When I found out I was pregnant with our second, I knew I wanted to do things differently, and Jessica was absolutely the answer. She was able to ensure that my husband and I were fully prepared, educated, and empowered. COVID regulations hit DAYS before I went into labor, and she pivoted on a dime. She made sure that even though she was unable to be with us in the hospital, both my husband and I were 100% ready to take charge of the birth of our son. Because of covid I knew she wouldn't be allowed in the hospital but she had already given me so much - including helping me decide to change prenatal care and birthing hospital which I'm SO GLAD I did. I was able to find a hospital with midwives that was on board with my birth plan! The plan was that she would come to my house and labor with me as long as possible before going to the hospital and she would teach my husband how to support me as well. That's exactly what happened when I went Into labor. She basically did all the work with me at home, helping me manage pain and helping me trust that I could have the unmedicated labor I wanted (even when I doubted myself). Thanks to her I did it! By the time I got to the hospital I was 9 cm dilated! She had helped me do all the work at home, my baby was born 20 minutes after getting to the hospital they didn't have time for any intervention, and I'm so glad everything went according to my birth plan. But it's only because I had Jessica through it all!

We purchased amazing car seats for our twins but we couldn't seem to get them to remain properly secured. We have two other kids and have installed infant, convertible, and booster seats. However, these were not working for us. We called the store we purchased the car seats from and they highly recommend Brent as a certified car seat installer. 50-70% of car seats aren't installed properly. You can't put a price tag on your children's safety. It was a very reasonable price. He did an assessment of our van, told us the best configuration for the infant seats along with our son's booster seat, and walked us step-by-step through the installation. Well worth it!

This review is a long time coming…read more I meant to write this shortly after our son was born, however, I was caught up in the early fog of sleepless motherhood and the words I wrote early on never seemed to showcase how I really felt about our experience with Ashley and LoveBug Doula. When I wrote this review I wanted to convey just how much Ashley Wain meant to my husband and I and the success of the birth of our son. I met Ashley at an event when I was about six months pregnant and I had read about doulas online previous to meeting her. As a natural lifestyle advocate, the idea definitely intrigued me even though I'd planned a hospital birth due to placenta complications. Going into my pregnancy I knew I wanted it to be as intervention free and medication free as possible I just didn't know how I was going to get there - as I am someone who is anxiety prone and who feels has a low pain tolerance. I put my faith in God that He would get me there to achieve my birthing goals and it was an exceptional blessing that he led my husband and I to meeting Ashley. When I first met her she made me feel so comfortable and I felt like I had known her for years. I knew that if we went the route of hiring a Doula it would have to be her. Her spots were filling up quickly so I had my husband come in and speak with her right away, and again, everything in me was telling me that I needed to hire her and so I went home that night and my husband and I actually talked about it at length for a few days. We ended up deciding to make her a part of our birthing team and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't believe that that was the best decision I made for our birth. The care that she gave to us, the way that she spoke life into me for 29 hours during a painful an all natural birth, the patience and strength within her and the way she supported not only me and my son, but my husband and my hospital team, solidified over and over again, hour after hour, that she was meant to be there. If you are considering a Doula but are skeptical or have reservations know that we did too. It was a leap of faith that we took and I believe with everything in me that I would not have had the birth experience that I had and I would not have been able to labor as long as I did naturally had it not been for Ashley's professional coaching, friendly disposition and overall knowledge of the birth process. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing woman and the talents that she has. If I am so blessed to have anymore babies I will do everything in my power to be able to have Ashley on my team again.

We hired Ashley for the birth of my second child, when I was attempting an unmedicated VBAC after a horrendous experience with my first birth. I knew I wanted labor support for this birth, but honestly hiring a doula was a little "crunchy" and outside of our realm of comfort. From the first meeting with Ashley I could tell that I was completely wrong! Ashley was so real and down to earth, and made us both feel completely at ease and prepared for our TOLAC and hopeful VBAC. During actual labor, Ashley came when I told her I needed her, and helped me to do relax through contractions and do some exercise to try to turn my posterior baby. We labored at home with her help for as long as possible, and when I felt "pushy" she got us to the hospital and into a room ready to have a baby! Her coaching through early labor, transition, and especially pushing was instrumental to my successful VBAC. She was amazing at addressing my fears during labor and made sure I was informed and felt completely in control the whole time, as well as kept my husband calm and helped him to be involved with helping me. I knew I wanted a doula for my labor/birth, and had a doula recommended to me by a friend. I…read moreprocrastinated on contacting her, and by the time I did- she was booked. So, about 10 weeks before I was due I started the search for another doula and came across both Lora, and Chelsea, individually. I contacted them and they let me know they had recently teamed up and were available. We had a zoom call with them and my husband and I decided to book them for our August birth. Chelsea & Lora came for a home visit in June, so we could meet them and discuss initial ideas about my labor/birth/etc. They both brought their individual strengths and so much knowledge. They then came back a few weeks before I was due to discuss plans for when i went into labor, comfort measures, etc. They were both there any other time my husband and I had a question throughout the whole process as well. I had a long, long (44 hour) labor and we (mainly my husband) were in contact with Chelsea/Lora the entire time. About 22 hours in, once the pain had gotten pretty bad, Lora came to our house at 8pm. She quietly supported us and helped get through the contractions. At midnight, Chelsea swapped in so Lora could get some rest. Chelsea encouraged me to keep moving and try different things to help progress labor. When we thought it was time to go to the birth center, Chelsea came with us. When I finally ended up being admitted, Lora was the doula who ultimately joined us at the birth center- and spent over 12 hours there with us. I had mentioned during one of our previous meetings that I would love it if the doula who was present could snap some pictures during the day of labor/birth- I wasn't looking for anything too fancy or professional but just wanted some iphone pics. Lora went above and beyond, using her own camera to take lots of pictures and a video of the birth- which we haven't seen yet but are so excited for! Both Lora & Chelsea truly went above and beyond, and are a perfect complementary team. They came for a 2 week postpartum visit and it felt like having friends over to meet the baby- we cannot recommend them and their services enough & will definitely be using them for baby 2!

We contacted her around 34 weeks pregnant because I was feeling a serious lack of agency and options with my OB but didn't know where to turn. Kelly encouraged me to seek a new provider, helped me get in quickly with Premier Midwifery (which I also strongly recommend) and empowered me that I could have the birth experience that I was looking for including waiting for spontaneous labor and going unmedicated. At 41+4 we welcomed our son within ±6 hours of arriving at the hospital - sped along by the wisdom that Kelly brought to the delivery room. She is deeply empathetic and knowledgable and absolutely the person you want by your side in labor. My only regret is that she wasn't there for my first baby!

At first I was skeptical of paying for a bind when I could easily buy one for less online however I was moreso drawn to the recovery experience that Bellibind offers. I decided to go with the 5 day package and added on the massages. The massages were amazing! I worked with Princess who is the founder of Bellibind - she made me feel so comfortable, relaxed, and confident during the whole journey. The massage included a womb massage which was incredible as I've never had anyone focus on that space during previous massages. During the actual binding, Princess was so patient and helped me bind on my own. Eventually I got the hang of it. I highly, highly recommend Bellibind!
