I read previous reviews before my stay, and I'm happy to report that most concerns have been addressed. Waters are provided, and the place is well-polished. My room was on the third floor, facing El Centenario, offering views of the border and the hotel's casino sign--totally a vibe at night! WiFi access and a smart TV for streaming were available, making my stay comfortable. Although I was offered a top-floor room, I preferred a renovated room, which was perfect. Extra blankets in the closet, clean and organized restrooms, and great water pressure made my stay even better. No mini fridge, but it wasn't needed. Shout out to Ulises and the staff for taking great care of us during our stay. Highly recommend!"

I've stayed in La Mansion, Motel Premier, El Paraiso, and others. This motel, even though is further from the border is as nice as La Mansion, but very affordable. I like this motel because the WiFi is good and reliable, which helps me whenever I have work to do. This last weekend they had a problem with their WiFi and I wasn't able to do work. Unfortunately, the Internet connection is what brings me here. I was upset and the staff understood. I was thinking of leaving somewhere else, but they moved me to another room that had some WiFi connectivity (WiFi was spotty in some areas). They went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed and that to me meant a lot. This is why I'm giving them a 5 star review. The rooms are clean, quiet, and nice. The prices are better than Motel 6, even though I go there on the weekends. For anyone wanting to get the best bang for you buck, this is the place. I highly recommend it.

In order to get here, either drive your car or take a taxi along Via Rapida. Once you turn into this place, you stop and pay for the room. Weekdays, you can get a room the whole night for $30 or so. During the weekends, you can get a room for a 4-hour period for the same price. Most rooms have their own garage downstairs. You walk on up, and you find yourself in a nicely decorated and kept room. Honestly, I have never found a better value anywhere. The rooms are nice (check my photos), and you can order all sorts of food and drinks. The food is very tasty! I'd recommend this place if you're ready to call it a night. The workers here are super nice, and they're always on point. I recommend brushing up on Spanish before you come here, as most workers are not bilingual. Trust me, the value is worth it.

Make a reservation. They also tend to have rooms ready for check in without a reservation during the week days. The rooms are a great price, if you are on a budget, and they are clean--spotless, no, but they are just fine and you will be happy there. Their English is not great, but they are really nice and they will figure it out. The staff is just super nice and the area is gated with a guard. If you need anything for your room they will help you. I never checked to see if they have Wi Fi. If that is important to you make sure you call and ask. Have fun.

It used to be our weekend get away, but waiting 3 hours in line in a car just to get over the border to San Diego is just not worth it. This all happened after 9/11and nothing has been done to deal with this. It is sad. This hotel however is great. We love it, have stayed before and if we can get over the darn border we will go again. We miss it. The hotel is large, in a good area and the rooms are nice. They have great room service and we love their eatery. There are nice places to walk nearby or you can grab a cab. The staff is super nice and does speak English. Our room was ready on time and it was clean and comfortable. They have everything you need there and they are very nice.

It's quiet, except when they're doing construction in the day. The stay comes with breakfast (7-10am) and there's a coffee machine and an ice machine available all day. I really liked the breakfast. It's a small spread, but the food was good. There was oatmeal, pancakes, scrambled eggs, beans, nacho chips, papaya and pastries. The room is alright. Mine did not have a window to the outside (it was facing the hallway), a little stuffy, but it was bearable. The hotel looks pretty new; it feels minimalistic in an Ikea kind of way. The power went out for 45 min or so on the first day I was there; but that's probably outside the hotel's control.

Wanted to check in at lobby and got very confused because as I open the door, it looked like a cafe and thought I was going into the wrong place! The staff was helpful but could only issue one key which was fine and it was a very easy check in process. Upon getting into my room, it was not very spacious but it was me new, neat, comfortable, and had all the basic necessities. The only thing that could be better is the TV quality, it's 720p with no HD. The breakfast downstairs was one of the better ones, eggs, beans, yogurt, cereal, and 24/7 coffee, cappuccino, and hot chocolate! Summary - I was not expecting much but this went past my expectations for the price paid.
