Best Bros bid was very detailed so that I knew exactly what materials and how they would be applied. That made the HOA process less of a hassle. The only difference was that they told me they would spray the gutters because they said it would look better but the wind wasn't cooperating and they rolled them. Which didn't matter because the guy that rolled them was a professional a.k.a David. The owner is Monty and he is a combat vet that will answer his calls. He was very patient with our HOA. The foreman Francisco was super attentive to detail and he made sure that everything was accounted for and clean. Very happy we hired them!

The…read moremain home single color now has two separate, very different colors; that is, the paint used in one area is behaving significantly differently than that in other areas. Some of the house is still green, some of it is now becoming purple. The areas of paint that face the weather have fared really badly with flaking, peeling, and many gaps. It already needs a complete re-painting, which seems too early. So as much as I appreciated working with the company, there are some issues that have appeared that are disappointing.

He visited my residence to provide an estimate on Friday and was able to schedule an appointment for the following Monday. I was particularly pleased with their availability, as I was in the process of relocating to a new home and sought to expedite the project. On Monday, the concrete crew arrived punctually, introduced themselves--Jose, Cody, and Alan--and provided me with an estimated timeframe for the concrete coating process. Above and beyond moments: Paint color choice - After their first day of painting master bedroom/upstairs hallway I was having a touch time visualizing the color we chose to run throughout the entire house. He was very professional when I told him I was unsure. He consulted on alternative colors, brought additional samples he already had, and even ordered a couple samples. I had about 1/2 a day to decide and I did not feel rushed. Gus did a great job communicating the timeline and when it was going to start costing more money. The process ultimately made me feel very confident with our color choice and we are very happy with the results! Scope Change - We added on painting wrought iron railings, the week before starting the job. He was able to accommodate the additional project problem! Unquoted trim work - There was 4 months between quoting and job start. I forgot that we had discussed that I planned to paint the space on our windows between the shutters and the window. (I was in a money saving mindset, I said I will paint the trim/baseboards). I asked him about that section and he reminded me it was not quoted. We hired Casey from CB Home to install a skylight at our Blue Lake Springs cabin and the outcome…read morewas a complete failure. Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. Between the failed installation and the way he disappeared afterward, this felt like dealing with a rookie amateur rather than a professional contractor. Based on our experience, do not use Casey from CB Home. We are including photos of the installation to document the quality of his work.
