Since Chad needs a refresher on what happened during my move, I've attached some images to help. Attached everyone will be able to see exactly how many FEET it is from one door another. Not only did I NOT rent a truck, but I have messages I sent Stephanie (his wife) where I informed her I do not drive and she stated this was not an issue. The business could have verified exactly where the locations were instead of blaming the customer that it was "one mile away", which as we can all read is not. Secondly, you will all see the charge I had that is $375 from this company. Chad, Angel, and another mover were all there. This, as we can, count is a total of 3 movers. My quote was for $180 for 2 movers and 2 hours, and anything additional would be $85/hr. I have that message, too if anyone would like to see that. The total move took 2.5-3 hours tops. Lastly and most importantly, anyone who knows me, knows I would absolutely never say the horrible, sexist things Chad states in his previous comment. My assumption is that he says I said these things because he knows his company is not insured, he never offered to fix my $700 table, and he stated "use liquid nail" and essentially drove away. As most of you know, liquid nail is not how to resolve this issue. PS - I moved on May 19, 2020. This was clearly not 6 months ago and life happens. Chad and Angel were great! I hired this team via Uhaul for an in-town move and I am very pleased. Great communication--the scheduler reached out a few days in advance of my move to get details and then the lovers contacted me the morning of to share their ETA. I moved into a third floor apartment with no elevator and there were no complaints. The movers did bring tools and straps, but I was reminded to rent moving blankets which did come in handy. Hired Motivated Movers and they damaged my refrigerator. Chad said that they didn't realize it was so tippy and he would pay to fix it. When I called him with the price he said he didn't have insurance and hung up on me. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Also, I filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office and they told me to file a claim in court. Just received a judgement today and I am sure I will be chasing to find him and get the money that I am owed. Definitely not a reputable business. read more

I hired motivated movers through U haul website to unload the truck I rented from U haul. The movers were lazy and I helped them to get the job done one time. In fact, I worked more than they did. I left a review of two sentences on U haul website. I wrote: Lazy movers. I will never hire them again.! I received a phone call from one of the movers and his supervisor. I thought they wanted to apologize about what happened but the mover was very mad at me because of my review and suddenly he or his supervisor hanged up the phone on me.!!! Great crew of guys led by Chad. They showed up early and ready to work. More than just hired muscle they solved lots of problems as the entryway and stairs were very tight but there were determined to get everything in and had their own tools to takes things apart as needed and put them back together. Chad even improvised a homemade drill bit extender to deal with some stubborn couch feet. Very professional service and we were able to negotiate an extension in order for them to assemble some bed frames I had purchased for my daughters. I'd absolutely hire again. read more

Just got off the phone with Uhaul. Over the course of two weeks of e-mails, not once did they mention that I should use them through Uhaul as they are subcontracted to do. If they are independent, that's ok by me, but it became deceptive to me when they cancelled last minute without explanation. They should not even get one star. read more

I had an appointment today for them to come and move me into my apartment and they never showed up, never called and aren't answering their phone. Hired motivated movers to load a truck. After unpacking at our new location & searching through our belongings, we've discovered several items missing. These were things that were out in the open (not everything was going on the truck) and small enough to easily carry off- 6 electronic items worth over $1000. We hired some help loading a truck for our move today, and Mike and Rich did an absolutely amazing job!! I cannot speak highly enough of their work ethic. It was hot, humid, and they worked so hard and helped us get the truck fully loaded, including all the big heavy furniture, in just over an hour. Amazing!!!! I messaged them the night before and they got back to me within 10 mins or so! They were able to send 2 guys out the NEXT DAY to fill our MiBox storage container. The guys were very friendly and were super nice! They packed the box so tight! I couldn't believe how quickly and also how efficiently they pack it. The movers for professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and careful while moving the furniture. All of the people that came to help were excellent but the mover Angel went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied and felt comfortable throughout the move. Not only did they fail to physically show up on my moving date but they failed to communicate, failed to return any phone calls, and charged my credit card like nothing happened. There was no communication before the move. Michelle left me a voicemail at midnight when I requested the quote and then became difficult to reach afterwards. I had to call back three times to confirm the date and time of move. I was given the option between 8am and 1pm on my move day. I said I would prefer 1pm but ONLY if the movers were certain they could arrive on time. I had a flight to catch later that day so their timeliness was critical. At 1pm, I had received no communication. After chasing down my mover, Chad, he informed me he would be over an hour late, and blamed the delay on U-Haul switching the pickup location for the U-Box. He ended up being over 2 hours late, at which point, I had to leave for the airport and my roommate had to supervise the move. Additionally, he used a lock to lock the Box but did not give me or my roommate the key so that I would be able to open it. One month later, when I opened up the box, I called Chad, who told me to "smash off" the lock, which my new movers ended up having to do. Upon opening the box, I found several of my items damaged, several of the furniture pads not used, and boxes shoved haphazardly into the box. Would not recommend to a friend based on complete lack of communication, lack of professionalism, and poor quality work. read more

Was not that pleased with this company, first I was called the day before saying that they had made a mistake in scheduling so they would be late the following day for my move. They were 2.5 hours late the following day which delayed our entire move. The guys that were moving smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which I did not care for. They were quick to get everything loaded and unloaded but then they could not get the box spring for our bed up the stairs to our new house so they left it in the dining room. After the movers left my husband, brother in law, and friend got the box spring up the stairs by themselves. Needless to say I will not be hiring them again, but I guess they were affordable for a reason. read more

Great service, and friendly staff. Very considerate and we finished our move without any damage to our goods. An admittedly challenging move and couple heavy items. I hope that management at the company, equips employees with better moving gear and takes care of them. The movers worked very hard and were moving non-stop!
