. read more

Decent, considering that it's a Motel 6. My friend and I only chose to stay there because they allowed pets, and we were traveling with two cats. Relatively clean (although somewhat smoky smelling in the supposedly non-smoking room) and fairly quiet. read more

I like Motel 6 because it's very cheap, and while the rooms are basic and nothing to write home about, they are always clean. There were some problems with tonight's stay though. I booked through booking.com and they're systems were down so I had to pay Hotel 6 directly and then call booking.com to cancel the reservation through them. While I ended up paying $20 less than booking.com quoted (which made my hotel room less than dinner for two at Outback Steakhouse), it was still a hassle I'd rather not have to deal with, though honestly it wasn't their fault. Oher than the reservation problem it was as nice as any other Motel 6, which for me is as good as I ever need. read more

This is a clean Motel 6. When we arrived the clerk told us that there were no non-smoking rooms available. He let us do a "sniff test" of our room before we agreed to take it. It wasn't too bad so we just opened the window & turned on the bathroom exhaust fan while we were at dinner. If you're looking for the bare minimum this is the place for you. The rooms were small, beds full size, sheets and bedding the bare minimum but for fifty bucks a night my husband, our four small children, great Dane and cat all got some shut eye. After driving for eleven hours they even let us check in early (8a.m.) instead of making us wait until one which was a God send since I don't think we could have safely stayed awake until then. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Prime location. If you come during warmer months they even have a nice outdoor pool. read more

Stayed there 3 times this year but never again. Lobby has new signs requiring photo id for ALL adult occupants, AND scanned ID. Rude, intrusive, very insecure, and absolutely unwarranted. Pretty sure we're also done with Motel 6 just for allowing this. read more

Only chose this place as it's pet friendly. I did not have high expectations but I only needed it for one night as I was driving across the country. The front desk clerk was nice enough. The room has paper thin walls and I could hear every footstep outside my door. I know it's a 2 star hotel but the bed was rock hard with a very crappy bedspread. Fairly clean motel, but scary parking lot with sketchy methmobiles driving through canvassing cars. A/C in room didn't work, tv is tiny. Sleeping with my Glock loaded next to my bed. You know you're staying at a winner when there is a substantial sign on the door that says "For your protection, when in room engage deadbolt and security latch." Most unpredictable with bookings. I booked room with Microwave and Fridge, but on arrival, I don't get room with those amenities. On asking their standard reply is, they don't have room and their system shows standard room. I am sure I have booked room with Microwave and Fridge. To top it off room is infested with flies and there is smoking smell in non-smoking room !!! This is not one off incident, I had same experience in their other chain at Mammoth Lakes, CA. I am not going to book with Motel 6 ever again. Here is the update: I got email asking for my feedback for stay at Motel 6. After submitting feedback, this is the email I got. I don't have an iota of doubt that this motel 6 is not maintained professionals. Forget about decent apology for ruining my stay, he is accusing me of looking for refund, while I never even mentioned once about refund in my feedback or front desk staff. Super clean, looked brand new. Front desk staff super friendly, courteous and helped when I couldn't get my room key to work. They came immediately to open the door along with 2 more keys! The hotel was very clean and the desk clerks were nice, but the night was a disaster from a rest standpoint. As there was a convention in town. I felt like I was in a college dorm !! We were traveling and had a very short night and had a long drive to see family in Las Vegas the next day. And we were unable to sleep. Just when it seemed to quiet down, another person would be heard talking and laughing loudly. I know we should have called the front desk but it was intermittent enough to think, ok.. it's going to quiet down now... but then it didn't. I did complain to the sweet clerk the following morning and she was very apologetic and did give me a small percentage off my bill. On leaving, I really felt angry and did write an email. I just received a phone call from Michelle, the manager who was extremely professional and apologetic. She did refund the stay and I have to say that until that phone call, every time we passed a motel 6 on the road we had choice words that we yelled in the car.... until now. A big thank you to Michelle, the manager who just phoned me and for making it right and turning around a rather frustrating situation. My family and I went camping in Montana, we were on our way home. I had been driving for 13 hours and I needed to stop and rest so I made a reservation at Motel 6 in Twin Falls Idaho. I should mention I was traveling with my parents and my dad has mobility issues where it's very hard for him to get around he also has oxygen he carries with him wherever he goes. We checked into the hotel and my first problem was that I had to pay to use Wi-Fi, that to me is totally insane. That said I paid to use the Wi-Fi I dropped my dad off in our room got him out of the truck with his oxygen and whatever he needed for the night as well as well's medication. I went and parked my truck it was towing a trailer and walked back to the room and took a very quick shower. Before I was able to get dressed from my shower there was a spark behind the refrigerator and electricity in our room completely went out. I immediately called the front desk and they sent the general manager to our room to check it out. She said that she was unable to fix it or determine what the problem was, in her defense she did offer to give us a different room however I explained to her that my dad admittedly was not able to get around it was not very mobile we would not be able to move him. I asked her if she could just please discount the room and we would deal with it for the night. Unfortunately that was not the end of our woes at the Motel 6. Someone in a room close to ours had a dog that kept barking all night, the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were flat and flimsy. Every time I was about to fall asleep the shower would dump water all on its own lol. I was so tired from all that driving I had done all I wanted was to go to sleep and have a nice relaxing rest and that did not happen it was literally the worst night. The manager had told me in the morning to go to the front office and I would be given a credit off my bill. The next morning I did that only to find out what they would not credit my bill they give me a free night stay at another Motel 6. What makes them think I want to stay Motel 6 when this one completely sucked I don't get it. So I had to stay in a room with an uncomfortable bed, a flimsy pillow and no electricity and I got nothing for my trouble. BTW... The wifi I PAID for sucked and didn't even work. Gentleman at front desk evening of April 10th was great. Super helpful and accommodating. I read the reviews before staying here and think one needs to look passed the name/stigma and determine what their needs are (i.e., clean bed and shower - amenities not important if just traveling through). Anyway, I'm a huge fan. Room was clean, bed was good enough, and parking worked for my U-haul. And whatever his name was (front desk person) needs a raise! read more

I was at hour 20 of driving straight from Dallas to Seattle. It was the last available room till Boise, ID. I was exhausted and in need of a long sleep. It was easy to get to from the highway and the staff was very nice. $60 for a queen size bed, not a bad deal. Has a pool, cable TV , Nice Stand-up Shower and WIFI for $2.50 more. Its was a decent Motel 6. I pretty much slept for 12 hours straight. Upon Waking up i felt rested from the stiffer mattress ( Which I Prefer.) But, I also had a itchy arm and back. Cleaning the sleep out of my eyes, I noticed dried blood marks on the pillow and mattress. Upon further inspection I see slight specs moving on the corner of the Mattress...BED BUGS!! I Showered with the Hottest water I could and ran to Check out. So all in all a Mid level Motel 6 in a rural area but the BED BUGS grossed me out and idk if I'd stay there again after that experience, read more
