They then put me in front of a computer to do a virtual meeting I could have had done at home instead of wasting my time and energy. ONE HOUR LATER a doctor finally approaches me to figure out why I'm still there, takes me to check me out, then tells me despite me telling him I am in a lot of severe pain that it is my anxiety and CPTSD, not "real pain". I will be looking into a new doctor, ladies don't bother if you want to be listened to. Avoid it in fact. Absolutely terrible and horrific experience that I embarrassed myself about trying to get any sort of real help. This is the same location that was supposed to give me a physical therapy appointment with someone who actually does deal with my specific issues in FEBRUARY, so I really only have myself to blame. Don't go here, even if you have Medicaid, just dont

Dr. Swiber is a wonderful, compassionate, prince of a human! Seriously, his kindness can not be overstated. Great sense of humor too! Megan Frank, PA is also top notch! She hasn't been in pain management very long, but she has an innate sense of caring and empathy that makes her perfect for the field. The nurses are amazing, along with the office staff! Very little waiting, great communication. If I ever move back to NC, this is the first place I will go for care!

The RNs are fabulous, and the office staff is responsive, caring, and welcoming. I am already getting relief from my care received. This place is excellent. I used to go to Raleigh. I am so happy to have found Dr. Swiber and this care team in Cedar Point. DO not go to the Morehead City center at all. However, the only great thing about Morehead City Center is the PA that is responsive and caring. The RNs are nosy bodies making comments with no knowledge. Dare I say the office staff is awful, and the nurses are nasty and make nasty comments and your privacy is non-existent with them. Go to Cedar Point. A world of care at that center.

First of all I waited 3 1/2 to 4 hours just to see the Dr Munoz. She gave me medication that did not work for my condition. I called many times and asked for her to return my call but, instead I got nothing. So therefore I was in pain for many weeks. I was told by her medical assistance that dr Munoz said to take over the counter medication that I I informed dr Munoz that it didn't work for me. I left 3-4 personal messages with her Medical Assistant to inform dr Muniz on my lack of progress and I receive no call back. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was told also that she was going to return my call, and I got nothing. I can go on and on about Lack of professionalism that I've encountered with this practice But, instead I decided to spend more energy on looking for another doctor that will take my condition seriously. So, I voluntarily discontinue myself from this group. I should've read the reviews Before making an appointment with this so call "doctor" So my bad ‍‍. Lesson learned. The only reason why I gave them one star was because that was the only way I was able to write a review. Otherwise they deserve no stars.

I strongly recommend you to back up and go elsewhere if you can, if you happen to have to go under…read moredoctor Huff's knife. My mother had the unpleasant opportunity of having a very painful surgery procedure with a very long recovery process post op, under this doctor's care. After the first few weeks, he gave her the weakest narcotics knowing good and well she needed something stronger, and I witnessed her going through hell as a result. When I tried to call and voice my concerns with their staff on September 14th, "Rella" promised I'd be contacted once he returned from surgery after 1pm, and instead she called my mother that same day around 5pm instead of me and told her I tried to call the doctor and cited HIPPAA. I filed a complaint with the state, and sadly they saw nothing wrong. I left an almost identical review on maps and instead of the typical "we always want everyone to have a positive experience at Huff ortho...", they decided to forego that, and go from calling me a liar in their first draft reply "We have a very good ongoing relationship with our patient and are taking good care of her. Your post is incorrect and untruthful." to a second draft eliminating the liar part and just saying that "This is not our patient and we have a very good relationship with our patient." This is precisely the kind of hateful, neglectful, divisive rhetoric I have been voicing my concerns about. Why call me a liar? They must think I enjoyed seeing them under-manage her those first few weeks, or that I enjoy wasting my time making up an "incorrect and untruthful" account of how they basically act like I don't even exist, and anything I have to say, despite being the one those first few weeks to get her meds, cook her food, etc, is irrelevant. Only go here if you enjoy pain and if you don't mind not having any recourse once you realize your pain, your concerns and your family are being neglected.

The facility itself is clean, well-kept, and professional. That might sound like a small thing, but after being sent to other places in the past, it makes a big difference walking into somewhere that actually feels like a proper medical office instead of something run down or questionable. I saw Dr. Sunil Aurora, and he was excellent. Very professional, thorough, and--most importantly--he took the time to clearly explain how the procedure works and what to expect going forward. No rushing, no talking over your head--just straight, understandable information. Right now, we're waiting on confirmation from the VA to approve coverage for four treatments, so that's the next step. But based on this first visit, I feel comfortable and confident moving forward with them. If the treatment side matches the first impression, this is going to be a solid place for care.
